Excellent service, training and value for money from Martin at NC Skills. The training was well balanced with informative direct training, good conversational and scenario based training as well as group interaction sessions. The class size was ideal and the pace just right. Location with parking was ideal, to top it all off the coffee was decent too!

Came all the way from Croatia for a NEBOSH GC course and had a wonderful time in Glasgow. Martin is a very experienced lecturer and with enough experience that he can back any theory with a real life example. Course is cleverly structured with a lot of team work and sharing of experiences. I passed the exam from the first go and I recommend NC Skills to everyone interested in NEBOSH.

I passed the Nebosh certificate in OHS with a credit pass.
Martin delivered the course in a straight forward and easy to follow way that you pick things up quickly and don't feel overburdened.
All the training material to pass the course is provided for you so there are no additional costs involved after fees.
I highly recommend Martin and this course if you want to pursue a career in H&S. I hope that in the future NC Skills consider providing the Diploma in OHS. If they do I will be returning for further training with Martin. He's a great guy and an amazing tutor.

Martin is an excellent teacher, he has a way of putting a relatively dry subject over in an entertaining way. The examples he uses to explain any points were amusing. The location is very handy, good access and parking. Facilities are very good. I would highly recommend NCSkills and especially Martin

The Nebosh training course provided was excellent!

Martin was able to make complex topics accessible to all and created an engaging learning environment by using a range of methods. His depth of knowledge of the topic was obvious which improved the learning process.

I can't recommend NC Skills highly enough. The course content and presentation is first class. This is fantastic value for money! This is not an easy course so be prepared to put the work in if you want to pass. Martin delivers the course professionally and makes everyone feel at ease. It's also a huge benefit that he has actually worked in the real world therefore has extensive experience that he can share with everyone. Excellent!!!

I was unsure of which training provider to go to for NEBOSH but I am very glad I chose NC Skills. The class sizes were small which I liked, but large enough to promote good discussions. The course was engaging and at no point did I feel like it was powerpoint overload.

Anyone that’s thinking about doing Nebosh should look no further than Martin. He has a firm grip on the subject and he’s able to gauge when to push you a bit further or when to take a step back and let the information sink in. I found that it was a lot to try to take in, but he knows when to break up the class from the power point presentations to do group exercises which (looking back on it) definitely makes learning easier.

This is an excellent training provider and the NEBOSH General Certificate course I attended was competitively priced. Don't let that put you off however as the course was very well run and covered all of the required material in an effective manner. The course tutor, Martin, has a firm grounding in Health and Safety work and brings his experience to bear during the course. All attendees are encouraged to participate and contribute and Martin's recommended learning method is very effective (I managed to pass with credit!) His advice on how to tackle the GC3 practical exercise was invaluable. I have no hesitation in recommending NC Skills as a training provider.

I did the NEBOSH General certificate with NC skills after considering a lot of other providers. Like a lot of people I was a bit wary due to the much lower price. All I can say is it is the best value you for money you could wish for. The venue is excellent and Martin makes the subject very interesting from his obvious passion for people to do well. I know a lot of people who said NEBOSH is death by PowerPoint but with this provider it most definitely is not. If you are considering any Health and Safety training then look no further than NC Skills.

I did the Nebosh general certificate and whilst it's not the easiest of subjects Martin was able to make it enjoyable and relate it to every day day situations. Despite feeling overwhelmed with the volume of information I felt supported throughout the course and was able to ask questions, discuss concerns and clarify points without feeling silly. I would advise anyone looking to study Nebosh to go with NC Skills as the course is comprehensive, broken down into a manageable workload and extremely well supported throughout.

Very well presented course, relaxed atmosphere and targeted towards setting the attendees up for passing exams and practical assessments.
Martin, the presenter, is clearly passionate about Health and Safety and has a lot of experience which he puts to good use throughout the course.

When researching a provider for the nebosh general certificate NC Skills was by far the best priced course around. Martin the course trainer was excellent very knowledgeable and utilised different teaching methods such as group work, power point and videos to keep students engaged. The homework and exam practice questions provided as well as tips from Martin on how to interpret the exam questions was invaluable in helping me pass the exams. Excellent course Excellent course provider and Excellent trainer, would highly recommend NC Skills.

Went into NEBOSH with no confidence in my ability, as although I had worked in Health & Safety for 18 years in an administrator role, I was totally out with my comfort zone. Martin was excellent from Day 1 and his belief in me and constant encouragement got me through it. Passed all 3 exams and I am absolutely over the moon.

I originally booked the NEBOSH certificate course for the middle of March but sadly my father passed away 2 days before the course was to start. Martin the training manager was more than generous and allowed me to re-book from a choice of other dates. I took the course in May and sat my exam in June.
The course was excellent pitched at the right level, it's hard work but Martin takes you through it with many exercises, group sessions, videos and many real world stories and examples (you won't get any of this as distance or e-learning).
There is a lot of homework but it is worth it as it really sets you up for the exam.
All aspects of the course are first rate, venue, course materials and tutor. All you supply is the time.
If you can take a month out to do this 2 weeks for the course then a further 2 weeks to study for the exam. Then 2 further weeks to prepare your final report. You really need the time to do this properly. But I could not suggest a better way to do it.
Last point and I can't stress this enough, I financed this myself, not through my employer and this is the best value for money way to study for this qualification out there and I spent a number of months prior to booking researching this. Be reassured this is the real deal and you won't regret booking with NC Skills.
