From first consultant appointment Anna was friendly , professional and very helpful.At every appointment she makes a point of checking how everything is going and have a friendly chat.Always met with a friendly happy smile from all the staff, which is so welcoming after the 2 and a half hour drive to Harrogate.The trips have been worth it though as my hair has nearly completely come back ,still few treatments left but I am very happy with the results.Would recommend to anyone who is having hair loss problem,all the treatments were thoroughly explained and I feel that the cost was reasonable great team doing a great job.

I recently had a FUE hair transplant and over the moon with everything so far.

Had been wanting a hair transplant for years so decided go ahead with it. I got 3 consultations from clinics in the Leeds/Manchester areas and MHR in Harrogate was the one that I picked.

Anna the consultant at Harrogate made me feel at ease, was very professional and was clear with what the procedure would entail. She also answered all questions I had, especially questions regarding minoxidil and finasteride which I’m now using the topical sprays that are helping.

The transplant I had was performed at the Knutsford clinic which I also have no complaints about. The procedure went smoothly and efficiently, was very organised. Gillian the surgery manager dealt with my pre and post surgery questions and concerns. Big shout out to Dr Kunnure and the technicians as they did a wonderful job.

Two weeks have pasted now, been back to the Harrogate clinic for a check up and everything is healing okay. Very happy to have had my hair transplant at MHR as they have done a great job and excited for the results!

I have just completed a 12-month programme of Low-Level Laser Therapy with MHR Clinic - Harrogate. The results are beyond my wildest dreams and the whole process has been handled with great professionalism, kindness and consideration. Anna and Natalie who run the operation at Harewood, near Harrogate, are super friendly and really want to make sure their clients are happy and comfortable with the process they are going through. They will answer any questions you have, and nothing is too much trouble for them.

I initially visited MHR in September 2024. I was suffering from thinning hair on my crown and a gradually receding hairline. I wasn't sure that there was anything wrong with the hair that wasn't thinning - it seemed ok at the time.

The treatment itself is very simple. You go along once every fortnight or so to sit for 40 mins under a kind of cap that emits laser therapy onto your scalp. It does not hurt or feel of anything at all. I just sat there working on my laptop - there's free Wi-Fi. As well as the laser therapy, I was prescribed finasteride to take every day along with some herbal supplements. Although they offer different treatments such as transplants, they did not try to sell me anything I did not need and were confident that the laser therapy and meds would do the trick.

Results after 6 months were really positive, and I felt much better in myself as my confidence increased just due to my hair looking fuller and better.

After 12 months of this treatment, my hair has been transformed. Hair has regrown on the crown and is much thicker. It's also thickened on the temples and part of where it had previously receded. The remainder of the hair (which I previously thought was ok) has also thickened, changed colour and is much healthier than before. I was thinking I would need to go down the shaved head route at one point. Now I am growing my hair longer than I have in years. I am absolutely delighted! I will need to continue with the meds and supplements but by doing so I will continue to have a full head of hair to be proud of.

I became very self conscious of my thinning hair and receding hairline. My hairdresser is brilliant but was unable to come up with a solution. I found the MHR clinic and my hair is thicker and much easier to manage.
I have the bonus of enjoyable visits and time with kind and helpful staff in Harewood. Nothing is too much trouble.

My son has been attending the Mhr clinic in Manchester for the last 12 months doing LLLT treatment and I can honestly say it was the best decision made. Easiest way to put this is life changing. I struggled with my hair as an 18 year old loosing my natural hairline and my corners going back at such a young age. Confidence lost and wearing a cap non stop. Didn’t want a hair transplant so I asked MHR what the best solution was. They greeted me with open arms where every staff member was welcoming and so nice, especially dean where it was like seeing your mate every time you went back. I got the red light treatment which was completely safe to do. I took certain pills with no side effects and now my confidence is at an all time high. In 2024, I had an initial consultation at MHR Clinic Harrogate and was pleased to learn that a hair transplant wouldn't be necessary. Instead, they offered a less invasive treatment option, which was a huge relief. Although I was initially apprehensive about the year-long treatment plan, the beautiful drive to Harewood Estate and the ample parking made it manageable.

Initially, I was concerned when my consultant and the receptionist resigned shortly after my treatment began. However, these worries were quickly dispelled with the arrival of Anna, the new permanent consultant. Anna is incredibly knowledgeable, positive, and supportive, always bringing a touch of humour to the clinic. She has created a warm and welcoming atmosphere and is a true asset to MHR.

Anna is assisted by Natalie, the receptionist, who is both friendly and efficient. Together, they ensure that every visit is pleasant and reassuring. Their support has made my hair treatment journey much smoother and more enjoyable.

As I near the end of my 12-month treatment plan, I am pleased with the results and only wish I had discovered MHR earlier. The team has been pivotal in making this personal and sometimes challenging journey a positive one. I wholeheartedly recommend the Harrogate MHR Clinic to anyone considering hair treatment.

I’m mid 40s and was seeing signs of hair loss, never had a thick head of hair so it was getting noticeably thinner. It took me a while to decide whether to ‘age gracefully’ and head down the bald man look or to try and make good what hair I had. Eventually, I decided to take a consultation at MHR Harroagte, initially to look at their FUE service where they extract follicles and transplant but after their expert advice, decided to go with the hair regeneration approach.
There’s two fantastic women running things at Harrogate, Anna and Natalie. They both seem to always be there, smiling, enthusiastic and professional. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience which is reassuring and in the six months I’ve been going there for the fortnightly treatment, they’ve both been so welcoming. You get to a stage in your life when you’re hair isn’t as good as when you were younger. But you don’t have to live with it and let nature take its course. You don’t even have to take the obvious course of action first, which is a hair transplant.
There is a much easier less invasive treatment now available. ( And it’s far less expensive )

Brilliant results, amazing setting and perfect staff, what more could anyone want when seeking out hair loss treatment. I feel like a different person to the one who first walked through the door at MHR Harrogate, full of confidence and looking toward a happier future ahead of me. My life has been turned around with the expert advice and treatment of my hair, not to mention the enthusiastic support and general life coaching I receive from Anna at each appointment! Since commencement of my treatment, and with no small amount of encouragement from Anna, running has become an essential part of my life and wellbeing and I even managed to complete the Leeds Marathon this year in aid of that other inspirational figure Rob Burrow. Took me a while to seek treatment for female hair loss & just wished I’d started my course of laser therapy sooner !.

I was anticipating needing a hair transplant but Dean advised not necessary as LLT + topical Minoxidil + DHT herbals would give me an improvement as I had typical androgenic alopecia (female pattern baldness)

Having lost all my hair to chemotherapy many years ago + early menopause (hormone issues) to then having hair loss years later it really dented my confidence & I hated how I looked.

I’ve had a really good result with MHR & the difference in hair coverage is great. I feel less self conscious & would absolutely recommend MHR & the team. All very friendly & helpful. I did the 8 x month course.
