Scammed by the sales man. I initially wanted a sigenergy system but was talked into their "own brand" ohk storm connect system by the sales man. I was assured that this was manufactured by ohk and not some cheap rebrand.
Sure enough and as i partly expected this is just old trash with their logo on it.
The ohk inerter is actually a hypontech hes5000 and the ohk battery is a Soluna LV. The app is poor in comparison to my friends sig installation and the inverter plus battery are ugly with exposed connections and i have rust appearing on the equipment inside a few weeks.
I am really disappointed with the way i have been misled about this cheap rubbish rebranded equipment from china.
I really want my system removed and the sig i initially asked about or a refund.

From the first visit from Mark Whelan to assess suitability and advise which system would work best for us to the site visit and installation we found the whole experience stress free. No problem contacting Mark for advice and clarification on any issues. Total professional. The installation of the system was seamless. Was particularly impressed with electrical installation, as they fitted a sub board beside outdoor meter which meant all of system is outside the house. Really neat and professional work ( and I am quite fussy). Then app. takes a little getting used to, but a phone call to OHK sorted out any questions I had. Not the cheapest company in the market, but not the dearest either. You get what you pay for. So far so good. I am confident their after sales serve will be as impressive ,if required. I have no connection with this company, this is an honest review of my experience with them.
I would highly recommend them. I had four different companies quote for the job, and I feel I chose the right company.

Very good and efficient installation team supported by a very responsive sales professional. They optimised the space available on the roof, the installation was clean and quick.

Registered interest on the OHK web site. Got a call from a guy a week later arranging to do a call. Organised to speak with him the next day at 18.00 and he never calls. Waited a further week and no call back. I moved on with their competition in the interim. Very poor customer service.

Just an update on last weeks review.

After another weekend of sitting in the cold we had another no-show from this pack of con men today.

Tell Ollie Hughes that he can contact us any time he wants via the same e-mail that he used to hound us for looking money but he is obviously too much of a big timer these days to bother with his customers unless there is a camera around.

Do not give this company the time of day

**Oh, and in acknowledgment of the reply to my previous post, it most definitely is how this company operates and it is actually insulting to my intelligence to suggest otherwise.

From the beginning the guys at ohk energy were very informative and discussed my needs the process was very quick and the communication with me was excellent throughout the install .The workmanship was very efficient. Would recommend them .

It's been a year now since Ohk Energy did our home energy upgrade. We are absolutely delighted with the results. The Solar Panel team were fantastic and had everything done in 2 days. The triple glazing windows and doors from Senator Windows are of the highest quantity and they were a great company to deal with. Attic insulation was perfect and completed in a few hours. RTS did the radiator replacements and Heat Pump installation and were absolute professionals and a pleasure to deal with. Having the team at Ohk Energy organise all of this and the SEAI grants under the One Stop Shop scheme made all of this seamless. We couldn't be happier with the whole experience and would highly recommend it. The difference to the comfort of our home and our energy bills has been huge.

Good communication, kept to deadlines, nice staff.
However we are still waiting for the app to be activated.......

People didn’t show up on time our days there were supposed to. No engineer showed up he said he did and looked through the window that’s not really acceptable.

Very good service from start to finish, kept informed every step of the way. Installation teams were on time, efficient and very neat. After sales service was excellent. Highly recommended.

You did evberything that you promised at the times that you promised. The lads who put up the solar panels were super efficient and professional and two days later two excellent electricians arrived. They worked a full day with minimal breaks and did an exceptional job.
Your pricing was good. Your agent was helpful and all in all.... top marks!

Overcharged for additional services/products. I got quoted 4,650 for a 9kw battery while a price match was 3,915. When I pointed this out to OHK I was hit with a threat that it will impact my warranty if I go elsewhere. Very disappointing after-sales experience. Avoid.

On the day of installation of our solar panels there was little to no disruption to us. Everything ran smoothly and it was a great service overall

The initial visit from Mark was very informative and answered all of our questions, we really appreciated his time. All work went to plan, we were kept well informed. All of the tradespeople, electricians and installers were efficient and tidy and very easy to deal with. Any questions we have had post installation have been answered by the office staff in OHK, we were apprehensive about this new technology, applying for SEAI grants, choices to be made etc, but it has all worked out very well due to the level of communication and workmanship. Thank you all at OHK, I would have no problem recommending you to friends and family

The consultation by Sean was very informative and helped me understand my current and projected future costs along with some areas of electricity usage that I needed to investigate. He also explained the best tariff that I should apply for best on new solar set up and my usage.

The install process was non intrusive, it was scheduled and done whilst I was away from home. The lead engineer called me with updates and picture to ensure I was happy with the install before signing off.

The BER Cert and Grant application was all handled by the Ohk team and was seamless.

Above all that I found the cost very competitive and I am already, even with a damp Jan and Feb, starting to see the benefits with more hot water, reduced grid intake which has seen lower monthly electricity cost.

I got good advice from outset, a clean and tidy install done at quick turnaround and a system im very happy with and is performing better than expected.

The cost was very competitive, but I feel I got an above value service and product so couldn't be happier.

Strongly recommend.

They left nails and roof tacks all over the grounds. Sloppy.
