Luisa is an absolutely amazing asset to the No Milk Like Mamas team. When things got tricky in our breastfeeding journey at 6 months she gave us the tools and confidence to get back on track and I will be forever grateful for her support.

I cannot thank Luisa enough for the support she provided. Luisa was able to offer me a next day appointment which I am so grateful for. Sian made all of our worries and concerns feel valid. We felt listened to and hopeful! Sian really helps you to understand sleep biology which further then helps you to understand your little ones sleep. We’re currently still in the process of working on supporting sleep with our little boy but it’s already shown a difference in his happiness in the day which is just lovely to see.
Sian also made an effort to congratulate me on continuing with breastfeeding which was so nice to hear and feel supported in something which has not always been easy. It really made a difference to have someone acknowledge the hard stuff!

From day one our little boy has been suffering, he was in so much pain and had reflux which almost broke me. I found Luisa from NMLM and from the first conversation Luisa was so kind and really seemed to feel my stress. I was a nervous wreck about having his tongue tie cut but Luisa made me feel so at ease. She is extremely knowledgeable and has performed over 1000 procedures. Luisa’s support after the procedure has been second to none, I would send her a message and she would reply so quickly. She would also check in (even Sundays) Having her on the end of the phone has been a saviour for me, when I was at my lowest she has supported me to get to the other side. I can’t thank her enough and would highly recommend her to everyone.

We were really happy with our assessment with Luisa. From when we contacted Luisa through NMLM, we received a phone call for a consultation that night, and went for an assessment (for potential tongue tie) just a few days later. When we met Luisa she was very welcoming and all the information was provided in a concise, easy to understand manner. We are really appreciative of the care provided by Luisa.

Luisa is an amazing, professional midwife. I would book her again in a heartbeat. Before booking she called to discuss the details and then sent me some information on the procedure. When she arrived, she was prompt and polite. You can tell by the way she describes and explains everything to you that not only does she care but also has a depth of knowledge that frankly you rarely see in the NHS today. Thanks again for helping our little one!

Sian was so helpful providing great tips and helping me feel much more confident weaning my daughter before I started medication that I couldn’t breastfeed on. She listened carefully to understand where we were currently and suggested a range of ways to help gently wean my little one. My daughter recently booked a consultation with Lucy. She was brilliantly- incredibly knowledgeable and
thorough and sensitive to my daughters needs. She couldn’t have been more helpful and engaged with trying to find solutions. Nothing is simple or one size fits all with breastfeeding problems. The smallest changes can make a huge difference. So having her in depth knowledge and sensitivity was invaluable. Thank you for a brilliant service. Would recommend this service to all new mums.

I was desperate to be able to breast feed my little one as, also after a tricky start, i had managed to feed my first daughter and wanted to do this for my youngest daughter too. However, tongue tie, even after division, made this very difficult. I ploughed on still trying to breast feed alongside expressing and formula top ups but i was feeling frustrated and emotionally drained that the breast feeding was so painful and difficult and not the lovely bonding experience that i knew it could be. At the point i contacted NMLMs i was feeling like i would never be able to breast feed effectively and without pain but Lucy was so understanding and knowledgeable and gave me so much information and other positions to try that i immediately felt like my breastfeeding journey was starting again rather than having reached the end. Lucy regularly checked in and gave me so many useful links and resources that i could keep coming back to and she gave further support as required as well as encouraging me to attend the breastfeeding cafes which i found really helpful. I am now happily exclusively breast feeding but will not hesitate to book Lucy for further support if required, it is the best investment i have ever made. Thank you. Katie

On first arriving at the breastfeeding cafe I received a friendly and welcoming greeting by the team. They were all really helpful and kind as were the mums that dropped in too! I found it really useful being able to talk to the professionals as well as other mums who were at a similar stage of motherhood!

Sian is so helpful and reassuring I would thorough recommend contacting her if you need support with sleep and feeding. Her Instagram is also brilliant and a provides a wealth of knowledge as well as a lovely supportive community.

Luisa was an attentive and empathetic listener and gave great advice, support and encouragement. She was evidence based, experience informed and a great communicator. She very obviously knows her stuff and can get that across to someone who is emotional, sleep deprived and struggling, in a caring and gentle way. She has made me feel so much better about improving my breast feeding journey - I wish I had spoken to her weeks ago! She sent a helpful summary of our consultation with lots of links and further info - which has been so useful. If you are struggling with your breast feeding journey, don’t wait to speak to her - just do it - you won’t regret it.

Luisa is the best- so kind and patient with a perfect balance of knowledge and empath. She made me feel so comfortable and confident and solved my problems when 3 doctors couldn’t!

I saw Jo at the breastfeeding cafe for some reassurance and she was so friendly and helpful. It was a lovely environment and great to meet other mums too!

We opted to get some maternity support in after the birth of our first child. Not having any family support nearby was a real concern for us. Having Sharon coming for a few hours every week has provided the reassurance, headspace and rest to take the edge off those first three months. I can honestly say it's worth every penny for the mental health benefits alone. Sharon is warm, reassuring and very professional. She's easy company to have in the house and when I go for a blissful nap I know my daughter is well cared for. I feel very lucky to have had this in my first fee months of being an at times shell-shocked new Mum!
