Gibson Nighthawk 1998
Bought this rare guitar for what I think to be an excellent price. Really happy with this instrument. Quick responses over email. Minus 1 star because:
- the advertised tuning/check-up apparently didn't happen – frets are buzzing and truss rod cover was really stuck as if no one adjusted it in 26 years (not to mention recently)
- the guitar wasn't new as stated on the website (close to new but not new) – small dent and scratches.
The points above wouldn't have stopped me from buying the guitar. As I said before, really happy with it. Still, the points above might be important for some people so it wouldn't be fair to give 5 stars. Everything is great otherwise!

Max Guitar is the greatest guitar store I ever visited. And beleive me I am not a young man. Robert proposed me a couple of acoustic guitars and I have chosen a special Johnny Cash Martin D-35. It was delivered very fast to Hungary and perfectly packed. The guitar is not just beutiful but sounds great. Exactly what I expected. I just can offer Max Guitar for guitar players and lovers. And furthermore ... Robert speakes a lot of languages including Hungarian.😃👍

The Best of the Best in guitars and repair service and creativity to solve the problem. And useful tips to prevent coming to repairs. But Max Guitars is time we'll spend with an amazing collection and wonderful crew.

Another great buying experience at Max Guitar today. I THOUGHT I would be walking out with a Gibson 335 but with some well placed suggestions I ended up with a Heritage 535 and I couldn't be happier.

Apart from excellent prices, super fast delivery and well packaged items, all the staff I interacted with were helpful, friendly and super efficient. Happy customer here, good experience. If you have the opportunity, definitely visit the store in person. They have a great collection of electric and acoustic guitars, cabines to try them out, good prices and the salesmen are not the pushy kind. I was very happy to pay a visit and find "my" guitar!

Mijn oude gitaar ingeruild voor een mooie Martin gitaar. Prima uitleg en een stukje geschiedenis van de gitaar gekregen. Een prima winkelbeleving (met koffie) en een eerlijke prijs kunnen onderhandelen.

Bought a US Taylor Acoustic today. Perfect explanation and guidance by Wouter (Thanks again Wouter!). Made a good and fair deal as always. The profi place to be for serious guitar players. You won't regret it :-)

Hallo allemaal, ik heb gisteren al een review geschreven maar ik wil met name Robbert en Paul van Max Guitar heel erg bedanken voor de manier waarop ze mij hebben geholpen met het uitzoeken van een prachtige Les Paul Goldtop cs 7. Ik bracht een gitaar mee om in te ruilen en ik kreeg echt een superdeal van Robbert. Dus van mij krijgt Max Guitar een dikke 10 !!! Als je van plan bent om een gitaar of versterker en wat al niet meer aan te schaffen en iets in te ruilen hebt dan is Max Guitar the place to be!

Gebruikte Gretsch gekocht welke bij bezorging niet geheel goed was gezien afstelling en fretwerk
Na overleg mocht ik de gitaar bij de plaatselijke luthier laten repareren (robert Tappel)
Nu is de gitaar in perfecte staat en speelt als een zonnetje

Enorm goed geholpen met deskundig advies en een goede uitleg. Fijn personeel met veel kennis, top ervaring.

Laatst mijn gitaar laten afstellen door Paul. Een tijd geleden ook al een bas door hem laten afstellen en ik ben zeer tevreden met het resultaat. Vriendelijke service en goede expertise.

Bij Max Guitar vind je alles wat een klant nodig heeft om tot een goede keuze te komen. Door de combinatie kennis van zaken, eerlijk, duidelijk, klantvriendelijk en het nakomen van afspraken word je als klant heel blij. Ook als een deal niet lukt, weet je precies waarom en heb je daar geen vervelend gevoel bij. In mijn geval zijn we er samen uit gekomen.

Robbert, the store owner, is incredibly friendly and hospitable, well connected in the guitar world, and really knows his stuff. I drove all the way from Germany to trade in a guitar, and Robbert was extremely supportive all along the way, offering me a great deal and even helping me find a hotel. He even took time on his off day to wrap up the deal with me! The rest of the team were also very supportive and helpful.

Max Guitar has really beautiful gear available, such as Fender and Gibson Custom Shop guitars, Eastman guitars, but also more entry-level, budget-friendly equipment. They are also one of the very few Two-Rock dealers in Europe.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Max Guitar, it’s been a great experience and it’s definitely worth a trip.
