First class after sales service
I had an excellent product (massive 120cm by 120cm tiles) at a good price, and when there was a damaged tile (assume during delivery process) there was absolutely no quibbling, they asked to see a photo, and within an hour of my initial enquiry were shipping replacements FOC. Very efficient and I will definately be using them again!

Very disappointed, I’ve got a trade account which they won’t give me the discount that comes with it, very small money but show’s the strength of company how They deal with you. Service not good at all. Trade counter person is very aggressive and rude. I prefer to use Silver land stone. Much easier really good service, constantly striving to keep us happy , hence me

Not recommended!
I am a mid size resi contractor. I have recommended London Stone to clients for small orders. They are expensive but I've always felt their showrooms can offer product knowledge. I have been massively disappointed. LS is presently understaffed, it is relying heavily on sytems; clients buy in a showroom and then deal with random individuals when chasing their order. The LS systems cannot access production details from the showrooms and it looks chaotic.
On a recent order we must have dealt with 5 different individuals chasing a late production - poor & as an experienced contractor I do not recommend them.

We sincerely apologise for your recent experience, which falls below the high standard of customer service we pride ourselves on.
We accept that your order was not handled as efficiently as it should have been and understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with several team members while seeking an update.
The initial delay was caused by us waiting to receive the Heath Sandstone from our supplier.
Our Production Team sent an email confirming a delivery date of 24 July; however, it is clear that the overall communication and continuity throughout the order were not good enough.
We greatly value the trust contractors place in us when recommending London Stone to their clients.
We will be reviewing how this order was managed, particularly our communication and internal handovers, to understand where we fell short and improve our service moving forward

Broken slab on delivery / bad subsequent service
Delivery of paving stones turned up broken. Couldn't deliver a replacement until after my landscaper was turning up to lay them - so I will face additional financial cost as a result, which is something they won't help with.
Further, I ordered these sandstones given the variation in colour of each displayed in the kent showroom and in the basis of a discussion with the salesperson. When they arrived, they were all a very similar colour (ironically except for one slab, which of course was the one that had broken). I said because of the broken slab, and the lack of colour in the slabs I'd prefer to just get a full refund and order something else, but they said that would cost me £35. I had already paid a £45 delivery fee for the slabs (only 7 of them) which is crazy when you think one then turned up broken, yet they are offering me no solution that doesnt put me in a financially worse position. Further, if you ever want to call them it typically takes at least 15-20 mins to get through as they take ages to pick up the phone every time i tried (this happened at least 3 times so a total hour or more time lost waiting). Went with them for a premium product and service and came away dissatisfied with both the product quality and very unhappy with the level of effort in trying to put things right for something THEY did wrong (why should I bear the additional costs as a result of their error?!).
Seen a number of reviews praising the service but I think the real approach to customer service is seen in how a company reacts when things go wrong rather than right - true colours shown.

Having looked into your order, I can see you purchased six 600x600 slabs and one 900x600 slab. While our showroom displays the range of tones available, natural stone is quarried and packed in batches, so colour variation can never be guaranteed. With a relatively small quantity of slabs, it is not unusual to receive similar tones.
Regarding the damaged slab, we're sorry it arrived in that condition. The issue was reported late on Friday afternoon, and the earliest replacement delivery available was arranged for Tuesday. We also recommend ordering an additional 10% for wastage to help minimise disruption should accidental damage occur during delivery or installation.
As your concerns also related to the colour, we offered the option to return the full order. However, as the slabs supplied were within the expected variation for this product and not deemed faulty, the standard collection charge would apply. Our priority was therefore to replace the damaged slab as quickly as possible, which is the solution our team arranged.
We pride ourselves on resolving issues promptly and fairly, and we're sorry that, in this instance, you feel we fell short of your expectations. Your feedback has been noted, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
