Be aware of maintenance and repair charges! I have been charged £235 + VAT for 25 minutes for an electrician to identify an issue with a £6 MCB fuse and then replace it. This is less than two years after the system was installed, and after having bought two systems from Naked Solar over the last 7 years. I was very happy with the quality of the installations; less so with the repair charges!

First class customer service and kept me informed each step of the way.
Very knowledgeable and advised me of options.

Excellent from start to finish. Professional, clear advice, honest interactions. Went away to find answers if they weren't sure.
Once we chose them, good service continued, workmen all very polite and clean and knowledgeable. Turn up on time and do a good job. Leave you with a great system working as it should. Could not be happier.

Our project consisted of an extension of our existing solar array with the addition of battery storage to maximise efficiency. From the outset the process was very professional, informative, supportive and not pushy. My initial contact was with Sam and he took me through the possible scenarios and costs. The clever software package allows the science and data to show how the various options play out and the payback times on the investment. Once this was decided on then the site visit from Paul was followed by the installers and electricians of Josh, Nathan, Liam, Danny, Max, Jake….. all very helpful efficient and tidy. The support around the project was always there from the initial contact of Sam to the Bristol office manager Joe. That support is still in place and nothing is too much trouble. Having been to a few solar companies, I’m very pleased with our choice of supplier. They will be around for quite some time unlike the feel and advice I got from others. We now have what I believe is a quality bit of kit with the solar panels having a 25 year plus warranty, a future proofed battery storage and the pay back time of just over 7 years.
This is a genuine 5 star rating
Well done Naked Solar

Excellent service from start to finish. A will designed system that was professionally installed.

I have been very happy with all aspects of my Naked Solar installation near Wadebridge and the subsequent service and I am now considering using Naked Solar again for my property in North Somerset.

Fantastic journey with Naked Solar from Solar Panels, inverter and Battery with great follow up service. I would thoroughly recommend to anybody for solar power knowledge, installation and after sales support.

Hannah of Naked Solar managed the replacing under warranty of my Sonnen domestic batteries very professionally. She liaised with Sonnen directly, meaning less hassle for me. Although Sonnen isn't Naked Solars recommended product, their electrical engineer, Rhys, installed it with minimum fuss.
All very professionally handled, for which I am very grateful.
A job well done.

Very happy to recommend Naked Solar - Their planning team listened to our wishes and came up with a plan that suited our requirements well. With the help of the Cornish Rocker we have a ground mounted system and Sigen battery system that is outperforming our expectations. Naked provided a very professional and responsive service and we will be happy to call on them for any further solar work.

Provided a very professional design and installation service which filled me with confidence. I have had the installation now for almost 2 years and I'm absolutely delighted with the results. It has saved me an incredible amount of money on my electricity bill and would recommend solar and batteries to anyone who's considering it.

For reference, I have 32 x 440 kW panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3 and an expansion pack along with 2 x Eddi's

We are very impressed with the standard of work & customer service from all of the staff at Naked Solar.
They are all professional, knowledgeable & helpful.
Sean Lloyd in particular took the time to visit us prior to our order & has patiently guided us through the entire process.

This was a fairly complex project - five properties in total with two electricity meters. We had solar panels fitted with Naked Solar 8 years ago so I contacted them again for a second set of solar panels and 3 batteries. I also went out to a couple of other suppliers for quotes. Naked Solar were the only company who came back to me and were happy to deliver on such a complex job. It's been done so swiftly and efficiently. I've worked with several members of the team and found without exception that they are knowledgeable, professional, polite and fun. Special mentions to Zoe, Matt, Neil, Luke, Cav, Gary, and Reece. Thanks so much!

We recently had 19 solar panels and a Tesla battery installed by Naked Solar and couldn’t be happier with the service from start to finish.

Communication throughout the whole process was excellent — everything was explained clearly and thoroughly, and we always felt well informed. The reporting and documentation provided were detailed and professional, which gave us real confidence in the installation.

The installation team were polite, tidy, and respectful at all times, and the whole project ran smoothly and seamlessly from beginning to end.

We would highly recommend Naked Solar to anyone considering solar and battery installation.

Superb planning and service from Dominik and team and itemised costings for complete installation, also stage payments clearly stated.
The team of young men carrying out the installation were courteous, hardworking and kind, just completed the work in an exemplary way. A credit to your company.
I would highly recommend your company to anyone looking too add a solar system to their property.

I recently had a consultation with Naked Solar and, although I didn't proceed past that stage for several reasons, I came away genuinely impressed.

