I was very skeptical about online classes as I’m not tech savvy. But after seeing Alanna and hearing her speech on the webinar, everything she said really resonates with me. So I took the chance and enrolled in the YTT 200hr program. Joining this TEAM was the best decision I ever made. This online platform is great! I have the flexibility to take this journey anywhere with me, on my own time, my own space, and at my own pace. I’m able to do everything that is required on my smartphone. I am learning so much from this program. Alanna is a brilliant Teacher. She is great at breaking things down to make it easy to understand. The Mentors are very knowledgeable, and supportive with all their feedback on assignments. They are easy to reach out to and quick to response to students’ need. I am so blessed and grateful that I found Alanna Kaivalya. I’m currently progressing through my 200hr program. Once completed, I’m planning to deepen my knowledge further with the 300hr program.

Program too difficult to navigate and unclear on what needs to be purchased. I bought all the texts for 500 hour but signed up for 200. The manual which I bought also, is really just an outline...feel like I'm teaching myself. Downloaded and paid for anatomy app, and had password, but unable to open. Purchased several anatomy books bc videos don't discuss the depth needed to understand. All in all, wasted money I did not have and now feel like a failure. Worst part is, I have a lot of yoga background, have taught a little, practice daily plus Kundalini, reiki certified, read tarot cards and runes. With the Covid I can't get help with all the be tech stuff like having a you tube account. Don't understand why we can't submit videos via text or email. Very saddened by the whole thing. I was so excited to finally get my chance at certification....and I dragged my sister into buying and now we both unable to navigate. Guess it's for the under 40 generation. My path must be different.

Great experience with the TKYM. I will highly recommended! The course, the community and the support from the mentors was very helpful on this journey to be able to get my certification as a yoga teacher.

I’m so pleased with the coursework so far. The material is so organized and thorough. The teachers and mentors are very accessible and provide such valuable feedback. I feel like I’m learning so much and growing in my practice. I feel like Alanna is my friend even though we’ve never met. A wonderful course!

So far I have felt very welcome and everything about the course is explained clearly. This is a very accessible way to obtain a yoga teaching degree from home.

The videos have been helpful but the anatomy module could use more repetitive anatomical language when teaching the material instead of layman's terms.

I chose a 5 because when I had a question it was answered in a short time and expecting longer.
I ordered my book. I received to book with in a couple days.
The information about Yoga Aliance is transparent with an explanation that made a decision to go with the course. It’s is still a learning environment.
I am not really anywhere I could teach.

I am a current student in the 500 hour training. Never in a million years did I imagine finding a yoga teacher training that would be so thorough, so comprehensive, diverse, inclusive and supportive. My mentor has been amazing the entire time and I am grateful for him and all of his feedback. Alanna has taken care and love in building her program and her community shows it.

I am learning so much and mostly about the invisible subtle aspects of yoga. Many things are embedded into the meaning of yoga, the structure and intention behind the poses and breath. I am motivated to keep moving along this path with the guidance and great feedback from the mentors. I'm thinking this is the best yoga method out there and I feel confident I'm being taught by the best of the best. Thank you for the purity of the lessons as I can feel the grace working through all of the mentors as they challenge me to be a better yogi.

Very easy to follow and the course, so far I have really enjoyed. I love learning about anatomy and how yoga can be used as a strengthening and soul discovering tool.

Alanna Kaivalya gives a very thorough and very clear explanation of the facets of yoga and yoga instruction. I feel as though I understand “why” we do poses, sequences and cues in our yoga instruction.

You are only taught that teaching can be done with verbal cues. If you want to be the kind of teacher that wants to teach by doing some of the postures from class then maybe this isn’t the teacher training for you. I wish that there was more feedback from mentors and more community. Weekly calls with Alanna or one of the mentors would make this actually feel like Im in a teacher training. There’s great content, just not what I was expecting from a yoga teacher training.

I’m amazed at the content and depth of the studies in the program. It’s challenging, but oh so rewarding.

Amazing experience! Overall great communication with the teachers - fast response- helpful with any question or frustrating topic I was going through. I enjoyed the 500hr experience and would recommend it to anyone who wants a full in-depth teaching course.

I love the video teaching by Alanna and ability to self pace!

This is a wonderful program all-around—an excellent combination of academic rigor and heart-felt encouragement and support. I’m very impressed with the materials and trainers. Highly recommend.
