I came across Neighbors Bank via Internet. I usually skeptical about trying the "pop up in you feed" banks. This one time, I decide to step out in Faith. I somehow got aligned with Ms. Tasha Williams.
Tasha is dream! Her professionalism is unmatched. I told her what I wanted and would like to happen, respectfully, and she made it happen. She made it happen! 😊
Tasha is still one of those representatives that treats you like a "customer/client." She knows what she's doing and goes hard for her customers. Her love for God, humanity and what she does, explains why she's Great!
Times are a bit tuff for everyone. It's a breath of fresh air to be aligned with someone, a team, that works too accommodate you/us the consumers. I'm so grateful.

From the very beginning of the process Joey Mirth was very pleasant and great to work with. He was very informative and kept me up to date throughout my entire home buying process. He is honest and very reliable. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Any doubt I had any confusion I had Christina Jordan did a great job. I applied for the loan on 16 July and I closed on my house last Friday, which I think was the 22nd so it took us less than a month. If you could pick your loan officer I highly recommend her. One plus is everything was done online. Back in the day you had to go to a bank and sit down and then bring your documents. The only time I met with anyone was at my closing.
I read some reviews about bad communication. Not her. As soon as I sent an email. She responded to me. Even on a Sunday!!

We got the house of our dreams! Lots of space and most of all we can have the pet we never could renting. Neighbors bank is very kind, helpful and friendly, we felt they were there for us beginning to end in every way possible. It was a wonderful experience and we couldn't be more excited to own our home!

Neighbors bank drug out the loan process from February until July. They were always wanting something extra. Instead of giving us a list up front each week it was something more. Than they told us the under writer quit and we had to start all over. Than they informed us that we needed to come up with an additional 6000.00 dollars on top of the 13000.00 they already required for a down payment. We were being charged an inducement charge of 26.30 a day which no one ever informed us of. Bad Business please read the small print.

As a first time home buyer, going into the process is intimidating. I worked with other mortgage companies and it just didn’t seem fit, until I found Neighbors Bank. From the first phone call to closing, they have been nothing but helpful and kind. Joshua answered all my questions and made sure I understood every step of the way and made the entire process flawless and dare I say, easy. I wish I could give this company and its staff more stars, I will be recommending them to anyone who may be searching for a mortgage company!

Melissa and Charles are absoluetly fantastic. True professionals to work with. The communication was spot on. Timeliness responses. Wonderful to speak with, and very knowledgeable.

In the beginning and all the way to the end. Jason Reddy was on it. Jason communicated with my realtor about my loan and help us with what suited my needs.
The website that Neighbors Bank has was easy for such a simpleton as I. Know, I'm not such a simpleton and have the knowledge that will help me throughout my ownership of a new home. All because of the gentleman named Jason Reddy and the wonderful Neighbors Bank.

From everything I’ve read online and even through people you know you always hear “homebuying is such a pain” “be prepared to be disappointed” etc. etc.

Never once was did I feel disappointed, stressed, or dissatisfied while working with Justice from Neighbors Bank. I could not have wished for an easier person to work with throughout my entire FHA home buying process. We literally went from preapproved to closed in 32 days on the dot. I would highly recommend Justice and her team to anyone with zero hesitation. Literally the best lender ever!

I am a recent customer of Neighbors Bank. My loan officer was Christian Gentil.

Christian Gentil was the most unprofessional, incompetent loan officer I have ever dealt with. He disappeared for days during a critical closing period without arranging coverage or notifying clients. When I followed up after receiving no response, he clapped back at me unprofessionally, claiming he had been out for surgery. That is not an excuse — a professional arranges coverage for active files before going out.

When I raised documented, legitimate concerns in writing, his response was: 'Most of what you emailed is not the case.' In a single sentence he called me a liar, dismissed every concern I had raised, and completely discredited me as a client. It was one of the most dismissive and disrespectful responses I have ever received from a professional in any industry. He then attempted to move the conversation to a phone call — away from written documentation — a tactic designed to control the narrative and avoid accountability. I refused.

His fundamental misunderstanding of basic IRA tax withholding mechanics directly caused my closing to miss its June 1st date. He did not understand the difference between a gross distribution and a net deposit on a Traditional IRA. That is not advanced knowledge — it is fundamental to qualifying retirement income for a mortgage.

I was ultimately assigned to senior officers at Neighbors Bank who resolved the matter professionally. The bank president himself approved my loan. My loan officer should never have been the obstacle.

Christian Gentil has a public record of this behavior. He is not someone you want handling your most important financial transaction.
