Founded in Norway in 2017 by husband and wife team Jenny Gørvell-Dahll and Danuka Hewage, Nangi is proud to be Europe's first fine jewelry brand to use sustainable lab grown diamonds and rare colorful gemstones sourced directly from Sri Lanka. The name "Nangi" means "little sister" in Sinhala, reflecting our commitment to supporting young girls in Sri Lanka through our CSR efforts. Jenny's passion for jewelry began in Bergen, Norway, inspired by her mother's love for designing pearl jewelry. It was during many trips to Sri Lanka, where Danuka's roots lie, that the couple discovered the island's incredible wealth of precious gemstones. Known as "The Island of Jewels," Sri Lanka's vibrant stones sparked the idea of combining these colorful gems with the clean, minimalist designs of the Nordic aesthetic. And so, Nangi was born — a brand that brings together the best of both worlds. At Nangi, we specialize in creating unique, bespoke jewelry that celebrates life's most special moments. For those who prefer to browse or collect an order without booking ahead, our doors are also open every Thursday from 11:00–18:00, no appointment required.

Custom made and personal
I've had an engagement ring custom made with Nangi design, the whole process was just so nice and personal and the ring turned out amazing. So amazing in fact that we've had our wedding bands made by Nangi as well!

Custom sapphire ring
Got a beautifull custom engagement sapphire ring from Nangi. The design process, customer follow up and delivery of the ring was great! I got presented several options for sapphire stones, and Nangi made sure to find stones that best suited my preferences. The end product is gorgeous!

Gorgeous pear shaped ring
Jenny, has been really patient during design process of ring. She made sure I was thoroughly satisfied with my ring's design and selection for that she went through several options with me. The final design that was formed into a ring is an absolute beauty and piece you will adore for lifetime and can be passed to generations to come. I can't thank her enough for making this journey special. I am glad I chose Nangi for this important milestone in my life😊

my fiance bought my engagement ring from Nangi, and it is perfect! Love the design and not only do you get a perfect ring, you also support a good cause by buying a lab-grown diamond and 5% of their proceeds are donated to the operations of the Viharamahadevi orphanage🌲❤ will forever recommend :)
