Ich verreiste ohne Auto und nur mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zusammen mit einer 90-jährigen Dame, die auf Rollator angewiesen ist. Das war MUSE auch bekannt.
Trotzdem verlangten sie kurzfristig von uns, dass wir den Bus 7 km vor dem Ferienhaus verlassen, um den Schlüssel im Büro abzuholen (vorher war mir noch versprochen worden, dass sich dafür eine Lösung fände...)
Dann erhielt ich komplett falsche Auskünfte über mögliche Busfahrpläne für Buslinien, die mit Rollator erreichbar waren. Im Nachhinein entschuldigte sich MUSE, es seien neue und unerfahrene Mitarbeiter:innen gewesen.
Und MUSE brüstete sich in dem Entschuldigungsschreiben, sie hätten es uns ermöglicht, dass wir bei der Heimreise den Schlüssel zur Ferienwohnung einfach im Haus haben lassen können. Fakt ist aber: Das habe ich allein organisiert, den Vermieter (der nebenan wohnt) gefragt und ihn gebeten, den Schlüssel im Büro vorbeizubringen. MUSE hat dazu gar keinen Beitrag geleistet.
Und MUSE brüstete sich auch damit, uns ein Taxi besorgt zu haben, damit wir samt Schlüssel vom Büro zur Ferienwohnung kamen und nicht auf einen weiteren Bus warten mussten. Das ist allerdings nur halb richtig: Versprochen war ein Großraumwagen, damit Rollator, 2 Koffer plus 2 Personen gut hineinpassen. In Wirklichkeit kam aber ein ganz normaler PKW, wo es sehr eng wurde. Und der fuhr ohne Taxameter und verlangte für 7 km glatt 40 Euro - im Internet lassen sich bei mehreren Taxiunternehmen deutlich günstigere Preise abrufen.
Fazit : Die Ferienwohnung war toll, der Service von MUSE stark verbesserungsfähig

Let’s get straight to the point: if you’re not the super patient type or don’t have time to communicate with them, just book somewhere else.
I spent a ridiculous amount of effort emailing and chasing them for replies—it honestly felt like even their own department manager was trying to push things forward on their end.

1. I completed the online check-in form a week before arrival. The system stated I would receive an info folder (apparently a 20+ page PDF), or that I could download it via a link—but neither worked. I emailed to ask how to proceed with check-in.
2. Since we were arriving after office hours, they arranged a late check-in and sent a link to pay the city tax. However, after I paid, they didn’t follow up with instructions for key collection, so I had to email again. They replied that the mailbox code would be provided on the day of arrival.
3. On the day itself, I still hadn’t received any code. I emailed again around 5 PM. An hour later, they called me—asking for the city tax, which I had already paid several days prior. After checking, they confirmed the payment and finally sent the mailbox code.
4. The promised info folder never arrived. When I followed up, I was told it was being updated. Without the PDF, we had to call just to ask for the Wi-Fi password.
5. I had also asked about toiletries. They answered, “Each property provides different amenities. If you want to know, we can check for you.” So I replied asking them to confirm, and they said there would be some—but none were there when we arrived. When I asked again, they explained that it was up to the owner and may not be included.

Overall, I exchanged over 10 emails just to get the most basic information. It felt more like I was handling their customer support than being a guest. If you’re okay with that, the apartment itself is quite nice—my travel companions were happy with it. But the management company definitely needs to improve its communication and internal coordination.

Leider war meine Erfahrung mit Muse.Holiday in Bardolino sehr enttäuschend. Ich habe Mitte Februar mit der Buchung für einen 10-tägigen Aufenthalt im Mai begonnen. Der ursprüngliche Preis betrug 1.788 €. Da es sich um eine beträchtliche Summe handelt, habe ich darum gebeten, die Wohnung vorher besichtigen zu können. Der Gastgeber bestätigte mir, dass dies ab dem 3. März problemlos möglich sei.

Als ich den Gastgeber am 8. März kontaktierte, um die Besichtigung zu vereinbaren, wurde mir sehr knapp mitgeteilt, dass dies nicht möglich sei. Ich wies darauf hin, dass wir eine schriftliche Vereinbarung hatten, aber daraufhin erhielt ich keine weitere Antwort. Zudem stieg der Preis nach dem 3. März auf 2.278 €, also fast 500 € mehr, ohne eine nachvollziehbare Erklärung.

Diese fehlende Transparenz und mangelnde Professionalität veranlassen mich, diesen Gastgeber nicht weiterzuempfehlen. Wer Zuverlässigkeit und Seriosität sucht, sollte sich lieber woanders umsehen.

Purtroppo la mia esperienza con Muse.Holiday a Bardolino è stata molto deludente. Ho iniziato le fasi di prenotazione a metà febbraio per un soggiorno di 10 giorni a maggio, con un prezzo iniziale di 1.788 €. Vista la cifra importante, ho chiesto di poter visionare l’appartamento, e l’host mi ha confermato che sarebbe stato possibile farlo dal 3 marzo.

Quando ho contattato l’host l’8 marzo per organizzare la visita, mi è stato risposto in modo molto secco che non era possibile. Ho fatto presente che avevamo un accordo scritto, ma da quel momento non ho più ricevuto risposte. Inoltre, dopo il 3 marzo il prezzo è aumentato a 2.278 €, con una differenza di quasi 500 € senza alcuna spiegazione.

Questa gestione poco trasparente e la mancanza di professionalità mi spingono a sconsigliare questo host. Se cercate serietà e affidabilità, meglio rivolgersi altrove.

We rented a 10-people chalet from Muse last winter. We had some problems and unfortunately, the communication with Muse was terrible. They do not answer messages, say they will reply and then don't and are not helpful with solving problems. If everything is good with your stay, you may not have to talk to them and have a good experience. If you are less lucky and need their support - good luck! Book with them at your own risk.

Absolutely perfect experience with MUSE.holiday! The accommodation was stunning, spotless, and in the perfect location on the slopes of Selva. Acess was with a key code, that way i had not to worry about loosing the key. All in all it was seamless af and special compliments to the guy on the phone -so helpful, friendly, and always ready to go above and beyond. Can’t wait to book again

Völlig unseriöses Unternehmen: bietet die Stornierung einer von booking.com gemachten Buchung an, um dann angeblich eine eigene Buchungsbestätigung günstiger zu schicken. Als das abgelehnt wurde verlangen Sie die Vorauszahlung des gesamten Mietpreises 4 Monate vor Mietbeginn und das auf aufdringliche Weise. Zum Glück kamen wir aus dieser Buchung schadensfrei heraus. Never again!
