Every part of the process was amazing. August was calm and patient as we explore combinations and multiple options. The team was sweet to notify me on a genuine human error that incurred and asked if I'd like them to change it. Beyond the wonderfully made product, I think the team and their service was the highlight. I'm so excited to use my journal for the new year!

I purchased an Ernest in orange, with a small zodiac charm attached to my cord. I have added a few charms to the side from thrift as well. My journal arrived within the same week I ordered it (France - Midwest US). It feels luxurious, and I have filled it with poetry and drawings.

If I could go back in time, I would have purchased the Pocket Leather Notebook in the color Primavera. I would have also gotten my initials engraved, and changed the cord to green.

Do not fear your bold interest like I did. Customize your journal to your liking, this is such a precious experience.

Where do I start? The entire virtual appointment experience, from start to finish, exceeded my expectations. The designer I worked with allowed me to take my time and showed me every color combination that I requested. She even took me on a tour of the shop AND walked me outside so I could see the Christmas lights in the gallerie. She was so patient and offered my guidance on my options. My virtual appointment was on a Thursday and FOUR days later, on Monday, my LC was delivered to my doorstep. I was absolutely blown away that I received my order all the way from France (I’m in Tennessee, USA) in less than two business days. 10/10 experience!

Couldn't recommend the team at Louise Carmen enough! I did the online video call which was brilliant I got to see what each journal looked like and got to try all different types of combinations until i found my perfect match. Even the customer service was excellent I sent a few emails with queries that i had and they were so quick to respond!

I just love how personal the journals are being able to pick your charms, engraving, strings, leather, the differnt journals that you can get for inside it along with the most beautiful portfolios that you can choose from and don't forget the dust bags it just makes it really special as it's tallied to you.

It's my first journal so i can't wait to start my journaling journey in 2026! Even tho i know what i purchased I still wrapped it and put it under the tree for christmas as a gift "To me ,From me"

The one-on-one video appointment is a great experience for those who cannot travel to the shop in person. You still get that personal support and can make better informed decisions by seeing all the options through a lens one by one or altogether. It is such a special experience. You truly feel as if you’re creating the notebook of your life.
