First and last time I will use Mytrip…called them 5 times to chase up my fast track passes, never received them. Could have done with the fast track passes at Luton airport as the queue for security was very long, no time to enjoy a meal or even a drink, only made the connecting flight with seconds to spare. Only received partial refund for missed flight on outward journey, emails ignored chasing up explanation. Awful customer service.

Due to a delay on my first flight

Due to a delay on my first flight, I couldn’t catch the connection that MyTrip sold me. I called them to explain that I had found a flight the next morning and asked them to cover my hotel, as their own policy states they should. They refused. Instead, they offered me the “option” of flying to another airport around midnight and then waiting until 4am for the next connection, basically spending the whole night in the airport.
Really disappointing service. Bad company, not reliable. I wouldn’t recommend using them.

What a scam

What a scam. Lies, lies, lies. They promise to manage the booking, but this is a lie. The flights were canceled such that they one left hours before the first flight. Did MyTrip do anything? No. Reschedule a flight? No. Communicate with me? No. This is the dirtiest, most corrupt travel broker on the internet, in my experience.

❌ Paid extra, but no service delivered

I booked round-trip Bangkok – Tokyo tickets with Mytrip and paid extra for the Flexi option to change dates. When I requested to change, I was repeatedly asked to submit the same form and wait 72 hours, then another week, but never received a clear answer. After weeks of chasing via chat and phone, I still don’t know if my dates can be changed.
Paying more for Flexi but not getting the promised flexibility feels like false advertising and unfair treatment. Very disappointing experience.

Never book to ticket from MyTrip

Due to mytrip mistake my family has to wait close to 4 hours at the airport. #FlightBookings #mytrip.com #etraveligroup . I was not allowed to check-in , board and my kid whole birthday plan is ruined 😔. It was so heartbreaking to see a kid crying at the airport

Careful to spell your name right!

Let me start by admitting that everything began with a small oversight on my part. While booking a domestic flight in Vietnam, I accidentally mistyped my name—my finger slipped and hit an "s" instead of a "d".

Luckily, three weeks before departure, while reviewing the tickets, I spotted the mistake and immediately contacted MyTrip’s customer service. The booking included a Swiss phone number, which I called. Among the language options, I selected English—the first one listed—and was connected to a call center in India.

The first operator, a kind young woman, emailed me the airline reservation codes and advised me to contact the airline directly, as they couldn’t locate the proper procedure required by the airline for name corrections.

So, I called the airline in Vietnam. They quickly understood the issue but explained that, since the booking was made through an agency, I wasn’t authorized to request the change myself. They told me to go back to MyTrip and have them handle it.

I returned to MyTrip’s support, explained what the airline had said, but the operator—again in India—simply told me he was very sorry… without clarifying what for, and politely ended the call.

I tried again, this time selecting German as the language. A new operator answered, understood the issue, and explained that I just needed to email them a photo of my passport so they could submit the request to the airline. However, this process required a payment of €40. I received the payment request via the email address already registered in their system, and I paid it with my credit card.

Later, I received a call from another Indian operator who informed me there was a problem with my registered email address—it wasn’t working, and they couldn’t send me the email I needed to reply to with my passport copy. Oddly enough, this was the same email they had just used to send me the payment link. Suddenly, it was no longer usable.

I called the German support line again and provided an alternative email address. While the operator was typing it, we double-checked it together and realized they were entering it incorrectly. I asked to stay on the line until I received the email, but after five minutes, the operator politely ended the call, asking if there was anything else they could help me with. Needless to say, the email never arrived.

I called again—this time back to India. Another kind woman answered and told me I needed to provide an alternative email address. I repeated it carefully and asked her to send a test email to confirm it was correct. I received a test message with my flight details. I then asked if she could send the actual email where I was supposed to attach my ID document, but she explained that it wasn’t her department’s responsibility.

