Terrible customer service. High pressure door to door sales tactics. I cancelled my service with this company a year ago and was overall unhappy with the service and technicians. I had a technician at my house (we have cameras at the home) and watched as he sat in his truck for almost an hour before quickly walking around the yard in 5 minutes and sprinkling granules of what I assume is pest control material around the yard. Not by the side of the house or anywhere in particular, just randomly around as he walked 1 time around the house. I shared this with the company and they basically blew me off. They have knocked on my door twice since then trying to get me to use their service and each time I told them soliciting is not allowed in our private gated community, AND I ALREADY FIRED YOU. The salesperson at my door both time proceeded to argue with me about why I cancelled and that is was even ever a customer. I showed them the customer service emails and "oh, maybe our records are not updated" That was over a year ago I cancelled and switched services. Do not use this company. They are also in the middle of a class action lawsuit for deceptive business practices.

Sales tech came to our door, wouldn’t take no for an answer and then walked into our backyard and side yard without permission. He asked our neighbor if her husband was home when she said no. Creepy and unprofessional

Avoid this company at all costs. I've been trying to get out of my contract with them for 2 months and every time I talk to customer service they say its resolved but then I get a bill. I really wish I had read all these reviews before hand and I hope this reaches someone before its to late for them.

My experience with this company has been extremely frustrating. I attempted to cancel the service after I concluded that the services provided did not meet what I understood had been agreed upon. I also raised concerns about allergic reactions in my household following a treatment.

Despite my request to cancel, I have continued to receive communications stating that I owe additional balances. I dispute those amounts because I do not believe the services underlying those charges were provided as agreed.

I have spent considerable time trying to resolve the matter and have not been satisfied with the company’s handling of the cancellation or billing dispute.

This review reflects my personal experience and opinion. Based on that experience, I would not use this company again and would recommend that prospective customers carefully review the cancellation provisions, service commitments, and billing terms before entering into an agreement.

EcoShield salesman appeared at my door, ignoring posted no trespassing/no soliciting signs and tried to high pressure me into agreeing to letting him write a quote for pest control.
When I said that we have that taken care of, he wanted to know who we do business with: none of his business.
He said he needed to write a quote within the next two days - weird. Why two days?
I asked for a business card, which should include business license and/or contractor #. He didn't have any but showed me a plastic card like brick with his name printed on it - not a legitimate business.
He ignored a number of social cues like me moving back inside my front door and telling him that I was cooking - I had a dish baking in the oven and didn't want it to burn.
He only left when I told him that we would give them a call if we needed their services in future but that I would not commit to letting him give us a quote. That's when he turned on his heel and marched off my property.
Victims of this unethical scam company should complain to the secretary of state at wa.gov as well as LNI and the BBB. Pull their license and put an end to a dishonest business.

Same story. Decpetive door to door sales that claims they use better product than anyone else ("proprietary" - turns out it's the same exact stuff), their services were bare bones, can't adhere to the notes on the account, never do the full coverage of service, constantly coming back to make it right - never make it right. Called about a wasp nest in the walls and never called back, had to hire another company to come and take care of it. From DAY ONE, this company has been miserable but they lock you in to a contract and charge a fee for cancelling. I consider their service, business model, and tactics to be borderline criminal. Never get a callback. Always get routed to an offshore call center that does nothing but reads lines off a script without actually offering any service. This is probably one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had

This is scam company to discuss services and rush an agreement for year + contract. They allegedly spray and deweb the home which has not had a real impact. They charge $180-$250 to do nothing that justifies any form of cost. They ignored my clear no soliciting sign, they'll pitch you can cancel anytime, but hide in the email that cancellation is $250. The business model is catching you off guard and pushing people into a contract with brief vague explanation. They come to your door, slam it in their face. Door to door businesses sales involving contracted services need to be outlawed.

Horrible service. The salesman came to my door and was very friend and left me his number if I needed anything. We agreed to $150 initial fee and 60 a month and I was charged 200. I was supposed to get the initial treatment and mosquito fogger 3 days later. Tech showed up the first day asking me what he was there for. The mosquito fogger never showed when he was supposed too and I had to call the company 3x to get someone here. When the guy did show up he sprayed a 20 foot area and left. I tried to call the salesman and got no answer and no reply after leaving a voicemail. To top off the terrible service and communication I have more bugs than before they started. Buyer beware this company is beyond terrible. I should have checked their reviews before I agreed to anything but the 1.5 stars they have on yelp and trust pilot is generous. I would give them 0 but 1 is as low as I can go

EcoShield Pest Solutions is running an absolute scam. George came to our door a few weeks ago and when he was told we already had pest control services, he quoted us a lower price, said he would get us out of our contract and that he would get the cancellation fee from our previous provider cancelled. About 2 weeks after we signed up, my husband received the quarterly charge from the previous company; he called the company who had no record of a cancellation request being received. So there was one promise broken. After we finally got our previous service cancelled, we received a charge for cancelling our contract early. So there was a second promise broken. My husband immediately reached out to George (again) who said he would take care of it and get back to us. It's been over a week with no communication from George. I am counting down the days until our contract is up so we never have to deal with this company again. Do not believe a word anyone in this company says since all they do is lie. I will also be reporting them to the BBB for fraudulent practices.

