I was sceptical but the table arrived…
I was sceptical but the table arrived on time. It is very heavy so when it says "light assembly required" don't let this make you think you can move it into place easily. We ordered a large table with 10 chairs and this was delivered on a pallet which was too big to get through the garden gate. My husband and I are mid 40s with above average strength and the table was incredibly heavy to lift through to the patio. The table arrives in pieces and there weren't any instructions. I called the office and they sent over some by email but just be aware that you may have to ask for them. The actual construction of the table was relatively simple but we needed to swap some pieces round to make sure the holes lined up. I would say the craftsmanship isn't the best in places but the table looks great on the whole. Unfortunately 2 chairs were faulty on arrival but the replacement of these was quite simple and they arrived within a week. All in all I am pleased with the purchase for the price paid and the set does look great.

The furniture is really great
The furniture is really great. Very well made and solid as well as very stylish. The furniture arrived beautifully packed and it was easy to un-wrap and put out in the garden, with very very little "building" to do!
I'm really thrilled with this great addition to my garden.

No customer care!
Bought a similar patio set 15 years ago from Norfolk Designer Gardens and have been very pleased. Reordered a new table and six chairs recently but one of the chair was delivered smashed up. Norfolk Designer Gardens do not respond to any emails, website contacts or phone calls/messages to their customer care department. The only contact we could get is through their new orders phone dept, who couldn't care less about issues. We were given FOUR promised delivery dates with a replacement chair, one each week over a four week period. Every single delivery date was broken! This isn't an error, this is deliberate. It is a mature company that just doesn't care about customers. It has been a nightmare for us!

We’re very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced.
We completely understand how disappointing it was to receive a damaged chair and then have several replacement delivery dates not go ahead as expected. We also apologise that you found it difficult to get through to our customer care team during this time. That is not the level of communication we want our customers to receive.
We’re pleased that your replacement chair was successfully delivered today, the same day this review was posted, and we hope this now brings the issue to a close.
We would, however, like to reassure you that the missed delivery dates were certainly not deliberate. We have taken your comments regarding both the communication and the repeated delivery arrangements on board, as this is clearly an area where we need to do better.
We’re sorry that your experience fell below the standard we aim to provide.

The furniture is great, robust and very comfortable too. Cushions fit perfectly.
Unfortunately there was a tiny ‘flaw’, caused in transit, but no longer visible after ‘treatment’.

Good quality at a good price.
Good quality item at a competitive price. Delivery was a bit out of the blue as it turned up with no prior warning and from memory was quite late in the day.
The seat was easy enough to assemble and looks really good. No complaints.

The advice to oil the table was good as the first drop of rain stained the lovely surface before we could get it done, otherwise the design quality and sturdiness of the table and chairs is lovely.
