I don't think it was a mistake that I should have expected better than average care with doctors within this network, but that is not the case. The first doctor misdiagnosed me and prescribed hundreds... Ver mais

This is NOT VIP healthcare
This is NOT VIP healthcare. It is simply a method to see a doctor in a fairly short period of time. They offer no additional health and wellness support on an ongoing basis. I joined because I needed quick access to a specialist. My VIP doctor had no pull over any specialists and was not even affiliated with a hospital. It takes several weeks to get an appointment. That is faster than my previous doctor. However, my VIP doctor has no idea who I am at each visit, does not listen at all to my medical issues and ends with everything's fine, see you in 6 months. I ended up flying to Europe for my operation. That's how bad it got.
Think again before joining this…
Think again before joining this Healthcare Industrial Complex outfit.
After four quarterly payments which met my contract obligation and informing them on my last $500 payment with written correspondence they continued to send me bills afterwards, 5 months now and 2 more bills with the same correspondence and it continues.
I will not answer their phone calls and listen to their crap.I informed them a couple months before the last quarter that the fourth payment would be the last as I found an other Dr who is more holistic and quite pleased with.
I was with a doctor for several years
I was with a doctor for several years, and changed to MDVIP to stay with her for almost 20 years. She was excellent and everything an MDVIP doctor is supposed to be. Caring, concerned, responsive, always available. I had no complaints ever. I would give her five stars plus!! Then MDVIP forced her to retire. Forced two women experienced doctors to leave the practice and replaced them with a young guy, who is not interested, looks at his watch the whole time he's in your appt., does not respond to messages. As soon as I find another doctor I will be leaving MDVIP.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed, Dr Jeremy Smith is right out of med school, took over his fathers practice....as a long time RN, I would say currently he needs more education and experience .MDVIP should not have doctors with less than 10 yr experience. My annual physical, i was not put in patient gown , notes reflected a lot of incorrect information which was vital for my health.
I'm not confident in his decisions on treatment, given incorrect diagnosis whereI did not need biofeedback I needed surgery which I had to find a provider and arrange.I am a long time RN, I had to manage my own care, find my own referrals as he is not familiar with area. I have complex medical issues which I felt he could not handle and I did not trust him.
I am not paying MDVIP to teach a doctor. I found a better doctor, no wait for appt and more experienced. MDVIP is a waste of money.
My PCP switched to MD VIP
My PCP switched to MD VIP. While the fee is high, I like my dr so much I went along with it. My dr kept his practice small and I get fabulous service. He sees me when I need him, they get me in to see specialists sooner if needed, he goes to battle with the insurance companies when they deem a procedure " not medically necessary " and look after my heath diligently and thoroughly. I have his personal cell number and in a couple of emergencies I have called him and gotten much needed advice.
In turn he has called me to check in afterwards to see how I was faring.
I see the negative reviews and it seems that unless you already have a relationship with a dr who then joins md vip it will be incumbent upon the you, patient, to vet the dr, the practice and the service to see if it will meet your needs. Like buying any expensive product extensive research is needed to be guaranteed satisfaction.
MD VIP was definitely not what I was…
MD VIP was definitely not what I was told it would be. The doctor could not refer or find doctors I needed and could not prescribe meds that were regulated, I spent two months trying to get back in, not 24 hours, and the doctor that I had always seemed confused the few times that I saw her. She would ask what the appt. was for. Asked questions that i had already supplied answers to. I got the impression that she might be on drugs at times due to her confusion. One time, she excused herself to talk to her kids and husband about something going on at home, then said sorry, you know how kids are. She was nice enough, but she did not seem like a Dr.. She told me she had an OB practice previously, but I learned she was a DO, not an MD, so I don't think that was accurate. I was told that she would communicate with all my doctors and be my one-stop medical expert and that was certainly not true. I would caution anyone about signing up for MDVIP without asking lots of questions. I quit in less than a year, but knew in the first 60 days that it was not what i was told. I regret not cancelling sooner.
MDVIP is a rip off
MDVIP is a rip off. Do not use this service. They promise you two visits for $2,150 and that you can cancel. If you receive one of the two visits, they will charge you the full $2,150. It's not worth the money. Save yourself some money.
My wife has MDVIP and I have a…
My wife has MDVIP and I have a relationship with a non-MDVIP doctor in the same office. We both get excellent care, but she gets much more personalized care and responsiveness to phone calls or request to be seen.
