Looks great
I was looking for a yard sign that would make our address number visible from the street, simple and classy. I thought the 18” would look huge but it’s not, we have a pretty deep yard and it’s perfect.

Poor box construction
When you purchase a mail box that costs #350.00 you don't expect the rear section to begin to separate from the main body of the box. This is a beautiful box but I was very surprised to find that the box was siliconed together.

Mailbox is great quality
Mailbox is great quality. Solid steel, powder coated - great color and finish (I bought the dark brown one). I live in a rural area and pretty sure it would take a hit from a passerby. It is solid!
I bought a double on one post. They give you 3 keys for each box. Lock works great. Smooth as butter.
Shipping was good. Tracking update links worked good. The lead time reasonable.
I am happy with the mailbox and would recommend it to family and friends.

We love our new mailbox
We love our new mailbox. It actually replaced the same mailbox that was purchased 17 years ago. A mail carrier drove into it and needed to replace. We already getting a lot of attention in our neighborhood.

Super nice mailbox!!

Mailbox very nice BUT
Product was great except I expected the address plate and house number plate would not require me to "punch out" the holes in the mailbox. Should come with the holes alread drilled or the plates already installed. I am not handy and this became an issue for me. Too much money spent to not be predrilled or already installed before shipping

This is a very recent adjustment in Whitehall's door plaque installation method, and is designed to improve the longevity of the door plaque. We understand that some customers may prefer a different type of installation method, and we will certainly pass your feedback along to the manufacturer so they may take it into consideration as they continue to improve their products. If you would like adhesives sent instead we would be more than happy to provide assistance!
