I informed Russell Hobbs that my irons…
I informed Russell Hobbs that my irons lead was very hot, they asked a few questions and I replied honestly. They then decided to replace my iron with a new one no faffing around. My new iron arrived today, customer service excellent thank you

I contacted Russell Hobbs today regarding a faulty item that was fortunately, still under guarantee. It was very easy to communicate with them and they replied within the hour. Having provided photographs and a copy of the invoice, they have already confirmed the item will be replaced within 3-5 days. What a quick, fantastic and fair response. Overall very happy.

I phoned Russell Hobbs this morning and, as requested, emailed them my name, address, copy receipt, product number etc and a short video of the toaster malfunctioning. I got a reply within a few hours confirming that they had assessed it and would be sending a replacement in 3-5 days. Brilliant! If only every company was as good.

The claim was for a kettle that stopped working after 18 months, replacement kettle sent to my home address.
Overall very pleased with the outcome.
Expected problems with Amazon BUT ...
Bought a steam iron through Amazon expecting the usual problems when things went wrong and it stopped producing steam but surprise surprise RH customer service were very helpful, after a few photos to make sure we hadn't used it to cook they sent me a new one. Much to our surprise the second one had the same problem straight out of the box. Again following a photograph or two they have offered to replace it again. Can't fault the customer service.

Toaster Nightmare
I bought a toaster at the end of April but it stopped working at the beginning of July. One side stopped popping up and the heating element still stayed on which was really dangerous. It was a nightmare trying to contact Russell Hobbs about it as I couldn't get a reply. When I finally did they asked for a video and pictures of the fault which I supplied them with. They offered me a replacement and told me to throw away the faulty toaster but since it was such a pain getting in touch with them I asked for a refund instead. Now they want the faulty toaster back because they have to assess it before they give me a refund - this could take up to four weeks! They then booked a UPS collection for that very same day but they didn't ask me if that was ok - it wasn't because I wasn't in. I haven't sorted it yet but it's been such a headache. This was my first and last order with them. I'll be sticking with Amazon from now on.

Very good customer care
Very good customer care. Even though my iron was out of warranty (it was 18 months old) I was offered a replacement free of charge. After only 2 days of contacting them.
