Dear Despina,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.

We sincerely apologise for the experience and delays you faced with the processing of your order. This is certainly not typical of our standard service.

We truly appreciate your kind comments regarding our customer service team's kindness and professionalism. We are also very grateful for your patience throughout your contact with us via our online chat service while we worked to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Please know that since this occurred back in April, we have taken concrete steps to ensure such processing delays do not happen again. We value your feedback immensely and have taken your comments on board to continuously improve our communication and order management.

Most importantly, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your purchase once it arrived. Thank you again for your valuable feedback and support.

Hi Kaz,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review! I’m delighted to hear that you’re really happy with your new watches and that you found them to be "really nice."

Regarding the size, we appreciate the honest feedback—it can definitely be tricky to judge scale online, but we're glad they still hit the mark for you.

I did want to look into your note about the delivery being late, as we always strive for efficiency. I can see the order was placed on Saturday, March 7th, and delivered the following Friday, the 13th. Since this falls within our advertised delivery window, I’m sorry if it felt a bit longer than expected on your end! We'll keep working to make our shipping as snappy as possible.

Thanks again for choosing Moon Behind the Hill. We’re thrilled you’re happy with your purchase!

Warm regards,

David Barry

Dear Paul,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We value all reviews—including the critical ones—as they help us reflect on our service and improve our customer experience.

I have looked into your order which you made on 23rd February and can see it was handed over to our logistics partner, GLS, at our Valencia, Spain fulfillment center on 25th February. While we rely on our couriers once a package leaves us, we understand that waiting for a delivery can be frustrating.

In our "Shipping & Order Processing" note on our product page, we mention that delivery to Ireland typically takes 4 to 6 business days. As today is March 3rd, your order is still within that estimated window. We aim to provide this information upfront so our customers have clear expectations, but we will certainly review our product pages to see if we can make this even clearer.

Your parcel is currently in transit, and we expect it to arrive within the next couple of days. Please keep an eye on the GLS tracking portal or your Order Status page for the most up-to-date information.

We truly appreciate your business and hope that once your item arrive, it will meet your expectations.

Best regards,

David Barry

Dear Josephine,

Firstly, I want to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced with your recent order.

To clarify, your order was placed on St Stephen's Day, 26th December 2024, and not before Christmas as stated in your review. We are very sorry for the delays you experienced in the shipping of your items from our fulfilment facilities.

The delays were caused firstly by our fulfilment staff being on their Christmas holidays, the items you ordered were held in separate fulfilment locations (one in Germany and the second in Spain) which is why we decided to ship them to you in two separate shipments. Our fulfilment teams completed the order processing and handed over the first parcel to GLS on 30th December 2024, and the second parcel on 3rd January 2025 to DHL Express. Additionally, there was a severe adverse snow and ice weather event in early January that caused significant delays throughout our shipping partners' delivery networks.

We understand that both parcels have now been delivered to your Irish address. We deeply apologise for the delays you experienced, but please understand that once we hand parcels over to our shipping partners, we rely on their professionalism to deliver them as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, sometimes external factors such as weather and high parcel traffic can cause delays, and we are very sorry that on this occasion it affected the delivery of your order.

Once again, I apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment this may have caused. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Warm regards,

David Barry

Dear Patrick,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review! We truly appreciate your feedback and are thrilled to hear that you found our service excellent.

We apologize for the delay in shipping your order. The pre-Christmas period is indeed a very busy time for parcel deliveries, and the high volume of parcels transiting through our delivery partner FedEx's networks contributed to the delay. We are grateful for your patience and understanding during this busy season.

Thank you for choosing to shop with Moon Behind the Hill. We look forward to serving you again in the future and providing an even better experience next time.

Warm regards,

David Barry

Dear Moira,

Thank you so much for choosing Moon Behind the Hill and for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly appreciate your purchase and value your opinion immensely.

We're very sorry to hear about your concerns regarding the delay and lack of communication in receiving your custom-designed T-shirt. We understand how frustrating waiting can be, especially without sufficient updates, and we want to address your concerns comprehensively.

To clarify, your order was placed on July 18, 2024, and not the 17th as mentioned. As the product you ordered is made on demand, there is a longer processing time involved. This careful production process allows us to create unique items specifically for you, and it's part of our commitment to reducing overproduction and being environmentally conscious.

Here’s a detailed timeline of your order:

* **Order Date:** July 18, 2024 – Order confirmation was sent via email.
* **Production:** Your custom T-shirt went into production immediately after your order was placed.
* **Shipping:** The T-shirt was completed and shipped on July 26, 2024. An email with tracking information was sent on this date.
* **Delivery:** FedEx delivered your T-shirt on August 2, 2024, and it was signed for at 12:43 PM by M. Cash.

Throughout each stage, we updated your order status page, which you could access at any time. Additionally, we sent out email notifications to keep you informed: order confirmation on July 18, shipping confirmation with tracking on July 26, out-for-delivery on August 2, and delivery confirmation also on August 2.

Moira, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by our communication and for the frustration you experienced during this waiting period. We are committed to improving our customer service to ensure a smoother experience for all our valued customers.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we created your unique T-shirt. We hope you love it as much as we loved making it for you. If you have any further concerns or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help and would love to hear your feedback on the T-shirt once you’ve had a chance to enjoy it.

Warm regards,
David Barry

Dear Ganesh,

First and foremost, we want to express our gratitude for taking the time to provide your valuable feedback. Your specific concerns regarding our shipping and return policy have been carefully noted. At Moon Behind the Hill, we prioritize customer satisfaction above all and sincerely regret any inconvenience you've encountered. Rest assured, we take all feedback seriously as part of our commitment to service improvement.

To ensure transparency, we would like to summarize our returns policy. Customers have the benefit of a 14-day return period from the date of delivery. For most of our EU customers, we offer a convenient, free drop-off return option through our logistics partners UPS or DPD. Should a return be necessary, we ensure a refund of the full price paid for the item, though we do not refund any original shipping costs incurred.

In the interest of clarity and transparency, we wish to outline the details of your specific transaction. You purchased a watch costing €30.70, with an additional €10 shipping charge. The item was delivered within our standard delivery time frame. Upon you initiating the return process, our team promptly provided you with a prepaid returns label to facilitate the return, in line with our customer service commitments.

We understand that the retaining of the €10 shipping charge may be a point of contention. However, this policy is clearly communicated on our website in our Returns Policy Page and is intended to cover the logistics costs incurred in shipping the product to and from our customers. This approach ensures we can continue offering competitive prices while maintaining a fair and sustainable business model. This practice, which we believe align with industry best practices, is consistent with policies across the online retail industry.

We deeply regret any confusion or inconvenience our returns policy may have caused. As always, our commitment to customer satisfaction remains unwavering. Should you have any more questions or require further clarification, we encourage you to reach out directly. Our customer support team is readily available to assist you via email at hello@moonbehindthehill.ie, phone us on +353 56 773 8509 or via our live chat on any of our web pages.

In conclusion, while we stand by our industry-standard returns policy for its fairness and transparency, our primary concern is the satisfaction and understanding of our customers. We appreciate the opportunity your feedback provides to clarify our policies. Thank you once again, Ganesh, for your review. We hope to have the chance to serve you better in the future, ensuring a more positive experience with our brand.

Kind regards
David