All of this happened over the course of three days. And yes, I’m still waiting for the infamous email. I can’t imagine I’m the only person who’s ever needed to correct a name on a flight ticket…

Avoid using Mytrip

I cancelled a flight due to a schedule change and was promised a refund. Wizz Air confirmed they sent it, but Mytrip never passed it on. I’ve been stuck in a loop of excuses and delays. Mytrip keeps saying they're "waiting on the airline," despite clear proof that Wizz Air already refunded them. I’ve contacted them repeatedly and received only vague or automated replies. For nearly a year, they’ve given vague responses and delayed endlessly. I’m still waiting for my £174.83. Very poor customer service.
I would strongly advise others to avoid using Mytrip — especially if you value clear communication, accountability, or getting your money back when something goes wrong.

I will never use them again, I will block this site so i don't get any dodgy offers from them, I buy from them the ticket but they never help even if they made the mistake.

Nachdem ich meinen Rückweg aus Florida antreten wollte , hatte das 1. von 4 Flugzeugen schon so viel Verspätung, dass ich keinen Anschluss bekommen habe und in Boston gestrandet bin !

Einen anderen Flug und ein Hotel musste ich mir zusätzlich leisten für 500 Euro!

Die Rückerstattung des Geldes, galt anscheinend nur für die nicht bekommenen Flüge!

Dabei wollte ich niemals nach Boston, sondern nach Frankfurt!

Also mehrere Tage und mehrere Hunderte Euro in den Wind geblasen !!

Niemals wieder , buche ich hier meinen hart erarbeiteten Urlaub!

Cheap turned out to be expensive - terrible service experience.

The prices they offer seem cheap, but that's where it ends.Once you've paid for the card - you're on your own.They don't take any responsibility, even if the website displays a "self-transfer gurentee" policy that seems credible.And the call center agents, there's no nice way to put it, just lie to your face. They can tell you that you'll get an answer within 4 hours, and if you don't call them after two days you'll never hear from them.
In the end, cheap turns out to be expensive.It's recommended to avoid this company at all costs!

Scam - stay away!
They didn't refund a flight that I couldn't get on; airline asks me to reach out to mytrip, mytrip wants me to reach out to the airline. The airline told me my flight would be rebooked if it was directly booked from their website. I'm done using agencies like this that get their cut and do absolutely nothing when you need any help.
Update: The airline reached out to me about just refunding the tax, which is 50 euros; but I have to get it from mytrip and they say refund handling costs 40 euros. What a joke and absolute scam! Stay away, just pay 10 euros more but get the ticket from the airline itself...

They canceled my trip and never refunded my money. Keeps saying that it's 6 months and the airline hasn't responded so they can't do anything. They owe me around $1200 and it's been 1 and half years gone by and no correspondence is sent.
Worst company to deal with. All the mytrips. are linked so please be wart when dealing with this company.

Scam artists

Scam artists, plain and simple. They say they submitted a request to the airline for a refund after my father's death meant I couldn't take the flight. After 6 months of bouncing between the airline and MyTrip the airline have now confirmed that no refund request was ever submitted. Every time i've called MyTrip over 6 months (and being on hold for an hour at a time), they've said 'the request is submitted there's nothing we can do it's with the airline', i've escalated it to the highest team, we will call you back in one day. They've escalated to the highest team 6 times, never once called me back.

It's a scam. Do not waste your time with this company.

SCAMMERS! AVOID at ALL costs!

Very awful company! Tickets price were almost 4x than at the Airline's website. I purchased a tickets for almost €100 with the option to cancel and reimburse 90% of the tickets price. They gave me back less than €40! Check the price ALWAYS at any Airlines'!

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with mytrip. They charged for meals which were complimentary and refused to re-imburse. They also refused to give me the ombudsman details and instead lied saying that they were on the terms and conditions, followed by ending my conversation with them on the chat function instead of responding to my request.

Terrible Customer Service-If I would have the minus rating option, definitely would do that. I had a very frustrating experience with Mytrip and will never use their service again. I booked a flight through them that was refundable. I had to cancel my flight due to some reason, they gave me a voucher that they said I can use for another flight. When I tried using that voucher code, it was not working. I called them, they were just asking all the time that the team will contact you, when I kept my point, the lady on call said I will hang up your call. This is how they are cheating the customers.
If you’re booking through Trip.com, beware – their customer service is unreliable, and they do not stand by their promises. This experience has been nothing but stressful, disappointing and waste of money.
