Worth the Investment--a lovely home warrants a lovely mailbox
We had a really nice and heavy duty Victorian mailbox, but a contractor backed into it and ruined it. I shopped around and finally found MailboxWorks. FANTASTIC and varied merchandise, including the very heavy-duty, ornate, heavy metal Victorian Pedestal Mailbox that is similar to our old, destroyed one, but with added improvements of a large, locked "back" door and a labeled, bright, brass, front letter-slot cover ("LETTERS"). MailboxWorks.com shipped this straightway, much to the joy of our postman, Larry, and to our great joy, also. The mailbox is absolutely stunning, painted with an enamel-looking, forrest green. All of the hardware was included, although we did buy some additional hardware to sturdily affix the base to a concrete mailbox foundation. We used a hammer drill (1000x better than a masonry bit on a regular drill) and concrete expansion anchors made by Red Head. The box was installed well and securely with this system, and that took very little time.

Great Mailbox. Highly recommended
Bought a mailbox kit on the website. Mailbox kit was shipped and recieved in a timely manner. All parts were packed well. Assembly instructions were easy to understand. Mailbox was quality constructed. Went together perfectly without any problems.

Wished I'd of gotten the bigger one
The sign is nice but I sure wish I would have purchased the bigger size as this one is a little too small. I asked my husband before purchasing and he said the smaller address sign but it turns out I should have gotten the bigger one. All in all it's a nicely built sign and I would recommend.

Very well made product. The mail box and post was carefully packed. Received ahead of schedule date. This is my second time from ordering. The first one is still in great condition over the years. I just move is the reason for my last order. Well worth buying.

The mailbox is very well made and has a very attractive appearance. The installation was very straightforward and easy. The attachment of the cast aluminum plaques was done with adhesive material. My only concern was the longevity and effectiveness to hold these somewhat heavy objects over time. They can be screwed into place according to older instructions so that may be an alternative method of attachment. Overall very satisfied with the purchase and appearance.

One out of 3 pieces arrived weeks ago, still waiting for the rest...
Update, last piece arrived on 1/31 after getting all the pieces it's unclear how to mount, instructions (just pictures) suggest burying in gravel, but I bought mounting parts from the mailbox works, however using the supplied parts will expose either two bars at the bottom that seem meant to stabilize the mount in rock/soil or the holes where those bars go, so I probably end up setting it directly into concrete making the $78 flanges unnecessary - spoke to them on the phone and they promised install instructions from the manufacturer... still waiting.
