As a restored Victorian mill, the building presents some structural challenges, but accessibility remains extremely important to us. Over the years, we have invested significantly in improving access throughout the mill, including installing ramps to almost all areas and providing a powered chair lift where a compliant wheelchair ramp could not be accommodated due to the building's layout and safety requirements.
We appreciate that the chair lift may not meet the needs of every wheelchair user, particularly where a transfer is not possible, and we understand how disappointing that must have been when you were hoping to make a purchase.
For customers who are unable to access the upper furniture showroom, our team is always happy to assist by bringing furniture downstairs for viewing and comparison where practical. We would be delighted to arrange this by appointment to ensure the best possible experience.
We are continually reviewing ways to improve accessibility within the constraints of a historic building, and your comments will be shared with our management team as part of that ongoing process.

The dining table and chairs supplied were delivered as ordered and were not faulty. Following delivery, you contacted us to arrange a return as the finish of the marble table top was different from your expectations.
As this was a change-of-mind return rather than a product fault, the return was handled in accordance with our Returns Policy, which is available on our website prior to purchase. Before proceeding, we provided a full breakdown of the applicable charges and obtained your agreement before arranging collection.
The deductions applied reflected the genuine costs associated with delivering, collecting, and restocking a large furniture order. Unfortunately, these are costs that we incur from third-party logistics providers and therefore cannot be waived in cases where products are returned without fault.
We understand that returns of large furniture items can be frustrating and appreciate that you were disappointed the product did not meet your expectations. We continually review the information we provide to customers and value all feedback regarding the purchasing process.

Wrong dining table delivered
I ordered the 200cm Bianca Oval Dining table - only for Pendle Village to send the incorrect dining table. After waiting 2 weeks and courier came at 5am to deliver, only to realise Pendle Village sent the wrong table. Such a huge disappointment, please see attached the incorrect dining table on the van. Lack of customer care nor attentiveness to confirm if right table has been loaded, such a shame. I was extremely excited to be hosting a large party on the day of delivery of this table, only for this be failed by Pendle Village, absolute disaster. It’s also a challenge having a chat with the manager as he comes across quite rude and keep interrupting and cutting off my conversation, he doesn’t take any accountability nor responsibility.

We’re truly sorry for the disappointment caused when the incorrect Bianca Oval Dining Table was delivered, especially as you were preparing to host a special occasion. We completely understand how upsetting and stressful this must have been.
We take full responsibility for the incorrect item being loaded and have addressed this internally to strengthen our quality checks and training. The delivery time was arranged at your request, and despite difficult snow conditions, your order was dispatched within the quoted 5–10 working days. Once the issue was identified, we acted quickly to deliver the correct table and collect the incorrect one within a few days.
Our customer service team remained in regular contact throughout, and our store manager personally reached out to apologise and offer compensation as a gesture of goodwill. We’re very sorry to hear that you felt dissatisfied with those conversations — this is not the experience we want any of our customers to have.
At Pendle Village Mill, we care deeply about both our products and our customer experience, and we regret that on this occasion we fell short. Your feedback has been taken seriously and will help us improve moving forward.

A fantastic place to visit, with great staff who always welcome you with a smile and a conversation. Lovely fashions, books and footwear as well as lots of beautiful and unusual plants. The cafe is superb and another bonus is that it's dog friendly.
