Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Our customer service team is always on hand to help with enquiries, and the occasional problem!

I ordered from online, received “order is ready to pick up” went there after 30 mins. They said “we are not opened so we can’t give you order” such a waste of time and insufficient system

It appears that your order was marked ready early as the team at the store was working to check through orders they'd received while setting up the store to open for the day.
We are very sorry that this early notification led to your arrival at the store before their actual opening time.
While we do list the hours for the store online and in your order confirmation email we understand how this early notification of your order being ready at the store led to this confusion.

Small, Expensive, however tasty
Cost of Cake for a small i.e. 8 people is a big disappointment.
Size of cake was shockingly small
Charging £2.50 for writing a name is a joke
Cake taste nice but is sticky. I am used to airy and fluffy

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am sorry for any disappointment experienced on this occasion.
We do state the sizing and dimensions of our cakes on the product pages so customers can check to see if the size is appropriate for their occasion, Our small cakes are 5.5 inches in diameter and we suggest these serve up to 8 slices based on small party sized servings.
The personalisation charge reflects the additional time and costs involved in processing and producing personalised messages, rather than increasing the overall price of the product to cover a service that not every customer uses or opts for. We appreciate that this is a change from what our customers were previously used to, and we understand why this may be disappointing.
I can also assure you all items are baked and prepared fresh for the date of delivery/collection.

The sales assistant who served us was…
The sales assistant who served us in the Ealing Broadway branch was unfriendly and rude. There was no smile, no greeting or anything. Just watching what my child was picking up when she was trying to show me which candles she wanted for the cake we ordered. I wouldn’t recommend this branch due to the unfriendly interaction of the girl who served us. Get better staff who are friendly and actually enjoy doing their jobs

the vegan Victoria sponge excellent
I ordered the vegan Victoria sponge for my daughter’s birthday, it arrived in perfect condition, looked fantastic and the tasted wonderful.
The cake is very good value as a vegan I struggle to find really good celebration cakes.
I ordered this cake in store as I was passing, I received and excellent service and the delivery arrived promptly.

It looked beautiful and tasted even better — everyone loved it. Even my son, who normally doesn’t like cake, had two helpings!
The cake was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. I couldn’t have been happier with it.

Great service, great cake
Ordered a mermaid cake for my daughter’s birthday and it was delicious and moist. I also ordered two boxes of their mini cup cakes which are the perfect size for kids and they were devoured. Really great I was able to order online and collect from a Lola’s close to me two days later which was super efficient!

Wonderful, delicious personalised cake
Wonderful personalised cake for my mother's 💯 th birthday. Exactly as ordered, packed in a very sturdy box. I ordered the large raspberry and lemon cake. It looked and tasted divine. The sponge tasted really home made and was enjoyed by everyone.
Not my first Lola's cake and won't be my last!
