Had an 8 day/2 park safaris in Bandhavgarh and Khana. The accommodation in small lodges were very close to the national parks (none are allowed in the national parks) were excellent with good service, clean and fantastic food. We had 5 safari drives in each national parks in open jeeps and both the parks were very different. We were lucky enough to see the amazing tigers in both the parks as well lots of birds, vegetation and other animals in their natural habitat, The guides were very knowledgeable and keen conservationists and we were well looked after. Our only downside was that we thought we had booked on a small group safari but in fact there was no group!

We were more than pleased with our experience with the crew at OnTrack.
Every detail was addressed, price was reasonable and Werner was the best!

In Sept 2019 we returned from the most amazing holiday. As first time safari goers, after speaking with and taking valuable advice from both Will and Carol we opted to book the 10-day Safari in South Africa with the add-on of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We were met and transported to the first of three lodges, Rukiya, tented accommodation in the most wonderful setting on the bank of the River Blyde. We were then transferred to N'Zumba, a fabulous lodge with the most wonderful view over a waterhole, we then then transferred to another, again very different lodge, N'Kaya. This also had a waterhole with a viewing hide - wonderful sights to be seen. The guides and trackers at each of the lodges were excellent and very knowledgeable. Finally, we were transferred back to Rukiya for our final game drives and an interesting bush experience. After the safaris, we then transferred to Victoria Falls, once again fabulous sights to be seen. We really can't thank Will and Carol enough for the help and advice, and Fiona for dealing with all the questions. We will definitely book our next safari holiday with On Track Safaris, and will also be recommending them to our family and friends.

SAFARI :-
Rukiya From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Our Tent was clean and comfortable. Conraad, Dylan and Carys were lovely people and nothing was too much effort. The food here was 5 star - many thanks to the kitchen. We were virtually on our own at this camp with a few people coming and going so it made our stay even better. Although we were extremely lucky with our sightings (Asha and her two cubs - albeit from a distance), we felt that there were not enough animals on Wild Rivers Reserve. The sightings on Excellence were better and again we were extremely privileged with the sightings we managed to see thanks to Conraad and Dylan (3 male lions and a female as well as the rare Pels Fishing Owl).
Kitara - Klasserie This accommodation was incredible, overlooking the river - the room was beautiful. Stefan and Rebecca were very lovely and the food was good. Once again, we were on our own here and were thoroughly spoilt. The game drives were very different - more sightings (painted wolves/wild dogs and hyenas) and changes of landscape. Even got the chance to do a walking safari to see the impressive rhinos up close.
N'kaya - Thorneybush Once again a completely different safari. Accommodation was okay, food was good but the game drives and sightings were spectacular. Lions in abundance, leopards strolling along roads, huge elephants. Although there were more people and jeeps on this reserve, we only ever came across one other jeep at any sighting. It was very well organised with drivers in radio contact but letting each jeep take their turn in seeing the wildlife. Benji and Chantal were lovely hosts and once again apart from the first afternoon, we were the only guests
Rukiya - Wild Rivers We then returned to Rukiya and met Lily, the owner - a very lovely lady. It was like returning home - everyone made us feel welcome. Our camera trap that we set 5 days ago captured a leopard amongst other animals so that was the icing on the cake.

September 2019.My second visit, just as wonderful as the first 2 years earlier.Met at the airport by Ted our driver, was not sure about the 10 hour drive to Hoedspruit was enjoyed to it's fullestas I had just traveled 31 hours to get to Joburg.I did see things I would have missed had I flown.I was sleepy some of the way. Finally got to Rukiya. A wonder place to start the safari.The place is stunning,set on the Blyde River. Staff, food and accommodation 2nd to none. No need to worry about transfers as your told when to be ready to move to your next camp.Next stop Raptor Retreat. Loved the staff again, all was wonderful, beyonds my expectations. Every place special in their own ways. The water holes always had different animals around them. Next lodge, Nzumba located in the Thornybush area.Water holes very active and the meals were set out in different areas of the grounds. Healthy yummy food being severed at all lodges. Your choice of beverages. Some of which you paid for.Guides and trackers are so passionate about their jobs and wildlife. On to Montana lodge next. I loved that my room was next to a fenced off area and the elephants came to the water hole daily for baths.Even a lion stopped by. Again wonderful staff and food.I done a camera trap and a plaster mould of a animal foot print to bring home. I was truly spoiled for my 14 day adventure.!Will and Carol Fox are always available to answer any questions.My OTS water bottle came in very handy on the trip as it was unusually hot for spring and I use it all the time now I'm home. I met people who now are my lifelong friends. we keep in touch often via internet. I share my experience with any one who is interested. As much as loved it, I don't think there will be a 3rd time. My memories are so special of these wonderful trips. Thank you OTS !!

I thoroughly enjoyed the safari I booked with On Track. I felt completely taken care of from the moment I landed in Delhi until I left on a 4:30 am flight 10 days later. I did not have to worry about anything.. The accommodations at both national parks were superb and I did not want for anything.Even though the temperatures were approaching 40C and I had arrived from the end of a Canadian winter, it could not have been better. The naturalists and the drivers were on top of their games. They seemed to know the location of the best animals and birds. 7 tigers in 10 half day safaries was perfect.I'm totally pleased with the team at On Track and thier staff on the ground and at the hotels.

In November 2018, we spent 13 days in the outer Kruger area of South Africa. The trip was excellently organised by On Track Safaris (OTS). Normally we decide where we want to go and which lodges to use and ask an agent to arrange the trip. This time OTS organised everything and the trip went like clockwork. We stayed at four different lodges and had some excellent game viewing even though the whole area was in the third year of drought. We would definitely recommend using OTS.

Three words best describe our South African safari with On Track Safaris, fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! It was our first trip with OTS and we stayed in three different camps,Rukiya, Tangala & Nyeleti & they all exceeded expectations. They were quite different from each other but all were superb. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with good food, comfy beds & fantastic hosting. This wasn't our first safari but it was by far the best in terms of the quality of game we saw & at quite close quarters in some instances! One of the especially unique features of this safari was that we rarely encountered any other vehicles which is quite unusual these days. The guides at each camp were friendly & very knowledgeable. We can't wait to plan another trip with OTS because if it is as good as this trip it will be a fun action packed experience! Excellent trip - well organised as usual by On Track Safaris. Wildlife sightings were great especially the private viewings of jaguar where you were really able to observe the animals behaviour without being surrounded by other boats. The group size was small which worked well and permitted more flexibility in activities. The guides were first class as was the eyesight of the boat driver on the jaguar excursions!
