They are a broker company. They will not be picking up your things in a Navistar branded van which they fibbed about. Instead, they will send a company that will drag your things out into the street and before loading up the truck, will squeeze more money out of you. After paying double the quote, they won't even deliver your items. The company they sent stole all of my things and left me with the clothes on my back. I moved across country and received nothing. FACTS!

They didn't provide any of what was promised. No help moving, didn't show at all to help. Following day, a truck, half the size needed and promised, showed up at 5pm with only a driver. WIthin the hour, 2 men showed up to help, hired as a day workers. One had no experience moving. One of the day workers wound up taking our piano to his house and it's still there! This is the biggest scam we've ever experience. They upped the price of everything just to get the rest of our stuff. Reported to DC and still waiting for them to investigate!

They are crooks, thieves , the worst company and the worst experience i ever had. Customer service is very rude they din’t care anything, they destroy my furniture and lost other parts, then asking for lots of more money than the estimates .stay away from this “company” , i hope this “company” disappear for good, i don’t know how this mfs sleeps at night

This is a total scam. I wish I could give it 0 stars. PLEASE avoid this company at all costs as you will get less than half of what they promise and pay the full charge they quote. They even come back for more. I have filed a formal complaint with the Federal gov and pray they shut them down. We lost over $6K!

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING WITH Budget moving company, Navistar Van Lines and Cobra Van Lines. WARNING TO ANYONE MOVING OUT OF STATE. I went in search for a company to move me from Colorado to Michigan. I thought budget was a good place to start because it is reputable and well known. When requesting a quote for my move from Budget somehow my quote was outsourced by another company called Navistar Van Lines. When I asked why they reached out opposed to Budget their response was because Budget was overbooked and they handled the overflow. Later I found out that Navistar Van Lines is not a moving company at all but a broker. They are assigned to bring in business at any cost and collect a non refundable cashiers check deposit. Navistar lied to me about multiple things throughout my booking including the estimated cost for my move. They quoted my one room very small move at $1800 and collected half up front in certified funds for the non refundable deposit. They under quoted my move $1700 just to book my move and collect my deposit. ALMOST DOUBLE! At that point Navistar transferred me over to Cobra Van Lines the day before my move. Cobra were the actual movers. I did not speak to them until they arrived to pick up my things. Once they loaded my belongings they added fees for stairs, distance from the truck to my front door and a packing box for my TV that was wrapped in moving blankets and plastic wrapped shut. They said TVs require a box and they charged me $100 for 1 box. They charged me $200 for having to walk more than 70 feet to the truck and they charged me $400 for extra space in the truck. Navistar way under quoted for space in order to obtain my business. They also said stairs and packing supplies were free which is just not true when the actual moving company shows up. Like most people I had no choice but to pay it because I had 24 hours to be out of my apartment and if I canceled with the movers I lost my $900 deposit with Navistar. Navistar told me the estimated time for my things to be delivered was 5-7 days which was a flat out lie. They also told me that I could pay the remaining balance with a debit or credit card when my belongings arrived given the fact that I was moving out of state and would not have a bank in this state quite yet. That was also a flat out lie. When I asked the Moving Company, Cobra, how long it would take to have my belongings delivered they quoted me 7 to 14 days. Once the 14 days hit I called and they said it was contracted that they have up to 30 business days to get my belongings to the new location. They used every single one of those 30 business days. I have been without my belongings for over a month. I finally got a call from Cobra saying my belongings had been loaded onto a semi and were headed my way. They asked if a semi was able to fit in my driveway. I live 300 feet off of a main road in the middle of the woods which I informed Navistar about from the beginning. Cobra (the actual moving company) told me if my belongings cannot be directly unloaded from the semi then I would have to pay over $800 to have it pulled off the semi, put on a moving truck, and delivered. Not only that but I could not pay for it on my debit card. It needed to be in certified funds or cash. They said if I did not have it at the time of delivery, in full in either cash or certified funds, that they would put my belongings in a storage unit and my belongings would be auctioned off in 30 days. Every single transaction with my move besides the initial sign up was upsetting and cost me hundreds of dollars. Anyone who is employed by Budget, Navistar Van Lines, and Cobra Van Lines should be ashamed of themselves. They all know exactly what they are doing. They are stealing from people who price shopped and are on a budget. They are stealing from elderly people, low income people, and single moms looking to move for a better life. The people who work for this string of scams are degenerate crooks and they belong in jail. They use the fact that they are in possession of you necessities, your family heirlooms, you children’s memories to squeeze money out of you or you lose everything you own. Things that mean nothing to them but everything to you. DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO THESE CRIMINALS. I am writing this in hopes that no one else has to go through what I did.

