Shelbourne Estates, Arden Park
We’ve visited Arden Park now several times since April and on each occasion received a warm welcome from Tracey, the Sales Advisor for Shelbourne. We have had a couple of ‘walkabouts’ with her and found her to be extremely knowledgeable and highly professional. Nothing has been too much trouble and we now hope to secure our plot on what is looking to be a very nice development.

As first time buyers we came into the processing not knowing a lot. Carol and Vic were extremely helpful at each stage of the process and always there to help us with a friendly face. No matter how busy they were they always had time to sit down and walk us through anything we needed help with. We have now completed the process and moved into our lovely first home, the experience has been amazing and I would always recommend Morris Homes to anyone wanting a new build.
Hannah at Rivington Park
Hannah at Rivington Park, Lancashire was a pleasure to deal with when coming to view houses initially. She gave great outsider perspective on our personal house buying situation and insider knowledge on the Morris homes estates. She was never rude or treated us like we were too young (despite being in our 30s plenty of housing companies treat us like children instead of guiding and helping like Hannah did with all things new build!) we appreciated her time and advise - although the remaining plot is not for us, we will keep in contact with Hannah and hopefully buy in future. She was never pushy- she respected our decision and I will be happy to hear from her again when the next phase begins build. Thanks Hannah.

Carol and Vic were both fantastic, they took time to understand my position and give me details about the development and the local area. It remains to be seen if I can find a suitable property on St Mary's Place, but if the other developments by Morris are half as good as carol and Vic then it's safe to assume my next home will be a Morris home!
Megan was very helpful when we popped…
Megan was very helpful when we popped in at the weekend without an appointment. Gave us a lot of information about Alconbury Weald and facilities, currently and upcoming. This was really useful as we don’t know the area that well.

We are first time buyers and cannot fault the team at Morris Home - Bartle Meadows :)
From our first viewing, Hannah (now moved on to the Rivington Park site) took us under her wing and guided us through the entire process. As our home was already built prior to reservation, we got to see our actual home from the beginning and were grateful to be able to return with our families to visit multiple times in the weeks that followed. Morris Homes have been incredibly generous to us and made the entire buying process so smooth. We went with their recommended solicitors and mortgage advisors (Watson Ramsbottom and RSC Homes) and cannot fault either company. Stacey from Watson Ramsbottom and Steven from RSC Homes were so kind to us and communicated everything in a clear and understandable way.
We had the pleasure of meeting our Assistant Site Manager Matt by chance on reservation day, as we’d driven over to our plot after reserving to stare at it in awe (hehe). From day dot, Matt has gone above and beyond for us and is in constant communication with us. He is friendly and approachable with his customers’ best interests at heart. Anytime we have had workmen in to sort snags, he has gone out of his way to come round and check that they had been and that we were fully satisfied - this is such a lovely touch and again just shows how committed he is to providing the best care to customers. We genuinely cannot fault him and would recommend people to our site purely based on the way we have been looked after by Matt!
As first time buyers, we weren’t quite sure what to expect but we have watched friends and family go through this process many times, specifically with new builds, and can safely say that our enhanced experience has been down to the care and attention that the Bartle Meadows staff have shown us throughout, especially Hannah & Matt <3
(also a huge bonus that our house is STUNNING and such great value!)
princess Meadow Kirkham
We was supported by Olwyn to buy our Abingdon home on princes meadow Kirkham.
She was a absolute star and helped us part ex our home so the process from start to us moving in was 6 weeks we was very impressed and can not fault her in any way.
On moving in we have had a few snags which seemed to all be sorted now,
our problem at this time s that the workmen are parking opposite and in front of our drive making it impossible to get of , and at times they park opposite each other so no emergency vehicle would not able be to gain assess or no safe evacuation could take place, i know this is only for a certain amount of time, but it is absolutely frustrating, i have got to be honest and say the site managers and Olwyn have always tried to stop this which tends to work for a while but them slips back into chaos again.
our home is beautiful and we are so happy and grateful to Olwyn and staff so a big thank you to them.
Customer Care Couldn't Care Less
Firstly, when we first moved in to the property, any issues we had were dealt with by the on site team who were brilliant but since we've moved over to the Customer Care team I feel like they couldn't have cared less.
Recently, we've had an issue where one of our doors wouldn't lock.
I contacted "Customer Care" and reported the issue only to be told, as the property was in my partners name and due to GDPR reasons, I was unable to report the fault.
How reporting a fault with a property has any impact on GDPR regulations is beyond my comprehension but what made this especially embarrassing was the Agent named my partner as the owner of the property (to inform me I wasn't her) so any consideration of GDPR breached in that moment.
My partner had come off a night shift at work and was sleeping when I reported the fault so I was forced to wake her up in order to get a response from "Customer Care".
So unfortunately, I had to wake my partner and reported the issue at around 9am on 13/06/25, on a Friday morning. We then received a call from a third party, who are responsible for the doors on the estate, at around 14:30 that day, offering to send a rep out on the following Monday, 16/06/25, to address the fault.
This was understandably unacceptable as we're unable to lock the door and despite being told it would be prioritised, it clearly wasn't.
As you would expect, we asked for this to be escalated and as my partner had appointments that afternoon, she asked Morris Holes to contact myself to handle any details. Despite the aforementioned GDPR breach, we were advised this wasn't possible and only she could deal with "Customer Care".
Ultimately, it didn't matter as, to cut a very long story short, it's now Sunday, two days later, and we still have a door that we're unable to lock.
If I worked for Morris Homes, I'd be embarrassed by how they have dealt with this debacle. Despite our initial positive experience with the company, I'd now warn off any friends and family from dealing with them as it seems they simply don't care.
Reserved a new home at Rivington Park
Reserved a new home at Rivington Park, Horwich and are in the process of purchasing. We are using the part exchange scheme offered and so far everything is going according to plan. If we complete as predicted, it will be a 6 week process from reserving to moving in!
Can’t wait to take ownership of our new property, the layout of the house is great, with brilliant finishes throughout.
Nothing was to much trouble!!
Went to Arkall Farm today and met with Chris. He was really busy but nothing seemed like to much trouble, we went to the show home and spent time with us talking through various extras. My husband wanted to see various plans which was no trouble, and a couple of hours later he had worked out different costings for us so we can work out what upgrades we would need! 5*
Morris Homes - St Neots
Today we visited Morris Homes Sales Office at St Neots. We were warmly welcomed by Angela who was absolutely sensational in showing us around the estate and the incredible houses for sale. Thank you so much Angela.
Marvellous Morris Homes
Following my recent visit to Morris Homes St Neots, my grandson and his girlfriend have purchased a beautiful new home in your development. We checked in with the sales office and your representative Angela gave us all an excellent tour of the estate and was extremely professional, and knowledgeable. She is a credit to your company.
Wintringham estate- Excellent customer service
My partner and I are currently in the process of buying a home on the Wintringham estate. We have been working with Angela Bayford- who has been excellent. She has provided us with regular updates, been at the end of the phone/emails to answer our questions, and has really supported us on our journey. I’m a first time buyer, but my partner is selling his flat. She’s walked us through it all, and been in our corner as we progress through the Smart Move scheme. We are also relocating, and Angela has shared regular photos with us and fitted us in around travelling up when we can- as it’s not easy for us to just pop round and take a look. Overall, it’s been great to have Angela as part of our experience.
The Morris Homes are also definitley the nicest builds on the development, where a lot of different builders have their own sections. They offer the highest specification, and are by far the most visually appealing.
The only reason for a 4 star review would be the marketing/website- which has been a bit confusing/misleading.
