I really enjoyed my stay at indigo hotel edinburgh. The room was fantastic. The breakfast was great, they gave a lot of choice. The hotel is central. I will be definitely be returning to the same hotel soon.

It was so easy to book our rooms with the app and we got a fantastic deal with dinner and a bottle of wine and breakfast, we can’t wait to go to Glenskirlie Castle

The hotel was excellent and especially welcoming to our dog. She was able to stay with us in our room and also allowed to be in the bar, lounge and restaurant which is rare in most decent hotels.
She was well provided for with a bed and food/water bowls and a welcome pack with treats, a toy and a doggy blanket

Lots of interesting places to walk but sadly nowhere on site off lead. We understand that perfectly now that we have been there but wish we had known before we arrived as we would have given her a good run on the way there.

Found excellent places that suited us locally with help from the staff who could not have been more helpful. We will definitely return and recommend to our dog owning friends

We booked our stay at the Fairmont last weekend through my hotel break.com and were very disappointed. We checked in and just after arriving in our room we received a call from reception telling us that our reservation for dinner had been brought forward by 30min which we agreed to and were advised our meal would be in the bar area. Reception staff blamed my hotel break for not informing us.
We visited the Spa which was lovely but when leaving I noticed the Spa was closing at 12noon the following day and last admission was at 10am. Despite phoning the hotel direct prior to arriving I was advised we would have full use of the Spa over the 2 days.
On checking my paperwork we should have been dining in the Al a Carte Italian Restaurant.
I went to reception to query this and was told the Italian restaurant was closed and our only option was to eat in the bar area but would get the same food. I questioned this as we had deliberately booked this hotel as we enjoy Italian food. The menu available was NOT Italian.
Later on in the evening we learnt that the whole hotel was closing at 12 the next day for 4 days for essential maintenance. Disappointing is an understatement after paying £298!!
