Order #5178. Ordered items online and paid outrageous £20 delivery fee to receive the items by courier. 7 days passed and no contact or tracking details received. Emails and messages through their website totally ignored. Called them to find out what had happened to my delivery to be informed that there would be a long delay processing deliveries. Then they changed their story to my items being damaged by their courier (DPD). Totally incompetent business. Only thing they got right was the refund. Avoid this amateur outfit as my experience was not a good one.

Your order was placed on 15.06 and dispatched on 17.06, with tracking information automatically sent at the time of shipment. Unfortunately, the order was sent in three boxes, all of which were damaged in transit by the courier. We received your first message on Saturday and a second message on Monday morning. We responded on Monday morning and updated you as soon as we received confirmation of the damage from the courier. Once it became clear that we were unable to replace the damaged items, we processed a full refund immediately.
We pride ourselves on providing a high-quality shopping experience. In this case, we did everything we could to assist and keep you updated throughout the process.
We understand your frustration, however, the damage occurred while the order was with the courier. We believe this feedback would be more reflective of the courier service rather than the service provided by us, as we acted promptly to resolve the issue. Sadly the performance or lack of it from the courier on this one warrants the score.
The courier did apparently attempt to deliver the items though I have no evidence in the way of missed delivery cards, text or email to back this up.
I only became aware of the issues when the retailer issued a refund and I queried this with them.
So overall a bad experience on this occasion and the courier needs to up it's game going forward or risk losing face

We sent you a dispatch confirmation email on 03/06, the day your order was packed and shipped, which included your DPD tracking number. According to DPD, two delivery attempts were made, but both were unsuccessful. The parcel was therefore returned to us, and a full refund was issued for the items. We always do our best to ensure orders are packed securely, dispatched promptly, and accompanied by tracking information. Great service being the only hitch?
It was the first time I used the online store.
I was skeptical. I was hopeful, but skeptical.
Honestly? My experience was great. Ordered, and my one hitch was that it came earlier than I was expecting. Which would have been inconvenient if I wasn't available to get it.
