I'm just writing this review to put peace of mind ...I also couldn't get through by phone so I emailed company after the HMRC sent my tax refund to Nationwide ppi ..
I chased it up and got a reply asking to send my bank details so my funds could be bacs to me ..I did so and they said would be in my bank in 7 working days. I did become nervous because of bad reviews .but today I had a call saying my money had gone in today ...which it has .obviously they have taken a chunkof it at their percentage but to be fair I wouldn't of know about this refund from the tax people if it wasnt for them looking into it ...I hope this helps ...so definitely email this company..

Hi just writing to say that nationwide ppi advice just not long received my check from hmrc and I was bank transfered the money today take alot off but everyone knows that when they signed up so I'm happy with the quick service

They contacted more recently about what I was owed and updated me with the case through email!

I waited months and never heard a thing until HMRC contacted me saying they had sent them a cheque on my behalf.
I rang their number and not once did they answer so I left a message asking for a call back didn't happen.
I emailed them and got a reply asking for all of my bank details + photo I'd, needless to say I didn't give them any of this information but informed them I'd been in touch with my bank and that I wanted a cheque sent recorded delivery.
It arrived today by normal post and the thieving company took almost half of what was sent by HMRC.
STEER VERY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY
I've just had an email from them saying they take 33.3%+vat + £50 admin fee.
I've been asked by the company to review my post so here goes.
I recieved a call from them asking why I had written the review my answer was:-
That nobody from the company had bothered to contact me concerning my claim in the many months prior to settlement.
Nobody bothered to explain that they take 33.3% + £50 admin fee at the time of signing up.
Not being able to get any reply on the phone even when I requested a call back.
Not being notified that they had received a payment from HMRC so nothing was forthcoming until I contacted them via email.
The lady I spoke to said my comments would be passed on. Let's wait and see.
I'm now being asked for more information which isn't needed as anything that was said on my phone call with them is covered in my review.
As people can see I'm not the only person with a bad experience of this company so as far as I'm concerned the matter is closed.

genuinely shocked I was owed money, didn’t mind them taking their fee as long as it all got done properly, it did take longer than I expected but I wasn’t expecting any money at all until they contacted me so I can’t complain really,

I got an email from the HMRC in October that I was due a tax refund. They somehow got my details and got paid my tax refund of £804. I called the HMRC and I was informed that they sent my Tax refund check to the NNPIA on the 22nd of September 2023. I was given the NNPIA phone number. I called the NNPIA phone number and they keep ending the call and absolutely no other way to contact them as they do not respond to emails. I got a call from them and eventually, the issue was settled by Nicola. She is quite helpful
