Company is located in Pakistan , they claim they are in California. They 100% share your personal and medical information with other companies. I found them still charging my card long after i cancelled my treatment and cancelled my online account. They told me I cannot cancel my account and I agreed to share my information medical and personal when i signed up. This company is 100% committing fraud and steer clear from giving them your information. They refused to give me an international address so my attorney can write them.

Doctor's diagnosis and treatment plan was general information anyone can find on Google. No prescription and told me to use over the counter products that I had already used and listed on the questionnaire. They won't refund my money, gave me a credit that was less than what I paid originally for a future online visit even though I made it perfectly clear that I was unhappy with their service and would not be using it again.

MDLive will charge despite having insurance coverage for 100% of virtual medical visit. And they will do so repeatedly despite having full Cigna coverage info. Reviews of bbb.org reveals common fraud scam against many insured patients across USA. Avoid if possible, or expect to be charged out of pocket despite full insurance coverage.

Yesterday was supposed to be my first session with an MDLIVE therapist, but it was a complete mess. Ten minutes after the scheduled start time—with no one calling or connecting—I called MDLIVE to find out what was going on.
To my surprise, they told me my appointment had been canceled, but they couldn’t tell me when, why, or even who canceled it. Meanwhile, I had received multiple alerts reminding me not to miss the appointment, so none of this made any sense.
Then, in the middle of that support call, the therapist called me directly, apologizing for Internet issues. So… which was it? Was the appointment canceled? Was it running late? The lack of communication and coordination was frustrating and made an already stressful situation worse.
For a mental health service, this kind of disorganization is unacceptable. It made me feel like my time—and care—didn’t matter.

I found a therapist that I was able to work with online, and we had had a number of virtual sessions. But I needed to reschedule a session, so I tried to rebook it. They offered no options to rebook other than to give them wide open timeframes that didn't work. I have one available hour a day. MD Live, a company that employees therapists, refused to contact the therapist to ask for anything. They wouldn't tell her to call me to reschedule. They wouldn't call her to give her my schedule. They wouldn't call her to find out her available hours. The time that I spent creating a working relationship with this therapist is now wasted.
This is no way to run a mental health organization. They just made it worse.

I would give a zero but that appears impossible. I only needed a PCP to help me get New mask, headset and hose for my CPAP. What could go wrong? Everything. The provider never contacted me. Not in any way. Yet recorded that I was not available which is a lie. Never ever trust these guys with your care. They are not competent to even keep appointments. How bad would they mess up your care?

If I could rate MDLive with a negative star, I would. Multiple times we have called in to their services and they refuse to prescribe medicine and tell us to take a nose spray (which we do twice daily) and allergy medication (which we do daily) and an OTC for symptoms. They take their copay and continue on their way. The last time this happened to my husband, he went to urgent care after the phone call because he felt horrible and was convinced he had an ear infection (he explained this to the MDLive representative). Urgent care doctor said his ears were extremely inflamed and infected so they gave him multiple injections (ceftriaxone, methylpred, dexethoson and Ther/Proph) and a round of steroids and antibiotics. We called to try and get a refund of our co-pay from MD Live and they tell us that we should have followed their Doctors orders and there's nothing they could do. Unbelievable!!! DO NOT USE MD LIVE if you think you are sick!!!

DO NOT USE THEM!!!! I was sent to them by my insurance company and now I know why. I called them and gave them my info over the phone they verified it and then proceeded to get my debit card information for my copay. A month later they charged my debit card $89.00 claiming that it is because I did not have valid insurance, which I do have. After much back and forth I find out they had input the wrong information. After correcting the information they then proceeded to tell me the only way to resolve the issue was for me to file a claim with my insurance company, which I did. I got a statement from my insurance company and so I called MDLive to find out about the refund only to be told now that the only way they will issue me a refund is if I first get my insurance company to do a 3 way call with them and myself and second they have to resubmit the claim on their end.

Terrible Experience
MDLive should not be a company by any standard. It is the most dysfunctional, terrible experience I've ever had with a medical company in my life and no one should EVER have to use it.
I scheduled an appointment for a medication refill recently. It said the doctor sent the medication to my pharmacy but when the pharmacy got it, it still required AUTHORIZATION. Meaning some how, the drunk doctor never authorized her own refill. And I couldn't get it refilled any other way because when I called the stupid hotline for the stupid place, the person on the phone told me that I had reached the maximum refills even though the refill was never authorized to begin with. I don't know how this company has remained in service for so long but it needs to shut itself down immediately.

If i can give a zero I sure would. Tried to get clarification on medication instruction. Doctor told me one thing but then I get a Consulation Summary that tells me the complete opposite. Try to get clarification from the doctor has been extremley painfull. They'll send you a message and then stop communication so ther can be no reply from you.

