I remember this brand from childhood having had irons, toaster and kettles over the years.
My issue is with a split seal on my Fridge freezer purchased approx 9 months ago. The service follow up was prompt asking me to send pictures of my applicants in situ. Once l had done so their tone changed and because my appliance did not have a minimum of 5cm clearance all the way round the seal had probably overheated causing it to split. Or l had damaged it myself. I advised them the seal was for the fridge part and was surrounded by fresh air so surely it couldn’t overheat. When l asked them how l could have damaged in myself purely by opening or shutting the door they declined to comment. If l need a new seal l will have to pay for it.
They were polite but unmoving. They were not prepared to replace it under warranty as l had contravened their terms of use.

Ik had water opgezet en ging even iets uit de oven halen in de keuken. 2-3 minuten later kwam ik terug en toen stond de waterkoker IN BRAND ! Er druppelde al gesmolten plastic BRANDEND op de grond. Ik kon het vuur nog net op tijd doven met een handdoek. LEVENSGEVAARLIJKE ROMMEL Het water was wel goed heet geworden.

Very dissappointed to have to leave negative feedback but here goes I purchased a steam generator iron it had a 2 year warranty unfortunately after not very long the tank started to leak so I contacted them and good enough they replaced it a few months later the replacement started to do the same thing another few months on and my third iron is doing the same thing but they have refused to replace it because my guarantee for the first iron had expired but this iron is only a few months old and has a warranty till 2027 it doesn't work like that the guarantee is only on the first iron - I find this unbelievable I will never buy Russell Hobbs again

J’ai acheté un cuiseur de riz en mai 2023 sur Amazon. Il tombe en panne en octobre 2024. Je fais jouer la garantie et je reçois un appareil de remplacement qui après un mois présente le même soucis. Je refais jouer la garantie et ils me renvoient le même produit en janvier 2025. Aujourd’hui 20 février 2025 ce deuxième appareil de remplacement présente les même symptômes que les précédents!

Customer service just tell lies
Bought a kettle and toaster,kettle broke after 1 day, contacted RH who wanted video evidence, we then had to return the kettle before they would replace it. After several phone calls, emails, messenger and Facebook comments, we still don't have a replacement. We have again made contact and now returned the toaster and asked for a full refund.
Customer service is absolutely rubbish, they are not UK based and fob you off with, It will be sent out in 3 to 5 working days. This is the standard reply every time we make contact with them. I can see us having to try claim our money back through the credit card company or small claims court.
Do not buy direct, in fact do not buy Russell Hobbs products, they are cheap and nasty.

Wir haben eine Kaffeemaschine gekauft und mussten sie nach 4 Monaten reklamieren.
Haben uns direkt an den Service gewannt. Ein sehr netter Mitarbeiter hat uns zum Fehler befragt, ein Formular übermittelt und wir haben direkt eine neue Maschine zugesandt bekommen. Toller Service, echt zu empfehlen.

We had a warranty case. The small mixer had broken down, the plastic gear was broken. I contacted customer service by email. I described the problem there. Unfortunately, a repair was not offered. Russel Hobbs unscrupulous…
Russel Hobbs is an unscrupulous company. My product was still under warranty and sent image of faulty product and receipt. After about six emails they refuse to replace the product. I had glass electric kettle that shattered while boiling . There was glass everywhere (quite dangerous really) . I took a picture and sent to them and of course I got rid of the kettle because I can’t keep this around my children. Their lame excuse was ‘Uh you got rid of the product- but the product was dangerous and I had the image I sent to them. Very disappointed ☹️ . Shame on Russel Hobbs!!! .

Had an issue with my coffee machine, and Russell Hobbs replaced it quickly and without any hassle. The process was smooth, and their customer service was really helpful.
I'm fed up with disposable appliances!
A few years ago I decided to replace an old Electrolux washing machine, which was over 10 years old when it was given to us a further 10 years ago. After only a few years of light use, the drum spider on the replacement Russell Hobbs machine broke in 3 places. I contacted the manufacturers, who recommended that we scrap the machine because they could not supply replacement parts. From what I can tell, drums and spiders are fairly standard items, but their customer service would not check if they use the same drum or spider in any of their newer models. I won't buy from them again...
problem with there three year guarantee…
problem with there three year guarantee .I purchased a toaster and a kettle from Russell Hobbs in march 2022, I registered both items within the time period to have a three year guarantee, in January 2025 within the three year guarantee, my kettle developed a fault with the mechanism of the lid. I contacted Russell Hobbs to make a claim, they informed me that I had to send the receipt, as I had lost the receipt they refused to honor the three year guarantee. having registered the purchase with them in March 2022 they confirmed that my kettle was still under the three year warrantee. Why then will they not accept my claim, to me this is just a dishonest way to not pay for a genuine claim.

I had a problem with a toaster. The conversation was very friendly and quick. Now I'm getting a new toaster and I don't have to send the old one back; I can dispose of it right here, which saves on shipping and hassle - I am very satisfied!

J’ai reçu un grille pain de la marque Russell Hobbs en cadeau de Noël. Au bout de 8 jours celui ci ne fonctionnait plus.
Impossible de trouver un contact, une adresse, une info pour le retourner.
Produit acheté sur Amazone, aucun document, ni adresse, ni facture pour le retour !! C’est un cadeau.

Superslechte waterkoker die lekt
De waterkoker (1,7 liter) van Russell Hobbs ging na ongeveer een jaar lekken: het kunststof van de waterniveau indicator (die verticaal in de mantel van de waterkoker zichtbaar is) was niet goed meer op zijn plaats (terwijl de waterkoker nimmer gevallen is of zoiets). Daardoor is er minieme ruimte ontstaan waardoor het water uit de mantel druppelt en het een natte boel wordt, ook onder de waterkoker. Ik koop nooit meer Russell Hobbs dus. Wat een shit produkt!

Ein paar Tage über die Garantiezeit ist die Kaffeemaschine kaputt gegangen. Hatte vergessen die Registrierung vorzunehmen. Dann wäre es noch in der Garantiezeit gefallen. Kulanz gleich null vom Kundendienst und verweisen auf die vergessene Registrierung.