Do NOT trust EcoShield Pest Solutions or their door-to-door salespeople.A slimy, ruthless salesman named Gauge (last name unknown) showed up at my door and pushed me into signing. He was aggressive, high-pressure, and completely downplayed or hid the real terms. Once you try to cancel, they hit you with a cancellation fee even though the salesman made it sound easy to walk away.These door-to-door guys are trained to be slick and ruthless. They get you to sign on the spot, then the company turns around and demands money just to get out. Classic bait-and-switch.Save yourself the headache and the stress. Send them packing the second they knock. I regret ever opening the door to Gauge and EcoShield.

The technician showed up never got out of his van and said he did the job. Then i receive a text message wanting to rate his service and had to call and cancel and got horribly english speaking reps , and was put on hold twice. Do not use this service. It's a scam

Cancelled within the 3-business-day window using the exact method EcoShield's own text told me to use ("Reply '9': You wish to cancel your contract"). They acknowledged receiving it, then refused to process it. A rep texted: "We do need to speak with you over the phone in order to resolve your request in full."

I called the number they provided in writing, 888-744-1284. It didn't reach EcoShield. It reached an automated marketing system pitching medical alert devices, insurance, prescription plans, home security, and a competing pest control offer. When I said "Cancellation" and named EcoShield, it said "I'm not finding a match for your request."

I have a recording. Complaints being filed with the Virginia AG, VDACS, BBB, and FTC.

If you sign, get your cancellation in writing and send it certified mail.

STAY AWAY...SUCH A SCAM BUSINESS...

1. The concept was forged not my initials and not my signature.
2. The guy at the door told me its one time charge for 4 service visits. Which is not right its evey time $189.
3. Ants come back and I called to get respray which was a nightmare with the lady on the phone, she is extremely unpleasant.
4.best of the best..... same lady didn't want to cancel the contract. Finally she agreed that I can cancel it and tells me I owe $50 for cancelation fee. Ok. But this morning I get a bill for $200. Cancelation fee. .
SCAM SCAM.AND THE SPRAY THEY USE IT DOSEN'T WORK I STILL HAVE ANTS AFTER MULTIPLE VISITS...

They don't tell you about the early termination fee of $250! If you don't want all of the yearly treatments, that's their threat. I had one treatment left and had to take it to avoid their insane fee. Never again.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with EcoShield\. I originally switched from Proof because I was told EcoShield would provide better service, but honestly, I regret leaving Proof\. With Proof, whenever I had an issue, they took care of it properly and the resolution was always what I expected\. I never felt like I had to fight to get the service I was paying for\.

With EcoShield, the service did not meet my expectations, and I ended up having to remove the webs myself\. When I contacted customer service because I was unhappy and wanted to cancel, I felt like my concerns were dismissed\. Their solution was simply to send someone back out and “do it right,” but they were unwilling to waive the charge even though I was unhappy with the service I already received\.

What is even more frustrating is that I was told by the representative that this was not a contract\. Now I am being told that I am committed to a long\-term agreement and could be charged a termination fee\. I feel like I was misled when I agreed to the service\.

I have wasted so much time making calls, sending emails, and repeatedly explaining the same situation, only to feel like I am getting nowhere\. The customer service experience has been extremely frustrating\.

**I honestly regret leaving Proof\.** Proof always handled my concerns, did the job right, and gave me a resolution that met my expectations\. I switched because I thought EcoShield would be better, but unfortunately my experience has been the complete opposite\.

I am sharing this review so other customers can make an informed decision before signing up\. Based on my experience, **I would not recommend EcoShield\.** Dont listen to Niko!

Horrendous. Another scam and ponzy scheme. Just know it’ll be IMPOSSIBLE to cancel and will go to collections!!!! They don’t give a d***

Technicians are friendly, but other that that I have nothing positive to say about Eco Shield. I have been trying to cancel my service for 11 months but they keep sending me emails, Phone call and texts trying to get me to continue using them. Plus, everyone you talk to is overseas in a call center reading off a script.
One of the most annoying and dishonest companies I have dealt with!

Avoid at all cost! Horrible company. Traps were never refilled. Twice I was charged for services they never performed then claim they did and still charged me. Four years in a house that had no termites until they were treating then wanted to charge an additional 1,200. To exterminate since their spray is the only insect it doesn’t kill. I could continue on with the lack of performance I paid for. Just a horrible experience. Don’t use.

No one came for the July 24 appt. A follow up was rescheduled Aug 7 and again nobody came. Spider webs and eggs left under the eaves. No sign anyone came, and I was here when they claim they serviced. Complete fraud.

Beware! This company’s solicitors are predators. My wife was at home alone and finally answered the door after the EcoShield solicitor would not stop knocking. She said no thanks several times and not only did he persist with the high-pressure sales pitch, he closed the gap to the front door where she was standing by less than a foot. My wife felt cornered, highly uncomfortable, and in danger. It took her 15 minutes to back away enough after repeatedly saying no to close the door in his face.

Please be careful and do not open the door for these people—especially if you’re home alone! The matter is being escalated to law enforcement as not only are these people annoying, they are criminals.