Sean was knowledgeable, unhurried, and completely free of any sales pressure. What stood out most was the refreshingly agnostic approach to equipment — there was no attempt to push a particular manufacturer or product range, but rather a genuine focus on understanding my household's actual usage patterns and designing a system that would work for my specific situation.

I use Home Assistant for home automation, and rather than glossing over this or dismissing it as irrelevant, Sean took the time to properly understand how it might integrate with a solar and battery setup before making any recommendations. That kind of thoroughness and honesty was truly reassuring.

I left the consultation confident that, had we proceeded, the installation would have been carried out to a high standard and with sound, impartial advice throughout. I would have no hesitation recommending Naked Solar, and I will be returning to them when our solar plans become viable again.

From the first initial contact with Morgan over the phone, to the installation carried out by Max, Sam, Jake, to dealing with the installation manager Joe, the whole process has been fabulous.
All the chaps have been consummate professionals, and I really couldn’t fault the in any way.
Whilst Naked Solar may not be the cheapest ( though still very competitive), they cannot be beaten on professionalism, service, attitude and conduct. They are well established in the solar game for a number of years, and going on my experience, you can see why!

Naked Solar are exceptional is what they do, from the first email and phone calls to the install and demo on how the system works. Thanks Morgan, Zach, Cavan, Rhys, Neil and Ben, we will be sure to recommend you guys in the future.

I contacted Naked Solar because I was worried about the quality and safety of a solar and battery installation carried out at my home by a national company. I had decided to use this company ( ESE Solar ) because their quotes were good and their reviews on TrustPilot were largely positive in their early days. But there were problems from the very first day of installation. Naked Solar have now carried out an assessment of the old installation and have removed all aspects of it that were unsafe. They have now installed a high quality system that is working well. In a nutshell here is what was wrong with the installation by ESE Solar:
1. They advised placing the battery storage in the loft which is a fire risk
2. They used cheap Chinese batteries and inverter
3. They did a poor job of installing the solar panels- drilling through the frames to attach bird proof netting which could potentially have voided the warranty on the panels
4. They installed too many panels on one string which overloaded the inverter which had to be replaced within a month
5. They then joined some panels from the string which was too big to a string on a different aspect on the roof, placing Tigo Optimisers on all these panels. ( these optimisers I have now discovered were unnecessary)
6. Four of these optimisers burnt out soon after installation so that the power generated by that string was greatly reduced
7. They did return and replace the four failed optimisers but didn’t investigate why that had happened, so after a couple of weeks they burnt out again
8. When I informed them that the same problem had reoccurred they said there was nothing wrong and closed the case I had raised
9. It is impossible now to speak to ESE Solar about any technical issue. Customers can only raise a ticket online. ESE are very poor at responding.
10. The electrician did not place any of the required safety labelling on any of the equipment
11. The electrical work did not meet regulatory standards and the cable work was poor
12. The consumer unit was left with open circuits
13. ESE sub contracts to other companies to do the installation. This means the quality of installation can vary. When I asked why the original electrician couldn’t return to fix the problems I was told verbally that ESE no longer used him because his work was substandard!

What a difference it has been dealing with a reputable local company! Right from early days of talking through the issues by phone and arranging a site visit through to the actual days of removing dangerous aspects of ESE’s work and doing a proper job of installation I have found every member of Naked Solar’s team to be friendly and professional. Even the scaffolders were nice people! I decided to keep my existing panels as they were still functional and fortunately the roof mounting system didn’t need replacing. The inverter and batteries were removed from the loft and I now have a Tesla Powerwall 3 which is sited externally. Job done. All I need now is some sunshine!

Naked Solar are not the cheapest supplier but it is the level of service that makes the extra worth paying for.
Starting with the initial sales contact, they listened to what what I wanted, made their recommendations during the design phase and delivered a superb system. Essentially I only wanted the minimum of Chinese components in the system and that's what they gave me.
Installation was delayed over Christmas (no suprise there) and a day or so in January for component delivery. I was kept informed, so it was not an issue.
The installers were professional, friendly and competent. There was a WiFi issue that made connection to the system an issue but Naked Solar installed a WiFi booster ar no additional charge.
Support has been spot on. Any questions asked were responded to knowledgably and promptly.
I strongly recommend Naked Solar.

Naked Solar were great to deal with from start to finish. Jake took the time to understand what we were wanting to get out of battery storage and once we'd decided to go ahead the installation team were great. They didn't leave until they'd thoroughly explained the system to us so we understood how it all worked. A great experience all round.
