I ordered a birthday cake from your company and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The cake arrived damaged, the taste was terrible, and it was far too dry. I specifically ordered a pistachio filling, but it clearly wasn’t what I requested.

For £70, the cake was absolutely not worth the money. I contacted your customer service to request a refund, but I received no response at all, which makes the situation even worse.

I would not recommend ordering from here. I hope you address these issues and respond to customers properly.

Ordered cake on 9th August (452370 FOR DELIVERY 21st August. They took my money & confirmed order by e-mail & nothing else. Now 24th August no cake delivered No communication from New cakes. I've e-mailed, Phoned & only got voicemail so left yet another message. STILL NOTHING, Is this a scam company because they've got my £68 but I've got NAFF-ALL. So much for cake on my sister's 90th Birthday. They need lessons on customer Service & fraud!!!

From first contact to delivery the process was simple and the cake, well it’s “WOW”!!!
I asked Shay if he could make a cake in the shape of a Guinea Pig for our granddaughters 6th birthday
Off course he said. I sent him an image and left the rest to him.

My son was delighted with his ‘plug, socket & screwdriver cake’ – to celebrate him qualifying as a ‘gold card’ electrician. I asked if the predominantly white cake could possibly feature some gold/yellow icing, to represent the gold card, and Shay from New Cakes kindly obliged (text messaging me first to clarify my request). The cake was despatched quickly and delivered early on the morning of our family celebration. My son spent ages enthusing about it and even said the fondant icing wiring was pleasing from a technical point of view - ha. The chocolate sponge tasted delicious. Very happy with this purchase.

I have just received an absolutely beautiful cake from New Cakes, cake very well packaged, delivery tracking was spot on, I cannot thank these guys enough at New Cakes, I had laced order then next day I saw another cake on their website that I had not noticed first time when browsing before placing my order, I emailed New Cakes asking if my cake order could be changed but if it could not that would be ok, I received a phone call from New Cakes to let me know they had received my email and to double check which cake I would like, I also had asked if delivery date could've brought first by one day, that was on Monday and today, Wednesday, I received the most beautiful cake, how is that for first class customer service, a rare trait these days,these guys went above and beyond to deliver my request, I cannot praise them highly enough, they care about their customers and I will definitely be ordering from New Cakes and I am highly recommending New Cakes to anyone looking to order with these guys, the range of cakes are best I've came across, beautiful cakes to suit all occasions and all tastes, fantastic range, give New Cakes a try and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I ordered the cake at short notice. Ordered Thursday requesting delivery for Sat am. The customer service was brilliant. My property is difficult to find so they added extra information to the outside of the box. The cake decoration was excellent. The cake itself was fresh and tasted beautiful, vanilla sponge with butterscotch cream. I would definitely use again and recommend Newcakes. Thankyou for your service.

Recently ordered Paw Patrol cake for my niece. Was a little hesitant at first after spending almost £90 as I hadn’t ordered a cake through the post before. Nothing to worry about though ! The cake looked amazing and tasted lovely. Niece was super happy and I’ll definitely order again, thanks

I ordered a shoe and bag cake for my friend. I made special requests, as in colour of icing and flavour. My cake arrived a day early thankfully. Despite the excellent packaging, the shoe had collapsed. The icing colour was wrong as was the flavour. I had a nerve wracking few hours trying to contact the company. A lovely young man finally rang. Very apologetic. He promised a new cake for the next day but advised not including a shoe. I agreed and was very happy with the replacement. Both cakes were delicious but I don’t think I will use again.

Ordered a cake based on their reviews. Really regret it. I received a monstrosity. I couldn't give it as a gift. I complained and was offered 25% off. When I replied I was ghosted. No cake as a gift and no refund.

For the price I paid for the cake I expected more from it. Yes the sugar craft is great but next to no cake. The thickness of the icing was way to much.
If you want a cake based on design then go for it.
