I hjave now had several birthday cakes from New Cakes and every one has been fantastic. Their communication are brilliant and are always happy to give you a price for adaptations or for bespoke cakes. I have had one or two issues with deliverues but would stress that none of these issues were down to New Cakes but ddespite in not being their fault they have gone out of their way to resolve the issue and make things right. Excellent product and customer service.

We absolutely loved the jungle cake made for my son’s 2nd birthday party! The cake looked amazing and the attention to detail in the decorations was incredible, it really brought the whole jungle theme to life. The custard filling was absolutely delicious and everyone commented on how lovely the cake tasted as well as how beautiful it looked.

Everything was exactly how I imagined it would be, and it was delivered right on time which made the day so much less stressful. The customer service was fantastic from start to finish, so friendly, easy to talk to, and really helpful throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again!

Absolutely wonderful! I was very nervous about having a cake shipped but it turned out well! It arrived midday which was good due to my event being later in the evening. The cake was very good and moist! I requested a design and with what I ordered, they replicated it as best as possible. I am very happy with choosing New Cakes!

From the start of the processing of the order was so straight forward and easy to do. From the choice of fillings , candles and message. Once ordered I was able to choose the delivery day, which is a bonus. Received confirmation straight away. . On the day of delivery Received notification and delivery time slot. My experience at first was no confidence as didn’t get my cake on the day they had stated I would receive it when O ordered it and there was zero communication from New Cakes. Thee is a number and a chat bot but I was unable to get any answers through these channels so this service could be improved. I strongly suggest if you order from New cakes you ask for deliver to be a day or two before you need the cake. I received my cake on the Saturday morning instead of on the Friday by 7pm latest.

However, putting the delivery aside I was blown away by the cake. I ordered the stack of books cake and the website said I could personalise this which I did for one of my daughter’s books. The cake was for her 18th birthday party and it didn’t disappoint. My daughter and her friends were amazed by the cake, it really exceeded all my expectations. I will definitely order from here again in tbe future.

Shay and the team were able to make a bespoke cake at short notice (less than 2weeks). All communication was good, cakes were delivered on requested date, well packaged. Recipient and family loved it.

Cake did not arrive on the day requested.
On the day of expected delivery, I contacted customer services who did not respond to my email. However, shortly afterwards, I received an email from DHL stating they had just received details of my order! Surprisingly!
Cake arrived a day late the next day. Very different to the picture on their website.
Extremely disappointed with both customer service and product.

My wife does not have a sweet tooth and so I contacted Shay to see if there were any alternatives to the buttercream fillings that were available on the website, and without hesitation he said 'of course!' The cake arrived on time and in perfect condition, and, of course, was delicious!

NewCakes made a quite complex bespoke cake for our son’s birthday at very short notice. It looked truly amazing, and our son was absolutely thrilled. It also tasted delicious.

Ordered a Rolex cake for my son's 21st. Hadn't used the company before and was absolutely delighted with the service. The communication was reassuring from the start, the delivery exactly on time and the quality of design and taste of the cake was perfect. Will definitely order again!

My son was 18 at the weekend and wanted a special 'snake cake' as my son works with reptiles, most bakers wouldn't do it they said its too hard but new cakes were amazing from start to finish the cake was incredible!! My son and everyone loved it and tasted lovely!! would not go any where else!

As a returning customer, I ordered a bespoke cake from New Cakes for my mum’s 90th birthday and was delighted. Shay helped refine the design, creating a beautiful cake just as we’d hoped. It tasted amazing, arrived on time, and was safely delivered. Guests loved it—so much so I was asked multiple times who made it! My only suggestion would be to include business cards. I’ll definitely be back.