Order number # 2483584, gave me a different quote and different to the trucking company. Trucking company charged me the amount given to them, else they were not ready to give my belongings. Upon talking to Navistar, they said we will refund you the balance which was $500, and gave me the timeline of 30 days. Sarrah Coppola was the customer service representative. Its almost 6 months, I have called them at least 50 times, wrote 10 emails, the call goes to accounting department and they will answer either we are investigating, give us 30 days from your last call (means leave them for 30 days, else investigation days count will start from zero if you give them a call before 30 days of the last call -"funny") or we don't have any status.
Tried calling Relocation Specialist "David Miller" - he replied don't try to outsmart me, I have your number saved and you will not get your refund ever. This company should be banned immediately.

Do not use this company. I paid a deposit of $425 via Zelle and later decided to cancel my contract 24 hours later, within the allotted 72hours, to receive a refund. This happened in October 2022.. they promised to mail a refund check within 30 business days. It’s February of 2022 and despite calling/emailing multiple times I have not yet received the deposit. Better yet a moving company called me around the moving date I initially scheduled and he sounded confused when I said I cancelled the contract 2 months prior. Disgusting business.. they rob people! I don’t know how they are still allowed to do business!

SCAMMERS!!!! They give you a quote based on your items, but don't inform you how much truck space you actually get. On moving day, they charge you DOUBLE or keep your $1,500 deposit!!!

They will have you sign a contract and promise extras- free mattress bags, extra space in the truck, etc. then they will change the contract. They have no real business phone and everyone working there are scammers.

They are brokers that are quoting BS. I got a quote for a 1 bedroom move. I could have sold my thing after the drama and stress they caused. They demand cash or money order. No matter what they promise you. They do not contract out professional movers. Please save yourself a headache and money. Go to getting Pods or Uhaul.

Total scam. Ethan was super helpful (or so I thought) Booked them for a long distance move, decided to cancel after reading all the terrible reviews. Got about 25 phone calls after, zero legit response from me email. Two days later they tried to cash my check for thousands of dollars. Do not trust this company.

Joseph was aggressive to get my business and asked for a Zelle payment. The movers showed up and said they couldn’t do it. I asked for a refund and it’s been over 2 months. Every time I call or email Sarah - their customer service - she says it’s being sent to accounting. When I asked to talk with her manager, she said she reports to the owner. The whole thing wreaks of scam. Beware!

Complete FRAUD. They are broker. Not the actual mover. Do not use this company while moving. Anthony gave me estimate $3384. Ended up paying $6000 even though they didn’t take any of the boxes. Don’t rely on their words. They will deny everything during move.