I needed antibiotics for a sinus infection. I got prescribed a steroid, which is in no way helpful.
I am 48. I have had sinus infections before, and am aware of how they feel. Some "doctor" not listening is not worth the $89 I paid. Thanks for nothing .

I used MDLIVE for a 3 AM virtual visit because I was in pain and needed antibiotics urgently. I was told the prescription would be sent immediately to a 24-hour pharmacy so I wouldn’t have to wait for care.
Instead, I waited over 7 hours just to get the prescription sent — and when it finally was, the medication was prescribed in a form that my insurance didn’t cover. The pharmacy explained that capsules (which cost around $10) were covered, but MDLIVE had written it for tablets (which cost over $70). The pharmacist couldn’t substitute it — only the prescribing doctor could change it.
I called my insurance (Cigna), and they confirmed that only the provider can change the prescription — but MDLIVE’s doctor was completely unreachable. No call back. No email. No follow-up. Nothing.
At the time I’m writing this review, it’s been over 14 hours since my appointment, and I still don’t have a filled prescription.
This entire experience has been an exhausting waste of time and money. The provider was unprofessional, barely visible on screen, didn’t let me explain my symptoms, and the “After Care Instructions” just linked to a generic blog about insurance — not medical guidance.
MDLIVE failed on every level:
• Failed to deliver timely care
• Failed to ensure insurance compatibility
• Failed to provide a reachable provider for follow-up
• Failed to protect patient safety
I’ve requested a refund and was told it would take up to 45 business days. Frankly, I don’t think this company should be allowed to call itself a healthcare provider. I wouldn’t recommend MDLIVE to anyone — even in an emergency. Go literally anywhere else.

I wish I could give MDLIVE zero stars. I have a raging sinus infection and they could not give me any antibiotics. They said I had to have symptoms for two weeks before they could prescribe antibiotics. If I waited two weeks I would be in the hospital. I went to urgent care and they laughed when I told them what the MDLIVE Doctor said. I ended up getting a zpack, steriods and something for my cough. Seriously don't waste your money just go to urgent care.

One of the WORST DOCTORS EXPERIENCES EVER. Do NOT use this place. Now I have no more money to see my doctor and im missing work, and im getting sicker and I can't get treatment. These doctors diagnose you without seeing you and ignore your medical history. They will not listen to your concerns at ALL and are on a very high horse. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOURE BETTER GOING IN OR YOULL WASTE TIME AND MONEY!!

my insurance company sent me to them to get a referral for labs, they were unable to assist. They charged me as uninsured, even after calling with the insurance company to inform them I am insured, they have not addressed this, it has been 2 months, I did everything they requested, they are still charging me as uninsured and refuse to assist in the matter.

I wish I would have read these reviews before paying close to 100 dollars for terrible care and terrible service. The doctor was not at all checked in to the appointment and could have cared less. My plan of care treatment/medications did not work from the start, and they wouldn’t do anything about it, just said to go see a doctor in person. What is the point of going telehealth?! At one point I mentioned a condition, she goes ‘well I can’t see it so I don’t know’. Like what?! Ask for an additional pictures. Probably has to do this because she has failed at in person doctor care/sucks at being a doctor. Stay far away. It’s a money grab.

Horrible Customer Service ! I had to follow up on an Appt and could not understand the Rep who was in the Phillipines. Broken English and horrid grammar. He refused to transfer me to anyone. Called back..got a second rep in Phillipines with horrid English..He finally transferred me to a "Supervisor Line" that hasa 3 to 4 day wait for a return call. Look @date MDLive replied..6 months later and have me calling same number

Was not connected to a doctor after 2 hours of waiting this morning after continually being told that it would only be 5 more minutes. Finally had to cancel - my urgent care was able to get me in fine - but it’s disgusting that I couldn’t get any medical assistance with what I’m paying in monthly premiums.

Garbage! Complete waste of time and money. The doctors or whoever you talk to can only give you a doctor's note for so many times. A allotment. Really! Haha very funny. What a joke all they want is you money to waste your time. Not recommended and definitely don't spend your money on incompetence. They don't care only want money. Not a desire to help you with everything which includes a doctor's note for an excused absence. Please seek professional help elsewhere.

Scheduled an appointment with MDLive for a service that was listed on their website. Once on the call, they said they could not provide that service, but I was charged for the visit. I called MDLive to explain what had happened, but they refused to provide a refund. Had I checked the BBB website before making that appointment, I would have seen that MDLive is BBB rated F, which indicates the lowest level of consumer confidence in a business. I should not have trusted MDLive.
