Very knowledgeable OH understanding and easy to talk too. Listened to my issues and great recommendations

I was referred to Occupational Health for the first time recently and I can not express how lovely I was treated. The lady who I had my appointment with was friendly, reassuring and knowledgeable, making me feel completely relaxed throughout.

Use MCL Medics after being off work for several weeks. Both the doctors referral and counselling services were professional and very thorough. It has made me feel more confident and supported in my return to work (as well as my employer, who can be assured they doing the best they can to support me as I recover)

Staff were great, in got what I needed and out no hassel.

Had 2 done by work and both were amazing. The detail of the questions, the probing of the issues and concerns and the final reports were high standard.
Most importantly the practitioners actually cared and clearly took their role in the process and their job very seriously. Very detailed, very thoughtful but most importantly. Very accurate.

I had a really positive experience with MCL Medics. I was triaged within 2 weeks of my initial enquiry and had my first online appointment with the counsellor the following week. Although we booked all the session times at the beginning, there was flexibility and I was able to move things around when my schedule changed. My counsellor was really knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. She listened carefully and offered useful tips and information to help with coping skills. She also emailed further information that she thought might help. I finished my 6 sessions feeling much more in control and able to cope.

My consultation was reassuring and understanding. I felt I was talking with an experienced professional with a specialised knowledge of the areas of my employment and workplace environment. I felt safe to discuss the truth of my situation. Afterwards I felt stronger and more able to deal with my health situation and relationship with my workplace. I felt understood and supported and was very glad of the restored confidence.

I found my counsellor Patricia to be very kind and gentle in her approach. She listened deeply and reflected in a way that felt thoughtful rather than intrusive. I can find it difficult to talk about things that upset me, but she created a genuinely safe space where I could share at my own pace.

During a very challenging and transitional time in my life, her steady weekly presence gave me somewhere to bring my worries and feel heard. She is a very warm and compassionate person.

Personally, I would have benefited from a bit more structure or a clearer sense of what each session might focus on, as I tend to respond well to that.

Overall, I’m very grateful for her support and would recommend her to others looking for a calm and caring counsellor.

Accessing counselling was straightforward and welcoming, which made taking the first step much easier. The sessions have provided a safe, confidential space where I feel genuinely listened to and supported.

My counselor is empathetic and insightful, helping me develop greater self-awareness and practical ways to manage challenges.

I found the whole process to be very quick, smooth and easy. I was triaged within days and video calling with my counsellor within a week. This programme was supported by my company as an Employment Assistant Programme. It was free to me, and the counselling I received really helped me. I would recommend this company. Had I not got on with my first councillor I could have changed at anytime, which is a great feature.

I had a great counsellor Trevor, who made me feel at ease from the beginning, easy to speak to and very reassuring, kind and empowering. I only wish the sessions went on for at least 8 weeks as by week 4 you start thinking about it all ending.
