Ordered on line on Friday 28/11 and was contacted promptly and delivery was confirmed for a. m. following Monday. 14:30 on Monday called to ask when I can expect my delivery, was told that my order was not picked. Promised an AM delivery on the Tuesday, guess what 12:00 passed and no delivery! Called and cancelled the order. Got a call back to transact the refund with apologies for the poor service and they hoped that I would use them in the future, ( you’re ******* joking). Called Travis Perkins immediately and had the items 2 hours later and cheaper. And no I’m not promoting TP

Hired a Dragon Concrete Crusher from the North Walsham depot this weekend, fantastic piece of kit recycled concrete waste into useable crush materials. Great advice from the branch, the driver demonstrated the product, including key safety features, no question was too much!

Equipment was low hours and in excellent condition, not the cheapest tool to hire but overall saved money by recycling waste into usable materials that would have cost more to remove and then buy in from merchant.

Well done MKM and staff at North Walsham hire desk.

Never again will I use mkm, I had a door delivered and it’s damaged but because I have had it a month before I could get it fitted I’m not entitled to a refund.

They are quite good with supplies and pricing . But countless times stop them from sending advertising text but they don’t stop. Beware before you give them your information. Once they have your number in their system then you can’t stop them

Two orders in a row and both were unreal. First time I ordered at 11 and it was delivered by 1. Today I called at 11:30 and the new load was on my drive by 12:20. Less than an hour.
MKM’s service is consistently rapid, reliable, and spot-on every time. Can’t fault them — absolute top-tier supplier.

Would be extremely careful around their drivers/ lorries. One hit my car back in March, manager at the Honiton branch was not a pleasant man & even laughed in my face & denied the incident had happened despite admitting the driver had previous "accidents" & there being a witness + significant damage to my car. Claimed there conveniently wasn't any cameras/ dash cam on that particular lorry (but others do!) & still won't accept liability 8 months later. Have also spoken with someone else local to me who had a family member who's car was also hit by an MKM lorry.

As a disabled person I am able to buy certain items VAT free. I am converting my bathroom to be wheelchair friendly and have had no problems obtaining VAT free items for this. MKM have refused saying that they won’t do this and I should reclaim the money from the VAT people, this is not allowed as I pointed out to them. Another well known company Topp Tiles has said there is no problem, and if I provide the relevant form they will happily refund theVAT.
Very poor from MKM making no effort to help the disabled.

Went to our local MKM for a new kitchen, sat and worked with them over multiple visits on the design and they recommended a local joiner to install.

We placed an order but were asked by MKM to pay the joiner for the whole kitchen, not them. Didn't really think anything of it but it became very important later.

We had multiple MKM issues with the wrong doors and worktops being delivered that delayed our kitchen by two months.

In the end, we were so frustrated at having no working kitchen we complained to MKM. Their response to us was "go away because you are not our customer, the joiner is". We were utterly shocked at how we could spend five figures on a kitchen and be treated like this, we'd been forced to order through the joiner by MKM, we hadn't chosen to. A new kitchen represented a major investment in our home and it should have been a wonderful experience. MKM made us miserable. Won't be giving MKM a penny again.

Where do I start, went into MKM in Macclesfield to look at a new kitchen, after being recommended by a friend. Was dealt with by a staff member called Rob, Though he was very helpful in selling us a new kitchen, we just occurred one problem after another. Over four months down the line we was offered a paltry £400 discount ( which WE had to pay £380of that to the kitchen fitter and an electrician- due to faulty goods ) MKM just wanted to pass the blame on to the kitchen manufacturers ( but of course it’s not them ) So £20 up I thought I’d give an honest review of the treatment me and my wife, who MKM had in tears twice, from either wrong stuff being delivered, damaged good, faulty oven, incompetent, finding the delivery just left outside of the house in broad daylight with so much as a knock at the door or a ring of the bell.
I’ve gave MKM 1 star, if I could it would be a zero. So much more I could add to this list.
If I could offer any advice- AFFORD AT ALL COST.

I would like to give this company more than 5 stars from my husband and me, choosing the shower and cabinet, fixings, etc, quality was excellent as we are in our 70s, upgrading our bathroom, and the helpful advice from the 3 lovely ladies in the Carlisle store was just brillant. Delivery was excellent from Luke, who carried items up the 13 steps, so we wouldn't struggle was very helpful thankyou to all.PS would recommend this company brillant service.

I ordered a bulk bag delivery at a very competitive price from MKM Glasgow (also getting free delivery) and the whole process was great. Arranged a delivery day and put a delivery instruction on the order and once the loader arrived he was very friendly and literally dropped the bag exactly where I asked him to. A fantastic buying/delivery experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend using MKM.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend MKM Building Supplies. Paul, Martin, and the whole team are outstanding — nothing is ever too much trouble. They’re always friendly, helpful, and even went above and beyond to find me a plasterer when we were let down. Great prices, excellent service, and consistently efficient. I wouldn’t buy from anyone else!

Bought some “plastering” sand from them - dreadful stuff, more grit than “grit sand”! Washed 2 bags of it because I had to get the job done, & got a “brick’s” worth of grit/gravel out of it. Trading Standards should really take a look at it!

my second visit to barnsley store and again 5 star service from form the show room department and the warehouse big shout out to pete,mark and ashley who loaded my car and also provided me and my daughter with the good old barnsley banter these 3 were fantastic very pleasant and good at there job I hope there always there when I visit Thanks guys it was another pleasure

I purchased a kitchen from leamington spa. Rebecca was fantastic, was always there to answer queries and reassure me of my decisions. She was very polite and very friendly and always had a smile. The kitchen is fabulous well made great quality and comes all made up. Couldn't fault it or the process of buying. Definitely recommend. 👍