Navistar: Do NOT recommend. The following is my experience being conned by this company.
After my first phone call with Navistar, I was very excited to use them. I spoke with a very friendly man named Jason, roughly 3 months before our expected move date. We were moving from Wisconsin to Georgia and our new house would be available to us June 10th. We wanted our things picked up at any point during the 2 weeks prior. I am a planner and had all our boxes counted and our furniture empty, staged, and ready to go. Jason quoted me and great price and assured me that I had called far enough in advance that our dates would be easy to accommodate within a day or 2. I put down a large deposit and was READY. They called again the week before the move and again the day before the move to confirm everything was on track. The. The day of the move….no one showed up. We called repeatedly and were told they may show up as late as 4pm…so we waited…and no one came…
Navistar is a brokerage, meaning they do not move you; they link you with a moving company. However, that moving company may not be professional or reputable. In our experience, the moving company did not show up the day they were scheduled (they believed they had been cancelled so apparently Navistar does not confirm) and the next day, 2 men who were obviously under the influence of alcohol and likely something else, showed up in a filthy, rusted out truck that was CLEARLY not big enough. We learned then that Navistar also WILDLY underquotes you. What they do not tell you (while you are listing out everything you own and they are making their BS quote for you) is that whatever company they may set you up with, does the calculations their own way. The sketchball that showed up at our house informed us that we would owe $5000 MORE than quoted. When we contacted Navistar, they told us it was not their issue and was up to us to work directly with company. So, we negotiated the amount down (so we thought), the “movers” packed up a large portion of what we owned, broke or damaged most of it (NOT an exaggeration) and took 1 load to storage, after which they told us we owed them $1200 more to take the rest of it. They held out belongings hostage. Still not Navistar’s problem apparently, despite being the only reason we had been set up with these people. The movers showed up late, were at our house until 1am, and required constant supervision. During all their breaks, they went to the truck and drank. We could see them. They had to be reminded multiple times not to do things like drag our furniture across concrete (our furniture is all trashed). They returned late the next day, without moving blankets, in a rented U-Haul because apparently, they didn’t have a storage facility for the 1st load, so it was just in their rusty truck…at some random location. They had to leave again shortly after arriving to get the aforementioned moving blankets and finally took the remainder of our possessions with them, late in the day…to…”storage”. This was 3 days after they were originally scheduled.
Our original contract said they would pick up our belongings on a Sunday and that they would be delivered the following Sunday or Monday. We anticipated a slightly later delivery seeing as how our belongings were not picked up several days late. Navistar (again) told us it was up to us to work directly with the company they had our money now so why would they help us? In the end, our belongings were dumped in a U-Haul storage facility where they stayed for 2 months. The moving company was uncertain of how to open the doors since the driver and his assistant did not tell them what they had done with the keys, and we were in our new house, with no furniture. We had to go shopping since we did not have professional clothing for work, kitchen ware, towels..nothing. We eventually stopped calling Navistar as they repeatedly told us it wasn’t their problem. We have since received most of our belongings, but our bicycles never arrived (guessing they were stolen by the winners that picked our stuff up) and the moving company does not answer the phone or return our calls. We ended up paying more than we would have had we used a reputable mover AND had a horrible experience that lasted MONTHS. Thanks, Navistar.

Anthony told me all I need was $655 down they would pick up my belongings from storage unit when truck got to my unit they called and said that I need to send them another $650 when the deal was that the store my belongings free for 45 days then I pay the remainder and the truck was already in CT refuses to refund my money refuses to pickup and store my belongings DON’T TRUST A WORD THEY SAY

I will say that R&M trucking was extremely good with customer service and the guys who did move and saved the day

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU TRACK YOUR ITEMS AND MAKE PROMISES THAT ARE NOT TRUE.

Do not trust this company. Hired them for door to door across the country move. They sub contracted a unknown company -a simply life-from Chicago who sent out 3 men. The only one who could speak English was a severe schizophrenic who could not speak and had severe dyskinesia’s or he was on something. They wanted more money for shipping containers but could not communicate size and did not have them available either. They were going to take my property to a warehouse in Illinois and pack it into crates and they had no idea where this warehouse was located. They also had no idea when the property would arrive in Utah.
They kept trying to get additional signatures for financial responsibility. We called Navistar and the agent who was on the document said he never spoke with me as they confuse documents with wrong agent names.
We called the police and sent them away. Navistar offerred to send another crew, but our time was limited as in 2 days we needed to be in Utah working so we declined. We moved ourselves with a Uhaul from Michigan to Utah.
They declined refunding my 2K deposit.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
They lie and steal your money. Its a scam.
