We spent a wonderful Easter holiday at Magdalen Cottage in the Cotswolds with our family, and it was truly a perfect experience. The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful—charming, cozy, and full of character. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Paul and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home and were available for anything we needed during our stay. Their hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to our holiday. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

This house is nicely situated 10 mins walk from beach 15 from town. It is in good condition nicely appointed with many thoughtful touches to make a comfortable stay.
Why though provide us with only 2 towels for a week in a house that sleeps 6?
Hence 4 star not 5

Really great cottage, lovely host, and superb location!

The property itself was in a great location and on the surface well presented.
However the standard of cleaning was not good ( old codwebs in the main bedroom and all over the balcony to the point I had to clean down before we could sit out). Also the bathroom vents were very dirty.
My bath towel was torn and fraying.
There were only two dishwasher tablets.
No welcome pack but the paper referred to one. We had no Nespresso capsules.
The bed side lights in the main bedroom were away from the bed and could not be reached from the bed. Frustrating.
The clock in the lounge was not working and could not find a spare battery.
Finally the property could take six. In the kitchen was only six mugs and six not matching sets of cutlery.
The sink in the front bathroom did not hold water.
I can supply pictures if required.
Overall our feeling was that for the price we paid the standard of should have been better.

We loved our stay. The cottage had everything we needed, immaculate and spotless. We loved the grounds and enjoyed the easy walk to the local pub.

We had a few issues when we first arrived and the manager showed up immediately to explain, apologize and bring us a bottle of wine (California but still…). Place was well equipped and the beds were comfy

Bridlepath cottage was an idyllic house set in beautiful surroundings in which to enjoy a special family holiday.
This was an excellently equipped and comfortably furnished house, living up to its 5* creditation. The garden and grounds were well kept and offered a safe space for the children to play. Being blessed with good weather all week was a bonus and we all enjoyed the outside space using the decking seating area and barbecue. The bedrooms were wonderfully comfortable and we all slept peacefully.
A perfect place to stay! Thank you for providing such a lovely space for our holiday-we all loved it!

Beautiful location barn geat layout and design.
Hot tub was fantastic especially for Grandchildren ages 11 and 9.
We will definitely be visiting again.

We had to find a home to stay for nearly a month, due to a house move complication and choose The Foaling Box as it looked great. Sometimes pictures can be misleading, however in this case we were thrilled to find that in fact The Foaling Box was even better than we thought it might be.

Dan and Polly were wonderful hosts and there was a very generous welcome pack with too many goodies to mention, all locally sourced. We had our dog Mia with us and she loved walking around the Dan and Polly’s fields every day on the amazing weather. The property also was cleaned very professionally and new towels were provided each week we stayed. Less than a mile away was the amazing Allington Cafe which served locally produce breakfasts and lunches and included an excel t butcher and all things alcohol and produce locally produced. In addition Chippenham was only 5 minutes away with Paddington only an hour away by fast train.
In addition, Bath was only 20 minutes away with all its wonderful independent shops, Restaurants and Roman history.

Another highlight for shoppers is the Eccles t MacArthur Glen retail outlet in Swindon close to the M4 about 30 mins away.

We have stayed in many places over the years, but none nicer than The Foaling Box and the hosts Dan and Polly are just great people.

We will be back for a break this year.

Had a lovely stay in Blossom Cottage. Not much interaction with the company itself but all managed well with good notifications. Great selection of cottages though

We absolutely loved our stay at The Coach House. The cottage was beautifully presented and the Estate Manager Geoff was wonderful and looked after us so well. We would highly recommend a stay at Netherby Hall in one of their properies and look forward to returning again sometime soon.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful surrounding. Very quiet and relaxing area. Cottage itself was great and dialogue with the owners was extremely helpful and friendly. The Round Lodge is a real credit to them. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially dog owners.

We had such a lovely stay at Dorfold Hall. The property was well supplied, very clean and super comfortable.

Communication was clear before during and after and we were made to feel very welcome.
