My health insurance provider is Viva Health. Viva designates Nations Benefits as their OTC option. Nations online service is almost comical. They provide a "security" feature that blocks me out of their ordering process. When I submit the info they request nothing happens. There is no response . I click on the "enable" feature and there is no reply. I called Nations Benefits three times and they inform me it is all Viva's fault. They tell me they will put in a request with their "IT section" and it will be 7 to 10 days before it is resolved. As of today it has not been resolved. I cannot place an order although I follow Nation's instructions.
I addition, the hearing vendor Nations directs users to is less than professional. I tried using the vendor they recommended. They tested me, produced hearing aids, explained they only cost $2500 and expected me to make the purchase all within 30 minutes. I did not use this vendor and opted to pay an out of network audiologist without Nations assistance.

NationBenifits is a scam! Poor products,
food is junk, and sodium is high. Poor choices.
The markup is ridiculous. Many products are sold at the dollar store for half the price or less.
I don't know how these insurance companies contract with them.

I sure wish Anthem would go back to Walmart for OTC benefits as this place sucks! They have a horribly limited selection and then price gouges you severely for what they do have. Also, your also supposed to receive your order in 48 hours, yet it usually takes over 2 weeks!

Called ask for information about the card and where can I use it and was told to shop online. I might as well use this card at WALMART and go back to Humana. The person told me they worked for 20 years and had never had anyone ask them for places where i can use it around the area where live, and hung up the phone.

I wish Aetna would go back to CVS online ordering. Nation’s Benefits sells junk at 3 times the cost. Tum’s for $20? Forget about going into an approved store to use the card. Nothing is covered. Aetna do better.

Had trouble with my Nations Benefits card at a local gas station check the Nations Benefits App and seen (3) $50.00 pre- authorizations well it's been 96 hours 4 days and it hasn't been put back on my Nations Benefits card by the company who issued the card, bunch of Big Crooks . it's not the Local gas stations fault it's Nations Benefits problem not doing what's right, a lot of people in my area has had the same trouble with Nations Benefits card issues like this and the Crooks say one thing and the next time you talk to a different representative it's a total different story. Their supposed to help people but all they do anymore is bend you over and put it to you and they don't even use any Lubricant when they F-U-C-K you.if I don't get the $150.00 total back by the last day of October 2024 I lose it for good and this S-H-I-T

Going to be switching my insurer over these scamming buffoons. Jacked up pricing on their site on products. Talk about taking advantage of the elderly and disabled.

Everything I have ordered has an escalated price (double) and what’s available seems to be of low quality.

NEVER GOT THE CARD - after three attempts and still waiting months for another. Got a different explanation each time and the reps are rude and have no interest in solving issues. On one call I heard a baby crying in the background and people arguing. Money keeps getting deleted after the time allotted and I can never get a roll-over request processed. Shameful! Their 'products' prices are WAY more than reasonable and not worth buying. Don't expect much from Aetna as far as assistance either. This is a scam :( and Medicare is paying for it.

I find that customer service is sometimes very helpful and insightful, but other times totally misses the mark. With that said, when using my card at least at a local supermarket, Winn Dixie, recently I discovered to avoid a decline card situation, what I did was first put a small amount on a regular credit card, then run your nations benefit card on the remainder of the transaction. Worked like a charm. At least for me it did and it was the first time I tried it that way. So let's say your bill is $12.00 and you want to put it on your nations benefit card. But it gets declined or even leaves you with a balance for whatever reason, and that happens a lot at Winn Dixie. Take out another form of plastic payment..i.e. credit or debit card. Split the payment by putting 1.00 or 2.00 on that card. Tell the cashier to only put 1 or 2 dollars on your other card before your swipe that card. Then, on the remaining balance, swipe nations benefit card. It should go through and pay the balance. Hope this helps

My Medicare insurance company used Nation's Benefits for their OTC debit card. Very frequently this debit card did not work and most transactions were declined. Their customer service was completely useless in resolving issues and was often completely wrong in their recommendations. I actually switched insurance companies so I don't have to deal with them anymore. Also, their website had dated technology products that were very much overpriced. You will waste many hours of your time trying to get any help out of this company--ask me how I know...

Submitted receipt 12/30/2023 for reimbursement of eyeglasses that I purchased out of pocket for 482.00. It wasn’t approved until 03/06/2024… still have not received my check.When I call to find out where my check is they tell me I have to wait 60-90 days. When I did wait still did not receive but told it was mailed out but I never received it. They reissued it July 11, 2024 and told they would expedite it. It is now September 13, 2024. I called 3 times since and I was told I needed to wait 30 days, then I was told 45 days, then again I was told 45 WORK days… it is now 46 WORK days later and I now have to wait for a supervisor to call me back!!

I used my Flex card to buy groceries at Fred Meyer. Only half my order was paid for on my Flex card. Things that were declined were Post 100 percent whole grain shredded wheat, shredded carrots, shredded cabbage, and fresh packaged corn. I’m not sure why those items are not considered healthy.

Not worth 1 star. I was trying to get on. Then after no luck I checked to see if they were down!! Yes. System was hacked and millions were affected! They need to send us new cards with money loaded to use to get only the over counter items!!! I’m so frustrated as well as others. I can’t wait for open enrollment!!! It’s going to be a long wait!😡

Their new instacart accepts Nation benefits information but is nowhere to be found at checkout

I ordered a $55 fitness tracker that’s about $20 on amazon. No charger and the charging port broke almost immediately. No refunds after 30 days. I threw it away. Items they sell are often very cheap quality, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Order was received in a flimsy damaged box with a tear and hole that obviously, either 90% of the contents fell out, or was pulled out during transit. NationsBenefits declined to reship the contents since the box weight at shipment was correct. Horrible customer service. Would never recommend this company; wouldn't use them if it wasn't for our health insurance using them as a supplier.
