The afternoon tea on the Pullman was just amazing. The booking was so straightforward and the team at Luxury Train Tickets couldn't have been more helpful, particularly sorting out the numerous dietary requirements we had and sharing their own stories of their trips on the train which is really important when you are selling this type of experience.

The train was stunning, the food was delicious and the staff were wonderful. Such a shame some of the passengers didn't make more of an effort with dress code. Fleece coat, joggers, bobble hat. Outrageous!

The singers were a lovely touch.

We are already talking about doing another trip!

A great experience from first to last. It was a birthday present for my wife and certainly lived up to expectations. The organisation was brilliant and the staff were excellent throughout. We could not fault the food, drink or service on the train. If I have any constructive criticism it is that the initial welcome at the railway station was a little chaotic and crowded.

This was a trip to remember and was bought as a 70th birthday present for my wife..... on the journey to Bath we were so spoiled, the food was exceptional, the carriage was so comfortable and luxurious... the staff were fun, informative and helpful... very well done to all involved... perhaps some information on the website for connecting train suggestions and destination information might be useful..... but otherwise...... perfect.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. The train and carriages are fabulous and so nostalgic. You are made to feel special from the start and it continued throughout the day. The 5 course lunch was superb, the chef does a brilliant job in such confined conditions. Our staff on board, Danny and Jack were so attentive, personable and professional, they made the journey very special. We also had a few surprises with the singers who were excellent. A very memorable day which we hope to do again.

From the booking process, which was done over a year ago, to the day itself, it all went seamlessly.
When you book for a special occasion, which in my case, was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and my 70th Birthday, you want the day to be memorable, even if the British weather doesn't always go to plan. But nothing about the day disappointed - it was truly brilliant!
The staff couldn't do more for you from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.
They even helped with taking photos, so we had plenty to remember the day.
Everyone on board was in a party mode from when we left Victoria station on our way across the country to Bath.
The train and staff were impeccable, the food was plentiful and the drinks were free flowing. Nothing was too much trouble.
We met some lovely people on board that day and by the end of the day we were all sorry to say our goodbye's, as it felt like leaving family behind.
I cannot finish this review without saying a big thank you to all those involved in making this trip a wonderful day to remember.

We knew it was going to be a special day from the moment we arrived at Victoria Station.
There was jazz music, a singer, morning cocktails and a vintage photo set up - that was very popular with guests!
The carriages were beautifully restored and maintained and very comfortable for our day trip to Bath.
The meals, brunch and a 4 course dinner, were delicious and the drinks were free flowing.
What made the day extra special were the staff and other guests, as we were all keen to enjoy a fun day together.
Special thanks to Lucy for answering my initial questions and for arranging a certificate for me to print and give to my husband onboard (as we were celebrating his 60th birthday). It was a lovely touch and a great keepsake.
Overall it was an experience to remember and we’d definitely do it again.

Not only was the food and drink flowing and tasty, the banter with the staff was very relaxing and informative 100% satisified

Lucy was so helpful, I’d never booked this type of thing before and was keen not to miss out, she explained it all and let me know when I would need to book as well as discussing payment etc. I felt I could ask her for any additional information and they were great with sending info before the trip so I knew exactly what to expect. It’s such a special experience thank you for making it so stress free!

The tickets were bought as a present for parents and the feedback was glowing. An amazing day where they felt looked after and were treated beyond all expectations! Thank you for making their day special.

Wow, what a day to remember,incredible.
From getting on the train to getting off again was so memorable ,me my wife and two friends had such a good time. The food ,drink and the incredible service was at the top of the scale.
I could be here all night writing this but will end up here with,if your considering going then "please go ",you will not regret it.
This is a bucket list adventure that we will never forget.

What an amazing day we had on the Southern Belle, it was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. A surprise gift for my husbands birthday which he says was the best thing he has ever done. Food was amazing and every detail taken care of. We are looking to booking again in the near future, well worth the money. This was a surprise birthday present for my husband and he LOVED it! The booking process was great - thank you Lucy - with reassurance offered that my veggie husband would be well catered for (we both were, the food and drink offered was excellent) and the day itself was a joy from start to finish. The superb level of service before the trip and during from the friendly and accomplished staff in Audrey carriage made it worth every penny. I'd highly recommend taking a trip with Luxury Trains.

Wow what a day. It was a day we will never forget. From booking it up with Lucy who was so helpful to the end of the day. We can't fault a thing it was perfect. Meeting Raymond Blanc was the icing on the cake. We will be back. Thank you all so much.
