I found the Nearly New Cashmere Co online, when I was looking for someone to repair a well-loved cashmere jumper that had 3 small moth holes. Angela emailed me immediately on receipt of my item, and repaired and returned it within a week. The repair is amazing! You would never know it was ever damaged. I had thought that my jumper was destined for the bin - I am delighted! Thank you.

I bought some scarves from Nearly New Cashmere Co., and honestly, they’re so posh I feel like I should be paying council tax on them. There’s a Cartier one, a Burberry one, a Gucci one, and some other fancy names I can barely pronounce. They’re all made of silk, which is that really smooth material that’s like posh toilet paper but for your neck.

I don’t know much about fashion, but I do know that when I wear one of these, I look like the sort of person who drinks champagne for breakfast and knows how to pronounce “hors d'oeuvres” without panicking halfway through. They’re so fancy I was worried I’d get mugged by someone with better taste than me.

The packaging was nice, too—felt like opening a really expensive present, except I paid for it myself. And they arrived quickly, which was good because I was worried they’d get lost in the post and end up being worn by some delivery driver who didn’t appreciate the cultural significance of Gucci.

Anyway, if you want to look rich without actually being rich, or you just want to swan about the house feeling posh, buy these scarves. They’re great.

One of the items I ordered was a mustard poncho, the colour and quality of the cashmere was as expected.
The second item I ordered was a sand coloured wrap, this will be returned as the quality of the cashmere is poor, it’s so thin you can see through it. Delivery of both items was very fast.

Great quality cashmere sent quickly. I bought a cashmere wrap which looks brand new and also some bed socks which are really long, and identical to some I bought from a big brand retailer over Christmas but which cost £80 more than the ones from nearly new cashmere. So pleased. Will definitely buy from again.

Their cashmere is wonderful; speedy delivery; excellent communication, straight forward and simple returns process, if needed. Their Instagram profile is infectiously enthusiastic.
Their sustainability ethics, to reuse wherever possible and buying ends of lines, is refreshing in the current climate.

I bought a pair of men's large fingerless gloves and received a pair small enough to be a child's,with various stitching faults.
I took photo's & contacted NNCC who insisted I return for them to "carefully inspect and decide if the gloves were faulty".
They sent me a QR code to return them and informed me that "After careful inspection the gloves were not found to be faulty".
Following this they took a return fee,the cost of return p&p And the p&p I had originally paid,which apparently is non-refundable and the refund I received was around half of what I had paid.
They treated me with suspicious disdain,were highly defensive from the start and I ended up quite out of pocket,with no gloves and a sour taste.
Beware of their sharp practice.They will smile and be the homespun enviromentaly sound "small business" in public.Behind the facade they are a huge company who just want your money and get nasty if you want a refund.

I looked on several websites before deciding on Nearly New Cashmere and I really made the right choice. Angela is highly skilled, an excellent communicator and I am thrilled with the repair on my blanket. She suggested different options listing the pros and cons of each before I went ahead with my decision. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Ordered from Canada, product was delivered as expected, no additional fees - they clearly said all duties etc was included in the price and it was exactly as they said. As someone who orders occasionally from abroad, it's not always easy to order interntationally, and I have sometimes been stung with unexpected bills upon delivery. So that's one reason to trust them. Second is the product itself. The pictures are clear, models are "normal" humans, so how an item sits on someone is clearly shown and the quality of the item I ordered was perfect. Thank you for a great environmental and cost effective way to buy clothes.

I came across this website/store pretty recently, but I love the concept (and cashmere) so much I had to give it a try. The website is well constructed and easy to navigate; loads of different items well categorised and easy to find thanks to the helpful filters. Plenty of beautiful cashmere for all sizes and tastes, in all colours.
A big plus is the vintage silk scarves page (go and have a look at it yourself: you'll find some gems, such as Hermes, YSL, as well as lesser known designers): gorgeous pieces, not cheap, but definitely cheaper than if bought brand new.
All items, cashmere or silk scarves, are in pristine condition.
The cashmere that is too old or unusable is recycled to make lovely gloves, of which I own 2 pairs already.
All in all, it seems like a well thought-out small business with a family feeling that is also highly functioning: quick shipping, loyalty scheme, possibility of returns and refunds.
I really like that, when there's a brand new drop of vintage silk scarves or cashmere items, you'll be notified via email and/or sms as soon as they're available to buy online.
Nearlynewcashmere.co.uk is indeed worth a visit.

They sold me a faulty fabric shaver and wouldn’t refund or send me another one until I’d sent it back , waited for them t possibly send it back. They clearly have ongoing problems with the product as they admitted that in the email and sent me a troubleshooting. I did this and it still didn’t work . Really they should send another one and then I send it back . Otherwise I’ll be waiting for it to be sorted .if they’ve had issues before which they clearly have they should have a no quibble refund policy .

Great website with accurate and easy to understand sizing. Shipped and delivered within 24 hours of my purchasing the two items. Items arrived packaged nicely and products exactly as described. Lovely cashmere at good prices. Would buy from Nearly New Cashmere again.

I have purchased several items (Cashmere and Silk) and have been delighted with each one. The new shipping is quick and the unboxing is a fun moment leading up to the reveal. I keep finding more items to buy there.

Lovely vintage silk scarves but I think customer service needs improvement for when things go wrong. I have bought several silk scarves from Nearly New Cashmere to add to my collection in the last six months but certainly do not feel they value me as a customer.
There have been several issues with incorrect descriptions and mistakes with prices which has meant I wanted to return some scarves but the process always seems hard going with more errors being made particularly around the postage. This has wasted my time and made me question whether to buy from them again.
The latest example was when I returned a scarf which was £30 over the price quoted on Instagram and I was given free return postage as it was the company's mistake. However, I was charged postage anyway and it took three emails to resolve.
The worst thing is staff come across as defensive and as if the customer is in the wrong in emails. This is totally at odds with the friendly and helpful presence they project on social media.

I was looking for a new company to purchase my cashmere recycled gloves from after my usual company changed... hands (!).

I found the correspondence from The Nearly New Cashmere Co. to be swift, accurate and extremely helpful, even sending me photos to confirm my thoughts about shades.

The gloves arrived in 2 days and they are absolutely lovely. I splashed out on a reversible pair giving me extra options with colours as well as extra thickness.

I often keep my gloves on when playing the piano and other instruments so I hope to get masses of use from this gorgeous blue and pale orange pair.

I will most definitely be using this company in the future.

I have had 6 beautiful jumpers from NNC and each has been excellent. I particularly like their use of set models for each size range so you get an accurate idea of the fit on yourself. Customer service is also excellent with speedy delivery and guidance on washing / caring for your cashmere.
NNC is my go-to place for cashmere at an affordable price. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