MDVIP middle man
MDVIP writes reviews for their doctors, who may have had failing grades in their education or not. It is simply a way to give non reported funds to doctor and certainly keep a chunk for themselves. Their program is nothing different from any online or in person wellness program. A doctor may send you to many other places such as nerve management, physical therapy etc... All the time billing medicare and part C advantage plans. Wealthy people conned to think it is something special. They pretend to like you to the very utmost, but don't know you. They hide their financials and simply an unnecessary, expensive out of touch group to promote and earn. Many facilities they send you to may give medications and if YOU forget to list them, might end up doing you harm. It's a facade.
Very poor services and policies
Very poor services and policies. Basically a blatant ripoff.
Stuck with a Doctor that I don't like for a whole year.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. They take your money for no benefit to you. They have incompetent and unprofessional customer service that lies to you which then causes financial harm. The only doctors that work with them do it due to their own financial issues because they cannot manage their own businesses. They claim you can cancel at anytime without issue then send you a bill. Worst company ever. Do not do business with them and do not trust any doctor that does.
They discriminate against seniors
Do not engage with this company or any provider who does.
I signed up in 12/2023. I saw the doctor 2 times. Very difficult to get in or follow up, multiple calls trying to get f/u. Found out this provider was dropped by my insurance after I paid MDVIP. I would then be considered out of network even though the provider could bill Medicare. Tried to get in the last month of 2023 to see if there would be any changes. I met one time in March of 2024. This was a consult about my Insurnace and how if it could work with MDVIP. I never received the wellness exam in 2023 or 2024. on 12/28/2023 MDVIP had done a autopay for $2,500. I was shocked to find out as it was done on a card I was not using. They sent no notice, the doctor did not mention it, most likely knowing I had already been charged knowing as a provider my insurance was not going to be accepted and she would not bill Medicare but is listed as a Medicare provider. Our state has Surprise billing laws. MDVIP is making false claims in the marketing and in their agreements. Which could amount to breach of contract. I am still gathering information for Medicare, State of Colorado and my credit card company. MDVIP called the provider and knows there were cancellations and 1 visit in 2024. They have considered prorating monthly and giving me my money back based on monthly payments up through July of 2024 knowing no services they claim have been completed.
Horrible treatment
We still had to pay for insurance, labs, $90 for every office visit and copays on everything. We were supposed to get “concierge” treatment but all we got was ignored and neglected. When we were unable to make the MDVIP payments for several months because of a $6000 bill due to that neglect, our doctor dropped us, even though we had been going to him for 30 years and had been paying for MDVIP for years. He not only dropped us at a time when we needed him most, but he refused refills of all of our medications even though he was aware that we wouldn’t be able to get in to see any other primary care doctor for almost a year, and cessation of some of those meds could be life threatening. It was incredibly irresponsible.
As a Long time Membermember for many years I have…
As a member for many years I have noticed a significant change in customer service. I have had issues related to payment, inaccurate information and confused management of my account. The tone of mailed correspondence has changed as well serving more as a collection agency. I remain because I enjoy my Physician very much and I appreciate his care. As an Agency MDVIP has disappointed. It is not that hard to be accurate and consistent with the management of patient accounts. They need new Admin
For 2,000 a year I get worse care than…
For 2,000 a year I get worse care than my previous doc who was 100% covered by my insurance. And I was unhappy with my previous doc, which is why I was willing to pay $2,000 a month for this. What a sham.
I wish I could give zero stars
I wish I could give zero stars. AVOID MDVIP!! I signed up, thinking I would be getting good medical care; there was a bad event at my doctor's office, so I wanted to try someone else. In a city of about 1 million, there was no other doctor available, just one with no openings. I wanted to cancel my contract but NO. So I spent $2100 on a couple of routine appointments - A WASTE!!!
If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would! This company is unbelievably nothing more than a scam! My 81-year-old mother has been a member for many years and was hospitalized three times this year due to the lack of medical attention from her so-called concierge doctor.
She obviously no longer wanted to use this doctor as he was not giving her proper medical attention or care. MD VIP would not let her out of her contract and charge her for an entire year when she did not receive services in the first quarter that were adequate, let alone, concierge level!, especially for older people!
All they want is your money and they do not care about providing the services they supposedly offer! They make no exceptions whatsoever when a doctor fails to meet their end of the contract! Disgusting!
MAJOR RIPOFF
What a complete scam
What a complete scam! The literature clearly claims you have 24 hour access to your doctor. My doctor did not respond to me on two separate occasions over a 5 month period. I cancelled the service and they still invoiced me for another quarter of payments because I had a wellness check up during the last year. So the Dr. doesn't live up to his end of the deal and I cancel but the Mdvip charges me for another quarter even though I have not received the other services that were promised from Mdvip. In summary, it makes no difference at all if they don't live up to what they promised you are locked into quarterly payments regardless according to the horrible agent at Mdvip I just spoke with. Great way of doing business. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE AS YOU CAN!
