Wow! Just received my hat and am totally impressed with the workmanship, quality, and fit of the product. I took the time to print and use the measuring tape to ensure a perfect fit and it worked! The hat fits exact. Thank you for a product of such quality. Just excellent.

These hats are worth it.

After ordering my hat (Montecristi Sub Fino Havana Panama Hat), I received updates on its journey to me from the PHD team including pictures of it (as the lining was inserted, as the band was added, etc.).

The hat was shipped to me from Ecuador, in a rugged box with hat holder insert. The box was marked Fragile, it was securely taped shut and reinforced with glue.

The hat itself was without blemish. The weave is immaculate, the lining and band are of high quality and I have never looked as good in a hat as in this one.

They offer many styles and shapes, with a wide array of sizing options - including a custom made offering.

I can highly recommend the craftsmanship and quality of this hat and would encourage anyone looking for a quality accessory to look here.

Great experience working with William the manager who communicated with me on the phone and email throughout the entire process. He helped me place the order so I got exactly what I wanted. A fino fino grade Havana Montecristi hat made to my specifications and for a price that was below what I expected. Panama hat Direct (PHD) sent regular updates by email and included pictures of the hat as it was being made. In the end, I got the hat of my dreams and they sent the name and picture of the weaver who made my hat.

I just received the first of two custom-designed hats I ordered from them - a Fino Montechristi Trilby with a 3.3" - 3.5" full small curled brim, and it is absolutely gorgeous! It is artistically constructed with highest quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. As beautiful as this hat is, I can't wait to receive the 2nd hat I ordered - a Super Fino Montecristi Optimo, also with a 3.3" - 3.5" full small curled brim.

Not only are Panama Hats Direct's hats beautiful, their customer service is exceptional. Prior to ordering these hats I had several questions regarding their hats and hat bands, and Panama Hats Direct promptly and articulately responded to all of them.

I recently ordered a "fino fino" panama hat through "Panama Hats Direct". I was a little hesitant to do so because it is a significant purchase to be made from a foreign country for a product I wasn't able to see/touch/try on ahead-of-time. I've been familiar with the company for years and knew that the owners have an outstanding reputation, so I bit the bullet. I'm so glad that I did! The process was easy, the hat arrived surprisingly promptly, and most importantly, it is a work of art! I enthusiastically recommend Casey and his team for high quality panama hats at a surprisingly reasonable price.

Received my hat yesterday. I love it, my wife loves it. Couldn't be happier. Arrived sooner than I expected. I had a question/concern and sent an email. I quickly received a response which answered my question. Customer service alone is a reason to use Panama Hats Direct.

I received my hat yesterday and I must say it is a sweet looking hat. I ordered an inexpensive hat because I wanted to check out the sizing and the size is just right. I plan on ordering a custom made hat in the near future for the summer and will perhaps do so in February.
A brief word about their customer service: they were excellent. I was a little nervous over shipping but alas it was all for not. The hat arrived in excellent condition and in a reasonable amount of time. Once again customer service was great, they informed me exactly when I would get my hat and it came right on time.

I had it custom made to my specifications which made it take longer. It was well worth the wait. I had a concern about the shipping and I received a swift response. Great communication about your hat progress

I would say all the same extremely positive things about quality, service, and price that many other reviewers have said. To add something of my own: I've bought many panama hats over the years in the US and London, and it was a pleasure to finally get one that fits perfectly -- not just close, but just right. After studying the downloadable size guide, I decided I needed a 59.5 cm, and that's what I was able to get. Not only do I wear it proudly, but I'll wear it often, because it's really comfortable.

This was a gift to a fellow hat lover and he tells me it is the best hat he has ever had! I had problems shipping to the right address and received prompt and polite help from this seller. I will be buying again...maybe for me, though I have too many hats, but no real Panama! Thank you!

Started this venture back in February did my research talked to Brent Black one of the best in this market, also read blogs; fedora Lounge and some others, YouTube videos. Overall, went with William and Casey nice guys even though, with the rampant Coronavirus sweeping over Ecuador they were able to custom make me a TRUE WORK OF ART. Yes I counted the Weaves per Square Inch 1500 YES you read it right "1500"! It's a beautiful hat I own some nice hats but this bar none is the best hat I ever saw and now Own. The finishing is okay but for this quality of hat they could done better on the sweatband (sew leather ends) and better brim blocking, this is not critique, but a suggestion. Excellent communication during the whole process, and Quality work for the PRICE easily the hat's worth $4000 to $5000 in the USA!

My hat is a work of beauty. I am happy to support this traditional craftsmanship. My hat is very comfortable, light weight, and fits perfectly. The company provides exceptionally good customer service.

My favorite hat blew off into Biscayne Bay a few weeks ago....I found Panana Hats Direct and thought I'd give them a try. WOW.....I now have a new favorite hat. It looks great and fits perfectly. At first I was concerned about getting measurements correct the but they did a great job.

I just received my hat and could not be more pleased. The fit is perfect and the quality is better than I expected. I am most impressed with how light weight and comfortable the hat is. The ordering process was very easy and the follow up communications kept me apprised of every step of production and delivery. I recommend Panama Hats Direct most highly. Now, I need to order a an assortment of hat bands. . .

Returned a hat to them in October, 2019 as per their instructions. Despite requesting a status on my return for four months, they haven't chosen to reply. They kept pushing for a custom $800 hat. I've already bought a custom hat from them. When I didn't order the custom hat, they cut off all communication. Guess I won't see my $250 USD. What a bunch of crooks. Never have encountered this.

PHD worked with me to correct this situation. The problem was that Yahoo directed their and my established email communications to the spam folders. The folders only go back for 30 days. When we finally re-established communications, they bent over backwards to take my specifications and have a hat made. The hat is a very fine example of a Montecristi. Like it very much. Give them 5 stars!

I just received my in hat in a bag and not a box and it is destroyed!!!
