It is very unfortunate when you are needing help and the business owners just don't care about their own customers satisfaction. I have spoken to 3 different people and only ONE cared enough to even try to solve the issue; which still isn't resolved. Even that person had no ability to find out what the problem was after giving her best effort. Their phones take you on the magical ride thru the prompt land to a dead end. They shun you off to the insurance company when it is their issue to be fixed. With so many negative reviews, that shows further evidence of their apathy.

Horrible company and website is broken mot of the time. Currently i can only see the last 30 days of transactions. When you call for help they always say they are sorry for the inconvenience of how their system works but they never fix it. The have a benefits pro app that tells you Ensure is approved but no matter which approved store i try to purchase it in the card refuses this item.

Nations Benefits should be controlled like the Snap/food stamp card. Able to be used at any retailer that sells food. One company that they do allow you to use the card at is Walmart. Walmart doesn’t think about stocking healthy foods, I asked where the unsalted peanuts are and was told we don’t carry them. Nations benefits seems to have bought in with Walmart and Kroger‘s and CVS the major retailers in the industry and to hack with the rest of the retailers, leaving people looking for healthy foods having to spend out of their pockets when our insurance companies are giving us that money and then turn. It’s coming from Medicare and Medicaid.

No matter what angle you look at Nations Benefits, they get negative stars. Awful website. Limited food choices. The prices are beyond RIDICULOUS $$$ on their website. IF you can get transportation to go shopping in your decrepit state, local stores listed on the website cannot get the card to work for basic items like meat and bread. Terrible prepared meals. If you need this benefit because you are in a sick and tenuous situation and have mobility issues and/or lack transportation, the injustice of being EXTORTED leaves such a bad taste in your mouth that you would hardly be able to choke down the food if you could finally navigate the labyrinth to get it into your cupboard. SHAME on Nations Benefits for taking advantage of a vulnerable population.

Tried to use nations benefit otc card at Walmart. Over 250$ worth each item pre scanned with app to verify approval. At checkout denied 4x. Called NB they said problem with Walmart effective this morning October 25th!! No text no notice in the app.

NEGATIVE 10 STARS.Absolutely HORRIBLE! Missing items in shipment. When I complained customer service said they would NOT send missing items or credit me missing items. When go to local drug stores no items are eligible. Total scam. Contact your insurance company and complain to the BBB. Won't help much but at least others will know how bad Nationsbenefits is.

This company runs like a racket! Really don’t deserve 1 star. To allow them as a benefit is a joke. They cost me more money every time I use the OTC benefit. I would advise people to be knowledgeable about this so called benefit for Price Gouging, limited use, making purchases which are charging surcharges and not getting refunds when the surcharges “should” be reversed back to the participant, especially when the participant is paying out of pocket! Be leary of Nations Benefits and associated stores such as Albertsons/Randall stores. If you have a dispute with these providers you get no response from them. I will not sign with this OTC benefit again until changes are made. Seniors on limited income sources are being taken advantage of, period! Someone at the FTC should look into their Over the Counter program. Shameful!!!

the online store is a rip off with double prices and the stores i am supposed to be able to use it in don't except it!

The utilities benefit worked without a hitch, although they made it effective on October 1, so I lost out on a 3rd Quarter benefit by 1 day...although they had the doctor's okay on September 29. The OTC is a real hassle, unless you want to purchase from the catalog ($4.50 for 8 oz. of hydrogen peroxide vs. $1.00 for 32 oz. at Walmart). So far, Equate hydrogen peroxide, Equate multivitamins, Equate omeprazole, Listerine mouthwash and Dr. Scholl's orthotics are the only things that pass the checkout test. Despite the app confirming eligibility, turmeric, fish oil and vaporizer were not qualified. According to Nations Benefits, it's because Walmart isn't inventorying items as OTC. My advice to Nations Benefits: take the business away from Walmart if they don't appropriately classify OTC products! And knock off the highway robbery in your catalogs!!! Meanwhile, I have 5 pair of shoe inserts, 3 42-packs of omeprazole, 2 bottles of hydrogen peroxide, 2 huge bottles of Listerine mouthwash and a 420-count bottle of multivitamins with an expiration date about 390 daily doses away. I have no idea how many shoes I'm going to need to buy in the next year for all of the Dr. Scholl's I'm going to have to buy!

My partner and I signed with Anthem insurance last year; our plan includes the NationsBenefit OTC card. Until a few days ago, everything was working at certain approved local stores, and then suddenly both cards stopped working. The CSR advised us to try other approved stores; nope, not working there, either. Another CSR suggested we use the local store's delivery services (at a cost of $8.50) or buy through NB's online portal which charges higher prices for brands we don't buy. No other solutions offered. We've effectively lost our monthly benefit.

