Horrible watch I was disappointed when I bought it

If I could give Moochies zero stars, I would. This company has proven to be nothing short of a scam. Despite having clearly ceased operations and entering what appears to be insolvency, they continue to withdraw monthly subscription payments from customers — with no service, no support, and no accountability. Moochies appears to have ceased operations, yet continues to deduct monthly subscription payments from customers. The company is no longer contactable — support channels are unresponsive, and emails go unanswered. Attempts to cancel subscriptions through the website or app are unsuccessful.

In addition, the company’s listed address is now returning as “not found,” suggesting they are no longer operating from any known premises.

This behaviour is highly concerning. Customers are being charged for a service that is no longer being provided, with no means of recourse or communication. This has been reported to the ACCC for investigation, and others affected are encouraged to do the same.
Avoid Moochies at all costs. If you’re currently a customer, check your bank statements and take immediate steps to block future payments. Moochies should be held legally accountable for this behavior.

I have had to cancel my credit card to stop the payments from paper kut As we tried to cancel the subscription two months ago and they never have cancelled it and have charged us both months for nothing. Even when we had the watch activated it was hot and miss . What a garbage product and company. Run a mile from this mob.

I bought this watch for 399 AED from dubai airport. I was told that I will be able to use this watch in india. I am not able to use the watch and the app is also not available on Google play store

Not worth the 1 star, I as other users have been attempting to get direct debits stopped after cancelling plan over 5 months ago. Absolutely appalling especially during a financial crisis. Never reply to emails and no phone number available to contact. 100% wouldn't recommend wasting your money.

Not even deserving of one star! I have sent over 10 emails so far trying to contact moochies to cancel the plan that has never been activated yet i have been charged month on month. No reply from anyone for the past 7 months. Have emailed help@moochies, followed the sim cancellation process, emailed simcancellations@moochies, emailed sims@moochies and still no reply! How is this company still in business!!!

The service was bad. Moochies watch wasn't working properly, and the app was laggy, so my son stopped using it. But the company still getting payment off my bank account for 18 months. I didnt know this until recently my son wanted to use his watch again. I tried reconnecting and even scanning the code but nothing happened. So I went online and checked how to do it and found reviews that are mostly negative. So I went to check my bank account and there I found that they have been getting money off my account for something I didn't use. IT'S A SCAM!!! BEWARE DON'T BUY.

-Edit- to stop payment try (if you use this) disconnect apple pay from your card. wait 3 to 4 days. the token will be renewed and no more payments can be done to them.

Don’t not use this company. They say no lock in contract but you can’t cancel anything as they don’t reply!

If i could give negative stars i would. Been trying to contact the company for over two months to obtain assistance with setting up the watch as it didnt generate required code for connecting to the app. Ive still not heard back from anyone and continue to send emails. My son got the watch for his birthday and has not even been able to use it as initial set up wont work.
There is no contact number to call and only one email address which you get an automatic response back from the first time you email and then nothing after that.
Even tried to return the item as doesnt meet product guarantee and again i can not get in contact with anyone to do so. so its been a complete rip off buying this product.

DO NOT BUY A PRODUCT FROM MOOCHIES.

Had my moochie for 3 months , never worked properly, couldn’t hear my daughter during calls , GPS was way off and was being charged double the monthly plan amount every month even after emails being sent multiple times , in the end I have to get my bank to stop the payments, waste of money , trust me get your kids a phone with no net save your selves the drama

Really disappointed in Moochies.
Purchased watches from big W for my children for Christmas.
One would not turn on at all. Took it back to big W and they were recalled.

I then contacted Moochies via email as it is the on way you can contact them. This was 3rd Jan requesting my 2 Sim plans be cancelled.
No reply ... So I just hoped it was all ok . I waited the 5 business days which came up after my request was sent.
I then contacted on the 11 Jan again requesting my plans to be cancelled.
Nothing... Possibly just an automated email but no other contact.
Again on the 19 I contacted Moochies as I had had a request to take out a payment . Again asked to have my plans cancelled. No contact.

My husband has also tried to email requesting plans to be cancelled.

I then emailed again as I had payments taken out on the 19th and 24th for Sim plans I do not want and wish to cancel.

I have now also emailed on 27th Jan
Again requesting cancellation of 2 Sim plans and requesting funds to be returned.

I really didn't want to get to the point of leaving a review but I don't know what else to do.

Had the watch for over a year and had constant problems with it and the app never working as it should. Finally decided to cancel the subscription after months of not using it due to all the issues. I've emailed multiple times, filled in the form on the website and yet still they keep taking money from my account. Had to lodge a dispute with my bank to try and get the money back!

This is been the poorest service I have came across. Bought this item for Christmas and problems getting set up, Email to them and no reply . II am getting in touch with the supplier for a refund

Great service & really good at billing. Have cancelled multiple times or tried too! Over a year of charges for a phone/watch that doesn’t work. I want the plan cancelled & my money refunded. Shouldn’t be this hard

The watch did not work. No connection at all.
They never refunded my money or responded to my emails.
They are still trying to take money from account each month.

I was lucky to get a refund from big w but moochies have been a complete failure in every aspect.

DO NOT buy a moochies watch!
It has been the biggest waste of time and money! I have 3 for my children and they have barely worked while I have had them.
Cancelled my plans back in August 2024 and yet I am still being charged for one of the plans (which has never worked in the time I have had it) despite many many attempts to cancel it!
Customer service is a joke!

Worst product on the market, can not contact anyone within the business!!!

They are very good at taking your money each month for a product that doesn't work.

We have cancelled our sim, subscription, account and still they take money out for a product that has never worked.

DO NOT BUY! I have been trying to cancel my subscription and I cannot get a response from the company. It has been three months and they have billed me three times since!! They just keep taking my money even after cancelling the plan and countless efforts advising them to stop billing me. It is criminal!

We are onto our second watch and it is still not working. We have tried everything that they have recommended. They asked if we wanted to cancel the sim plan and I emailed back in July to say we wanted to cancel and they have continued to take monthly payments from me and no response emails i have sent! Im due over €100 refund and I want my money back!!!!!
