NOA Customer Care or lack there of...

Please consider carefully before purchasing from NOA, their marketing is good but... they do not follow through on promises and blame their distributors for poor communications... the product may be good but the customer care is non existent.

At Noa Home, we carefully select the third party transporters that we choose to work with to serve our customers throughout the country. That being said, these transporters operate independently from us, and unfortunately, certain factors surrounding the delivery process of our customer orders are simply outside of our control.

As stated on our website and your confirmation email (invoice), standard order processing and transit delays are estimated between 3-14 business days. That being said, as your order was placed over the busiest time of year, Hunter Express was experiencing slightly longer than expected delays within their network, as they were working through a high volume of parcels. This information was provided on our website at the time your order was placed, to ensure our customers were fully aware of any additional delays that may occur over the holiday period. We're sorry if this information was missed while you were shopping on our website.

During this time, our team was constantly communicating with the carrier partner and requesting frequent updates on the status of your order. As Hunter Express operates independently from Noa Home, our team doesn't have access to their internal system, delivery schedules and / or availability. For this reason, we were forced to rely on their team to provide us with updates on your order, which we didn't always receive as quickly as we'd hoped.

While we fully take responsibility for the partners we choose to work with, the delays that Hunter Express were working through over the holiday period were to be expected (as indicated on our website), and simply out of anything we could control, despite our best efforts.

Again, we're sorry that we didn't deliver on a perfect experience, and will be sure to review your comments for further improvements on our delivery services.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried…

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about our order not arriving after reading these reviews. But our Osaka bed arrived within 4 weeks (there were a couple snow storms), with no problems and in immaculate condition. Phew!

Good quality and excellent customer service

Before I made the purchase, I had a few questions and they were promptly answered via email. After order was made, the delivery was relatively fast too and I'm very pleased with the quality of the item I've gotten.

Great quality and seamless experience :)

My partner and I were looking for a modular sectional that would fit in our smaller townhouse, that was not too high-end in cost without sacrificing too much on quality! We also wanted something quickly, and have the Noa Osaka bed in our bedroom already. The numerous options made it incredibly easy to find one that would fit in our space and would still allow us to move the pieces around. The price of the Flow sectional was exactly what we were looking for and it came within two weeks! Incredibly comfortable and a seamless customer experience.

Don’t buy from this website

Don’t buy from this website. I ordered a bed in December and after substantial delay they delivered it without hardware to put the bed together. I have now been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for more than 2 weeks. Have called them countless times and they just keep saying they are following it up. I cannot get any answers as to why they can’t send out the hardware that I have paid for. Terrible experience that still hasn’t been resolved.

Great quality products from Noa

Great quality products from Noa - I bought the Lite Mattress (in October 22) and Chelsea Chair (in April 22) and loved them. The mattress is well-balanced (soft yet firm) for my spine and the chair is nice with an adjustable armrest and back. Overall, Noa's products are pretty, good quality, and at a good price point.

My only complaint would be the delivery process because Noa's delivery partner would only call and not email regarding the delivery arrangement for both purchases. For my first purchase with Noa, I missed a call (thinking it was a scammer) and days later realized that it could be from Noa's delivery partner.

STAY CLEAR OF NOA

I wish they would offer a ZERO rating. NOA has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Read the other bad reviews and they are exactly what to expect. Was assured my bed would be delivered in early December, called to ask where it was and it became end of December latest first week of January here's $50 for your problems. January comes and NOTHING so I call again and was told I will speak to a manager as we want to make your experience a positive one. No returned call and this happened FIVE times!!!! Asked them to cancel but they refuse as I finally receive an email about delivery but I don't want it so they will charge me $50 to cancel??? You lied about delivery times, never called back and had no bed for two months because they made false promises on delivery dates. They basically ignore you and avoid phone communication because they know they're going to lie to you. There are better options and businesses that will appreciate your business and treat you with respect. *****NOA please do not leave a message asking me to contact you as I do not care to listen to your corporate BS about how you care and you want to make my experience a pleasant one.***** ..I..

I recommend NOA -

We took a chance on NOA and we have zero regrets. The couch was delivered as advertized. It is also very well built and very comfortable. Ordering couches online can be risky but we took the risk and it paid off big time.

Would buy again

I discovered Noa via a Google search for a cream couch that I was failing to find anywhere else.
Noa had what I was looking for in stock and I got a beautiful couch without have to wait 16-18 weeks.

Pacific modular XL

We purchased the Pacific modular XL sofa for our condo in Montreal. It arrived around 3 weeks later. Delivered to our door. Easy to unpack, not too heavy, a very simple installation. It looks awesome, very comfortable and after a few months still seems pretty sturdy. Also, the fabric washes very easily with a simple wet cloth.

Really comfortable in the beginning

Nice firm bed and comfortable for sitting and lying. Although I kinda feel that the firmness has reduced quite a bit after just a month of use.

Not until after I placed an order for…

UPDATE: Feb. 4/23
The mattress arrived unannounced, but it's here!! The box was pretty banged up but the mattress was is good shape. I did notice the 3rd party shipping company, had received the mattress a month prior, but Lumis had taken over to make the delivery. My guess is there were problems with their original transporter, AMJ Campbell.
I'm just happy we received our mattress!

Not until after I placed an order for the Noa mattress (Dec.22/22) was it stated the mattress was currently out of stock but expected back later that month. In addition, the "Free Delivery" would not be in effect and to expect a delivery charge (amount unknown).
It is now Jan.16/23. I have sent 4 emails enquiring about my order only to be told it's 'in progress'. Customer Service agreed to apply a $50 credit to my account (for the delay and lack of info.) which I have yet to see.
When I call their Cust. Serv. number I am told to leave my name and number for a callback which I have yet to receive.
Overall, I am very disappointed. I feel like I'm being strung along. Who knows if and when we'll see the mattress? :(

Update: January 24 2023
I received a call back from customer service saying my order would be processed 'sometime' last week.
I would then expect to receive an email (from their 3rd party transport service) regarding delivery.
I have not heard nor seen anything since that phone call on January 16th. (sighhhh)

UPDATE: January 27 2023
Still nothing... :(

Read before purchase.

