I CANNOT sing the praises highly enough of the Meet Margo team, specifically the support I have received from Miranda. After finding myself needing to remortgage following a particularly challenging divorce, I had no idea where to start. It's years (decades) since I've had to take these steps on my own and having someone like Miranda who is so experienced, knowledgeable, patient and supportive truly kept me going when things seemed overwhelming. She gave me options and explained things fully, clearly and gave me time to process and make the right decisions for me. I've felt no pressure, only support and patience and confidence that we were in this together and Miranda was there to achieve the solution I needed, one which suited me - and she did! I am thrilled with the outcome and more confident about taking forward steps with my eyes wide open about my home and related finances. Thank you SO much, your professionalism, patience and kindness truly have made all the difference and my new deal is awesome too! I also love the app and tracking progress is a lifesaver when things are busy. Please keep doing all of your amazing work, Meet Margo and the whole team is a complete breath of fresh air!

Dan Bates' help with securing my mortgage as a self-employed, first-time buyer was life-changing.

Having been to four other brokers prior to finding Dan on TikTok (of all places!), I had lost hope in buying my first property any time soon. They had all instantly said they would not be able to help me due to me being newly self-employed.

Dan, on the other hand, was instantly positive about my situation and was sure he could help. He talked me through the entire process, ensured my application had a good chance of being approved with payslips and supporting documents galore. I found a property, had my offer accepted and was given a mortgage offer with Virgin Money. I was over the moon and Dan continued to contact me whenever rates reduced to ensure I had the best possible deal.

Sadly, my first property fell through (due to worrying works needed on the property).

Dan was incredibly supportive and did not mind at all, he simply told me to contact him when I had found another.

A few weeks later, I found another flat and began the process again. Dan worked speedily to get me a new offer on the new property and within weeks I had been approved again.

Today, 10 March 2025, I have finally completed! I couldn't have achieved my dream of buying my first home without the help and hard work from Dan Bates and I'll forever be grateful to him for going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. I've since referred him to several people (including my father) who are looking to purchase properties and would highly recommend him to everyone.

Booked an appointment 2 months in advance for a Saturday as the easiest day for me to have the time to chat everything through. I wanted to start the process as soon as I could (6 months prior to current deal expiration began to get ahead of the curve.)
Initial contact was smooth and the app is easy to use. I provided all requested details when prompted.
Prior to my appointment time I got all set up ready for the initial teams call, to which I received an email advising me Dan would have to cancel 15 minutes before the appointment.
I replied within a couple of minutes, but am still yet to hear anything back. A phone call would have been appreciated as emails aren’t always immediate and another appointment could have been booked there and then.
Not a good first impression and have now decided to go with another advisor

10/10 experience with Meet Margo. Katie our mortgage advisor is as always amazing and has been so helpful in assisting us with our mortgage and explained all the details to us and kept us updated along the way. After following meet Margo on Instagram for roughly a year when ready to purchase our first home we came straight to meet Margo for our mortgage. Both Dan, our broker and Paige, our case manager have been FANTASTIC. Both have been so responsive, approachable and knowledgeable with all our questions as FTB’s. I had a great initial call with my advisor, but felt the communication after that point could be improved. I was repaying my help to buy loan and remortgaging, but I found the advisor not able to answer my questions. I struggled to know which steps to follow for the paperwork which result in delays to the process. I would have expected a mortgage advisor to have dealt with my circumstances before. I probably wont be a returning customer.

The team that have helped me with my mortgage application have been simply brilliant and super friendly I can't recommend them enough! Katie has been the main advisor for my application and everything has been super smooth as a first time buyer and anything that i needed help with was responded to quickly and explained very clearly. Some of these responses coming in the evening showing their dedication to their clients! Thanks for all your help in getting me my first home!

Love the whole team at MeetMargo - from sorting out our insurance package through to a mortgage renewal (which was made more complicated thanks to Help to Buy being rubbish) nothing is too much for their expert team.
