Friendly movers and great service. They were careful with my items and went above and beyond.

My mom recently moved from California to the Philippines to retire, and she had collected many fragile items over the years from places like TJMaxx and thrift stores. We needed a reliable moving company to take care of her belongings. After some research, I found Transparent International Movers.

We were really impressed with their service. They handled all the paperwork, making everything easy for us. They provided great advice and were very patient with my elderly mom throughout the process.

I’m happy to report that all her items arrived in the Philippines in perfect condition—none were damaged. We’re very satisfied with their service and will happily recommend them to the Filipino community here in Southern California!

Honestly, I had hesitations about this company at first, but after some desperation and leap of faith, I have become a customer of theirs for life. Best shipping company I have ever used with completely reliable process.

First of let me start be saying thanks for all your help with my move! Huge shout out to the entire team, don’t know how I would have moved out of NYC w/o all your help. 10/10 would recommend.

Do you research and don't use this company! I was never informed that Transparent would be using a separate company once my shipment was in Europe. The companies they outsource to are very lackluster and slow. It took 6 weeks beyond the move in date for me to receive my belongings after moving into my apartment. They were aware of my move in date several months prior to the date and my shipment was in Europe. There was a huge lack of communication on their part. I had multiple missing boxes as well as broken furniture and I received less than $300 in compensation.

Believe the reviews. I went with transparent due to the high pressure sales, that was my first mistake. Once they have your packages and money, you never hear back from them. After repeated calls and emails, I found out 6 weeks later my things have not even left the destination. What are they even doing?

Transparent is going to be my go to when I come back to the states. I moved a few times in the past, and honestly this was definitely one of the smoother operations that I’ve seen

It takes a lot to move overseas but I am glad that I found Transparent!

Transparent was a good moving company honestly. Worked with a few in the past, but they really steered me in the right direction. Really had a good time with their sales people - there was a little confusion with some of the paper work but it was on my end as things were a little hectic haha. Regardless - thanks Transparent!

The move was Incredibly smooth and they really helped me throughout the whole process. Lucas helped me out a lot since I didn’t know much of what was going on haha

Don’t' use this company! I contracted this “Transparent” company on April 2024. The sales person sounded very friendly, so I used them even though they were not the cheapest quote. I paid over $3800 (insurance not included) just hoping I can get quality services and was told there was no fees on the other end, but it turned out I had to pay over $200 extra “fee” when my stuff arrived the other end. First, the packing was not "professional" as they claimed, the packers were just two men showing up to move my boxes! It was miserable! I spoke to them endlessly before the pick-up day about the size of box for my bicycle, I want it to be professionally packed. On the day of moving, all they came up with was just one single layer of bubble wrap!!! They were not prepared at all and they don’t have bicycle boxes! No box, nothing for the few things I left for them to pack for me!! All they did was throwing a loose layer of bubble wrap!! They over-estimated the size of my moving and promised a refund of $294, but after I made the extra payment of +$200 on the receiving end, I sent them a number of email asking for the promised refund, their response has been “silence”...... Now that a couple of months has gone by, I no longer hope to have my money back. I am writing this to warn whoever is being tricked to use them. Don’t fool by the friendliness of the sales person, this is not an honest business!

They held my furniture hostage until I paid an additional $7000 on top of the $8000 I had already paid. When I complained to the BBB I received an abusive call from the manager. They were in experienced packer and ruined som antique wooden furniture by putting duct tape on the wood. There is more but I don’t want to spend anymore time on these lying bullies. Stay away

Three years ago we contracted with Transparent International to move our household goods from Puerto Rico to Sugar Land, Texas. All went well until it came time to deliver our goods. Transparent took over 40 days to make that delivery which cost us over $6.4K.
We filed with the BBB and after several back-and-forths, they stopped the communications.
This caused us to file suit. During the entire lenght of the suit, Transparent ignored the whole process. This resulted in a default judgement against them for the full amount.
We will have to file a lien on their assets in order to recoup any funds due us. I am betting that Transparent will not respond until forced when they go out of business.

I put one star because Trust Pilot won’t let me put a zero. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Bait and switch, terrible communication, bad customer service, and a refusal to take responsibility for any of it. The person who was our contact left the company a few weeks into the process. Since then, it’s been a disaster. After we paid the full amount and after they picked up our stuff, they held us up for an additional 50% above the contract price. Seven weeks after pickup, our stuff is still not on a ship and we only found out because of our repeated calls and emails. The name of the company—Transparent—is the ultimate irony.

Although I eventually chose to ship with another company, I am writing this review due to Steve Brodie. After contacting numerous international shipping companies, Steve was the first to respond. He talked with me for a long period of time explaining how the entire process worked and what I should look out for in choosing a company and preparing my items for shipping. Throughout my decision process, Steve continued to provide excellent information and even after I decided to go with another company (not Steve's fault but rather that my husband and I preferred a live load), Steve offered further advice. He was exceptionally professional and a complete gentleman throughout the decision process. Unlike other companies, he did NOT harass me with numerous uninvited emails and phone calls after I made my decision. Wonderful person and ambassador for this company!

Steve Brodie was excellent! We had so many emails and calls to get everything I needed and make changes to the quote to fit my budget. Steve never put any pressure on me to make a decisions but was also super proactive in following up on my questions and whether or not I needed any other info.

Didn’t end up using them because they quoted me $3000 and when I called to book and get more information it went to $13,000!! Plus they fussed at me for not answering my phone even though they never responded to my emails. Horrible customer service, bait and switch pricing.
