Extremely disappointed
Extremely disappointed. Supplied expired goods and then refused a return by citing a 14-day policy that ignores the Consumer Rights Act 2015 30-day right to reject. Avoid this seller if you value your consumer rights.
Reply to Mega retailer : This PR nonsense might work on the paid reviews you get, but anyone taking a close look at your genuine one- and two-star feedback can see exactly how you operate. Stop using DPD and your terms and conditions as a shield to avoid taking genuine accountability for your poor service.
It is basic business sense that retaining a customer is vastly cheaper than acquiring a new one. Thanks to your stubborn refusal to resolve this properly, you haven't just lost one customer today, you have just lost four: Shariful Alam Ullah, the staff at Pride of Sylhet, John Malone, and David Dansbury.
You guys need to take a long, hard look at your customer service practices and start treating people with actual respect instead of reading off a corporate script.

We fully respect and comply with consumer rights and legislation. Once we received your message raising concerns about the best‑before date of the item, we responded promptly.
The product was past its best‑before date, and this information was clearly advertised on our website at the time of purchase. Purchasing such items is entirely optional, allowing customers to make an informed choice before placing an order.
We understand that the customer may not have noticed this information at the time of purchase. For this reason, we offered a return on two separate occasions during our email conversation. Unfortunately, those return options were not taken up at the time. By the time a return was requested, the 14‑day period allowed under our Terms & Conditions and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 had already passed.
As previously explained, the item supplied matched the product description and was sold at a discounted price reflecting its best‑before status.
We always aim to resolve concerns fairly and remain open to constructive communication. If the customer wishes to discuss this further, we encourage them to contact us directly so we can review the matter again.

Branded cleaning products half price
Got a lot of cleaning products half price but, check bulk orders carefully as I had 3 air fresheners missing. They also have introductory prices on some products so, the price increase later on.

I have bought from many a discount online store and I have never seen more careful and exceptional packing. There were no breakages,it didn't feel like someone was throwing stuff in to the boxes from the other end of the room causing breakages and chrushing food items. I am super impressed, I actually felt like a valid customer when I received the goods. The products are as described, delivery and dispatch we also good. Thank you guys l! It's the little things that make the difference and you did the little things incredibly well!!!

Misleading Dates and Poor Quality Food
Very disappointing experience.
I ordered Nido milk powder where the website listed a “best before” date, but the tins I received were marked “EXP” on the base, which is confusing and misleading.
The product was already 8 months past that date, and when I used it, the milk smelled and tasted off, so clearly not of acceptable quality.
Customer service insisted it was still “safe to consume” and refused to cover return postage, despite the quality issue. They relied on their terms and conditions rather than taking responsibility.
Selling food in this condition and then dismissing customer concerns is not acceptable. I would not recommend buying food products from this retailer.
Hiding behind terms and conditions while selling substandard food is unacceptable. Very poor customer service and I would not trust them again.
