Fraudulent Site - Steals Credit Card Information
I tried to order replacement lids for Ello Pop & Fill water bottles. They were only about $2 each; I should have known that was too good to be true. I went to check out and it wouldn't take my credit card. I tried another credit card. The charge would not go through so I gave up. Then I notice fraudulent transactions on both cards. They were not charges from myello.shop. They for other places like Pizza Hut, Subway, Uber, and Lyft. This site is a front for the purpose of gathering your information. So I've had to cancel both cards. Don't be dumb like I was. Stay away! Also, don't buy Ello water bottles for your kids. The lid will eventually break. The real Ello site (elloproducts dot com) will sell lids for about $7 but shipping is about $6 (and 'free' shipping requires a whopping $75 order), which means you are paying over half the cost of a whole new bottle. Buy from a respected brand like Stanley or Yeti, so you can at least find replacement parts at a reasonable cost. Ello makes products destined for the landfill. Pay a little more for something that will last.
