It was a Sunday morning and i was on call for the weekend. A tenant had contacted me informing the boiler was not producing heating or hot water. After attempting to represurrise I rang Magna whom answered promptly. They sent an engineer out same day and the problem was fixed leaving a the tenant with heating and hot water again. Communication was good.

I've always found Magna to be efficient, friendly and responsive. Even through lock-down they've been happy to help and flexible. My boiler works well, the team is knowledgeable and I have absolutely no complaints.

New boiler
Having recently updated my boiler that was 16 years old I thought I would write a review for Magna IM.
First of all the Magna website was easy to use and an online quote was easy to do, something some other local firms seem unable to setup.
The follow up phone call was quick and Danny visited my house the next day to carry out a free survey, Danny was very knowledgeable and came up with some solutions to certain problems left by the previous installation.
Two days later the installation started, Shane arrived at 08:00, plastic and blankets were put down to protect the floor, throughout the day I expected there to be a lot of mess from the drilling, but there was none, Shane and his apprentice were really clean, I overheard him sternly telling him to wipe his feet at the entrance several times and to make sure he was careful not to let the radiators leak on the carpet.
At the end of the first day Shane left almost an hour later than planned to make sure everything was ok for me, and the house was left immaculate.
Shane returned the next morning promptly to continue and finished around 15:00, again every thing was left immaculate and before he left he was keen to make sure I understood how to work the boiler directly and remotely using the iPhone app which he helped me install as I’m not very good with technology.

When It came to paying the bill Sharon was very helpful, and she was rapid at sending the documents I requested. Also helping with the information I needed regarding the 10 year guarantee.

COVID-19 was a concern however Magna applied safety measures wearing masks and gloves.

I EMAILED SHARON AT MAGNA ON JUNE 9 TO ENQUIRE IF AN ENGINEER COULD CHECK THE BOILER' PUMP EITHER ON MY DAY OFF JUNE 11 OR ON SATURDAY.
HAD A PROMPT REPLY TO LET ME KNOW SOMEONE WAS COMING ON JUNE 11