I can no longer use it at my local hyvee very disappointed. Walmart has nothing but spoiled and rotten meats, fruits and vegetables

Eliminate good stores you can buy such as HEB so they can keep selling at high prices and poor services. Inquiring will put on hold on the phone forever hopefully you would hang up. Crooks. Poor uses of medical advantage debit card funds.

When scanning their app the item is covered at checkout not covered. I was advised from a NB rep to go to numerous stores to try and purchase the item. I asked for a list of eligible items, was told there is no list. Prices on their website 3 times amount as in store. Will not be renewing Geisunger insurance if they keep them.

My insurance company is ANTHEM. In June, I ordered 11 items from Nations Benefits and only received 10. When I contacted ANTHEM, they filed a claim for the one item missing but it was denied by Nations Benefits. When I contacted Nations Benefits they said that according to UPS the total box weight was correct for the 11 items. This one item I ordered was 12” X 24”. The box they shipped my order in was 10”x8”x8”. This claim was denied again, and Nations Benefits said they would not give me the item or a refund. We did a three way call with ANTHEM and still got nowhere with Nations Benefits. Spoke with two customer agents and a supervisor at Nations Benefits. When I asked who did their packing, I was told they were only a call center and they had nothing to do with the pulling, packing, and labeling of the OTC orders. When pressed, the supervisor at Nations Benefits finally admitted that they pull the orders, they do the packing, and they do the shipping. Supervisor could have cared less. I am out $40 and someone has a 12”X24” heating pad that belongs to me. I am wondering how many people do not use their OTC benefits because of the lack of integrity of Nations Benefits. Shame on you, NATIONS Benefits. We deserve better.

This company is another shady entity profiting off the government. Based in Florida ( surprised?) they don't tell their customers that they work on Eastern time, so if you order on the last day of the month and live in another time zone, Nations Benefits will take the following month's benefits and keep the previous month's money to themselves. CROOKS

I hate that Wellpoint is using Nations Benefits for its OTC products. Nations Benefits website is very over priced charging $7.00 for a carton of Almond Milk that is $3.00 in a grocery store is insane and unethical. The OTC card can only be used on the Nations benefits website you cant add the card to the Wallet of Walmart or Krogers which is crazy not all card holders can walk in a grocery store to shop it would be nice to have that issue fixed where the card can be used on other websites beside there own. The "Fresh Food" Market with Misfits is disgraceful we paid over $40.00 for about 8-9 pieces of fruit all of it was overly ripe it will not surprise me if this company have a lawsuit against them.

Completely embarrassed standing as we speak at my grocery crying going through bags as people stare at me trying to use their scanning app that doesn't work dividing my groceries up because I am $41.06 short because of products they won't cover that are a neccessary to survive this month for my family.
Have no idea what won't be covered because the receipt won't tell me and the scanner won't work never felt so ashamed in my life standing here being judged by an entire grocery store full of people wish I could afford to go home cancel my insurance and pack my things and move where nobody knows me 🥺.

If I could rate them lower I would. This is a total RIP OFF and Blue Cross lets them get away with it. The entire Blue Cross website works except the Benefits page, and if you call you wait over an hour to have someone tell you they can't hear hear you and then hangs up on you. RIPOFF!!!!!!

Ordering from this company has been a horrible experience! Most of the customer service reps are unprofessional The prices are much higher than pharmacy's in my neighborhood I ordered a moist heating pad One customer service agent said she never heard of that Which she should have kept to herself I requested a refund and they told me it was declined due to the “disclaimer” which says in so many words you may not get what you ordered no matter what is advertised Thats basically what happened to me with the product I ordered I put in a grievance They have the right one now! I can’t sit back and let people just get over on me I still haven't heard back Called today The supervisor who took my call after speaking to the agent last time about my order didn’t even put in the notes about a call back or anything. I’m still waiting This company needs to be looked into Something is not right Who is there to protect the consumer in cases like this? What I do not understand is if this is a benefit for elderly and disabled, why not make it easier for groceries to be delivered from local reputable grocers such as Walmart and Kroger. The only way the benefit card works is to literally go to the store. (Often difficult or impossible for elderly and disabled). Otherwise, you are stuck paying literally 5 to 10 times the normal price for substandard groceries. For example, one packet of Ramen noodle soup is $.20 in the store. But on the Nations benefit website it is $1.75!! Are you kidding me? This is the kind of government oversight we need especially governing Medicare and elderly/disabled. I’m sure the people who administer this benefit would not want this for their own elderly/disabled family members.
