Logan Smith was the representative with whom I actually got to talk for this issue. He did a good job. No complaints about him. He did his job as best he could and managed to get my service cancelled despite the poor circumstances created by Nomad, the company (which is where my grief lies).
Nomad Internet is sketchy. Their Internet service worked really well for a good while (over a year) but then I had a couple of problems, and reaching them for support is nearly impossible. I attempted to cancel my service when I finally got tired of the Internet cutting out without adequate support from the company. I logged in to my portal but was unable to find any way to cancel service. I entered into an existing support ticket that I wanted to cancel. This was one day before my next billing cycle (pay in advance). Since I couldn't cancel myself, I deactivated the card they had on file for me. 3 days into the billing cycle (remember, I pay in advance and haven't had service since before the end of my last cycle), I got a nasty email threatening legal action if I didn't pay a bill (that I no longer owned since I'm canceling my service). The nasty email said I'm 15 days past due even though the attached bill clearly stated my billing cycle was prepay and started 3 days prior.
Anyway, after multiple phone calls and 15 minutes on hold, leaving a message and waiting for a return call, I was able to reach a person and tried to cancel my service. Near impossible and ended up taking an hour on the phone. Again, no fault of Logan - all Nomad. For example, Logan sent me a link so I could go through the process of canceling my service. Inkis you not, a half dozen times I had to reject offers to stay or receive 3 months discount or talk to a rep, etc before I got to the screen where I could actually cancel, only to find the form wouldn't accept my modem information! Again, Logan was able to work it out on his end, but why does it have to be so difficult?
I'm going to cut my rant short and just provide two more examples of how difficult this company is. The previous time my service went out, I tried calling them and received an automated message that they were upgrading their phone system and it should be done by the end of the month, which was 3 WEEKS AWAY! I ended up entering a ticket through their online ticketing service. At one point I received a message that they had not heard a response from my in 2 weeks, except I have NEVER heard a response from THEM! 🤦♂️
Again, Logan Smith - great. No complaints. He worked hard to help me. Nomad, whenever I needed support, was just one headache after another.

Mike helped restore my service fast after being on hold for over an hour and having to call 3 times.
Service was fine for what it was. Since closing it out it has been a nightmare to deal with these people. They consistently sent me emails about over due payments and threating action. Only to check back in on my account and with support to find there was nothing. Now as of writing this they have charged me a random 125.69 USD which doesn't even match up with the service I had with them.
They are incredibly sketchy when it comes to their billing and customer support practices. I'd find someone else if you can.

Sam Fash helped me with exceptional speed and accuracy. I told them that i was overcharged and billed twice, he said one moment and 45 seconds later he fixed everything. Usually im chatting for at least 30 min. I also received a credit which was unexpected!
