I engaged MossKind
I engaged MossKind, run by Michael, to headhunt a CTO for my business. The agreement was clear: they would successfully place a candidate for a £15,000 fee.
The process started positively, and Michael identified a strong candidate who progressed through the interview stages — but ultimately declined the offer. From that point onwards, it became clear that MossKind’s commitment ended the moment their first option fell through. Despite repeated chasing, communication was slow, excuses became the norm, and no meaningful progress was made.
Over the course of 10 months, MossKind failed to deliver a single viable replacement candidate. Eventually, I had no choice but to terminate the process. Despite not fulfilling the agreed requirement of successfully placing a candidate, they refused to offer any refund or compensation.
Michael is clearly experienced in executive search, but in my experience, MossKind lacked the professionalism, integrity, and follow-through expected of a premium search firm. When you entrust a recruiter with a significant fee, you expect results and accountability — not months of delay and avoidance.
Sadly, I cannot recommend MossKind to any business seeking a committed and results-driven partner.
