We're sorry that you didn't pay attention to the emphasized text right next to the check out button that you used, which clearly stated that your shipment was coming from overseas. We're transparent and very up-front about that, so no, it isn't hidden information. We even explain where we ship from and why on our FAQ page. If you wanted the timepiece quickly within a few days when ordering during a long holiday weekend, which happens to be the one time of year when all shipping services tend to get flooded with a deluge of orders so delays can occur, no matter if it's national or international, we're nonplussed that you only opted for the free shipping instead of expedited shipping, and that you didn't check with us first before ordering to check if you could receive your order within just a few days, since we could've pointed out how unrealistic that would be, or even ask where we ship from.

For the record, we're a US corporation that pays US taxes, we're 100% owned by a US citizen, who maintains a residence in the US, and also pays US taxes, and your payments are made in US dollars that directly go in to our US bank account via the Shopify service we use to host our web site, so no, you are not paying to a different economy, and you also didn't pay top dollar here either. The price you paid for your timepiece happens to be the lowest price it was and currently is available at anywhere.

Normally our US customers can expect to receive their watches within 5 to 7 days door to door. It's 2 weeks exactly since we shipped to you, and the watch cleared US customs at the end of last week, so it looks like there was a delay there between international shipping and customs processing. However, we're glad to see that you have your package now since it was delivered and signed for today.

If you're looking to keep an eye out for new listings when we add then, it can be worth following us on Facebook or Instagram, since we post about them there, and subscribing to our newsletter. We don't spam and send no more than 12 newsletters per year, (our average is less than half that,) and we do have an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter too.

We opened a couple of new listings yesterday, and will have some more later this month, as well as a big release in January.

Customer is reviewing a different watch sent from a different business that has nothing to do with The Microbrand Store, so we respectfully request that this review be deleted and the rating removed.

Ms. Esmeralda wrote this review on September the 18th. We've been carefully tracking the shipment of the watch she ordered from us, and it is due to be delivered to her later today on September 21st, so she doesn't yet have our timepiece. When it arrives we of course hope that she enjoys wearing it.

Please also note that her review talks about a wave pattern watch, and a watch that is supposed to have blue lume on the dial according to a picture in the listing. The watch she ordered from us is nothing like that. It does not have a wave pattern, and the pictures in our listing clearly show that there is no blue lume on the dial, only the green lume, which is also carefully explained in writing in the watch specifications.

We've not misrepresented any facts, and haven't give you a misleading response as you've stated. All the information we provided while trying to assist you in the response you're replying to was entirely factual and accurate, and we always endeavor to be up-front, informative and candid with all of our customers, so we're not sure why you would state this. We also did not try and make it sound like the watch arrived in a few days. In fact we instead explicitly stated exactly how long things took. Please see our earlier response:

Our understanding of the situation is as follows:

1. Prior to your ordering your watch, we clearly informed you in emphasized text right next to the checkout button you used that this would be an international shipment. We also state exactly where we ship from in a number of easy to find places on our web site such as on our Frequently Asked Questions page: https://microbrand.store/pages/faq. We're sorry if you didn't pay any attention to the information that we provided to you, and can empathize with that, but at the same time, we've taken pains to inform you and make it clear to everyone ordering a watch that the shipping is international, in an effort to be as up-front as possible.

2. You chose the free international shipping option rather than paying a subsidized price for our expedited shipping via a courier service such as UPS. Assuming there are no delays, the door to door times to your locale for our free shipping option are typically between 4 to 7 days, and once shipped, your package first arrived at your address 5 days later. We don't think this is in any way slow shipping, so will respectfully have to disagree with you here.

3. Your order was received by our office on a Friday, and as previously mentioned, we ship either the same business day or next business day. Unfortunately, since the order wasn't for expedited shipping, and because we have to test every watch we ship right before shipping, including full functional tests and running on a timegrapher, your order went out the next business day which was Monday. (Sunday night your time.) If you'd have opted for expedited shipping, first you'd have been bumped to the front of the queue and secondly we could've also shipped on a Saturday since UPS pick-ups can occur then, so your watch would've gone out on the Friday or Saturday at the latest. With the option you picked, shipments are not accepted by our free shipping service during the weekend. Given that we spend some time testing each watch, (a huge plus for our customers since almost all stores, including Amazon, do not typically do this,) and we're a small family-run business, and not say a business like Amazon with 24 hour warehouse staff, the turn-around here was, we feel, very good, with it being the next business day. This being said, you could've shaved a couple of days potentially off of the total time from ordering to receipt if you had opted for the faster shipping option.

We're of course mortified that you are disapointed with your experience as do we strive very hard for quick turnarounds and a quality service, both of which we feel we've provided to you here. We don't want to be drawn into a back and forth argument or cause any further upset, so will make this our final response on this matter, as we do sincerely hope that, now you have your timepiece, that you enjoy wearing it.