I’m not one to write a review but this was necessary. Absolutely terrible service. Dishonest business that does not honour what they advertise. 3 days of headaches just to end in a cancellation. Do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere.

I wish they practiced what they preach; CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

(PART 1)

By now, I'm sure the entire department at Noa Home knows me by name. I will spare no detail as this company has lead me to feel extremely frustrated and by the end of it all, honestly I'm not as happy with the product as I thought I would be.

I moved from an apartment in Toronto to a single house in Ottawa in January 2022 and I've been searching for a large sectional since. I finally came across Noa near the end of September 2022 and it was pretty much everything I was searching for, for months. I placed my order for the Flow Modular XL on November 2nd, 2022. I recieved an email for order of confirmation that stated that with shipment delays outside of the GTA (I'm in Ottawa), the item(s) would arrive within 5-10 business days. I had absolutely no problem there. I kept in touch, every 3-4 days; I would call customer service and ask for an update and all was good. Usually when I called, I would leave a voicemail and recieve a callback within 24-48 hours. Within the first 3 days of my purchase, the price of the sofa was adjusted by $50 and they gladly did the price adjustment for me immediately.

On the 11th business day (November 20th) after I had placed my order, I sent an email to C (from the management team, that's who I was keeping in contact with up until that point) asking her about the whereabouts of my order. She called me the day after and followed up the phone conversation with an email stating the shipment was going to arrive within 24-48 hours to the facility. I was also told during that phone call that she was going to write a note down for priority delivery since I mentioned to her that I was going to be out of the city for 2 weeks and wanted to have it delivered before I left. Once again, I had no problems. They were keeping me updated and I was content with that.

November 21st was the last time I spoke with C. Every time I called after that day, I was speaking to A (customer service agent). I was told things like there has been a shipment delay, confirmed by A that I'm still on priority shipping and that everything was okay and under control.

I spoke to A once again on the phone about the shipment delays and false promises on the 23rd or 24th of November and she said they would be willing to offer me $100 compensation for my inconveniences. I told A on the phone that I don't believe $100 is worth all the inconvenience I've been forced to face and that I would like to speak to someone in management. I was never connected to anyone in management but rather told that they'll get back to me.

I recieved an email on the 25th of November saying that the best they could do was $135 compensation. I responded by explaining the inconveniences I have been facing once again and requested $200, although this would not get rid of my inconveniences, it would at least ease my financial burden a little and make the situation a little more reasonable to handle.

I later spoke to A on the phone again on the 26th explaining to her that there was a $75 off all sofas for black Friday and I was able to price adjust anyways because I haven't recieved the shipment yet, to which she agreed and said that she'll refund me the $135 they originally said plus the $75 price adjustment which would've been a total of $210. I received this in email and waited for over 14 business days until I finally recieved the compensation.

My next phone call to A was on the 29th of November. I was glad to know that shipments have arrived to the facility on the 27th and I was told that AMJ Campbell would be emailing me by the end of the first week of December to set a delivery date.

This is where things got really complicated for me. I called Noa on 5th of December and left a voicemail, I received a call back from A2 (in management) on the 6th. The information he gave me astonished me. I was left speechless. I was informed by him that surely, shipments arrived on the 27th and 28th of November to the facility and all the shipments have already been delivered except my shipment. He told me I may have missed the email or call. I knew I didn't but for clarification, I called AMJ Campbell.

They searched my name and found no record. Then, they searched my address. Nothing. They finally searched my order number and to my surprise, my order was not even in their system. I asked them what this meant and they told me that they didn't recieve the shipment, hence why it's not on their system so there's no way they would have even emailed or called me. They had nothing to deliver to me. Nonetheless, the home delivery department took down my information and released a warehouse search to be done and they told me to call back the following morning for an update.

We can see from the communications you had with our team that this is not the option you want to proceed with.

We fully appreciate and take responsibility for the misinformation that was provided to you by one of our team members, which ultimately led to the misunderstanding and confusion relating to your order availability and delivery date - again, we did our very best to resolve this promptly and to clarify any misunderstanding. As well, we've reviewed this with this team member (who is not part of our management team) to ensure this type of error doesn't happen again in the future.

ABSOLUTE SCAM AND WASTE OF MONEY. I WANT TO TALK TO A MANAGER BUT ITS IMPOSSIBLE. GIVE ME A MANAGER'S PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL PLEASE???

Over a month without my mattress now. I call up every other day and they keep saying it will arrive within 48 hours. IMPOSSIBLE to get a full refund at this stage since I need to send it back (Which would probably take me 6 months!!). I got a mere 10% discount offer which i still have not received.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Noa have outsourced and poorly trained Filipinos who are most likely underpaid to read and write scripted answers. They ARE NOT able to resolve queries or provide any reassurance. They only escalate the problems which don't seem to be going anywhere.

I HAD TO ASK THEM to send me WRITTEN confirmations that things were being processed! NOA SORT YOUR COMPANY OUT. This is the 21st century. You need A BETTER DELIVERY PARTNER. One that ANSWERS THE PHONE. One that will update me on package which is stuck in the same city as me.

ABSOLUTELY USELESS. DO NOT BUY. SAVE YOUR ENERGY.

GIVE ME A FULL REFUND NOA OR I WILL KEEP WRITING VERY REALISTIC REVIEWS UNTIL YOU HAVE A ZERO RATING.
